this will become necessary when your car starts having a high idle rpm. for example i found this video after my kia picanto stays in an rpm of 3000 - 4000 in idle and at all times.
It was not necessary to take off the hole throttle body to clean the butterfly? i have a 2006 kia picanto 177000 km so 19 years old and I have had to clean mine .

hi sir, patulong po sana ako sa picanto 2006 ko na manual, mahina hatak nya lalo na kung naka AC pero hindi pa eto nalinisan ang throttle body mag 3 years na anu kaya possible nito sir? at hangang 3000 rpm lng sya, dati umaabot nmn ng 4k to 5k pag mag rev ako. wala din check engine sir may kinalaman po ba ang oxygen sensor nito? thank you po ng marami

Ung basic muna try cleaning MAP sensor, IACV and throttle body then pag ganun pa rin check fuel injector or fuel pump. Depende po sa init wag lang sobrang init kaz cold air ang hinihigop kung mapapnsin mo ung air intake nya d siya sa engine kumukuha ng hangin

Am having problem with this same kia picanto 2005, it will always rev down by itself immediately i march the break pelder

Isn't that still too high an rpm?, just like my car with DTC P0507

Try cleaning Throttle body and MAP sensor and oxygen sensor. Then pa check mo AC belt bka mahigpit.
