  • Welcome back to my channel,
Here on this channel I lost Lifestyle, Healing and Nursing content and this video is about my experience studying and passing the CNA state board Exam. Little tips and tricks I used to pass on the 1st try.
Support the CHANNEL BY BUYING MERCH : www.bonfire.com/store/iizidla...
I've also listed a few below but they are more explained with more detailed in the video
    1) STUDY EVERYDAY
    2) USE 4-5 HOURS OUTSIDE OF STUDY TIME TO PRACTICE SKILLS ALONE
    3) DON'T GET SO CAUGHT UP ON TERMS, THINK SITUATIONAL
    4) KNOW HOW TO CARE FOR PATIENTS WITH MENTAL CONDITIONS
    5) TAKE TIME TO PROCESS QUESTIONS, READ EVERY QUESTION TWICE
    6) ONCE YOU ARE COMPLETE, GO BACK AND REVIEW TO ASSURE YOU ANSWERED CORRECTLY
    7) ONVE YOU ARE DONE WITH THE WRITTEN FOCUS ON SKILLS
    8) SKILLS CAN FAIL YOU SO MAKE SURE YOUR PRACTICE
    9) HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THE SKILLS, REMEMBER THE TOOLS YOU'LL NEED TO COMPLETE THE SKILLS AND USE IT AS A REMINDER.
    10) RELAX, YOU WILL BE FINE!
I HOPE THIS VIDEO HELPS ANYONE THAT IS TAKING THE CNA EXAM OR WILL BE STARTING A CERTIFICATION PROGRAM SOON.

I had hand washing, ppe, bp, feeding a resident, and applying TD hose. I forgot to put the call bell in reach during feeding, & got tangled up during ppe thinking I was making a mistake even though I was doing it correctly. I did my best to talk myself through everything as I went. Thankfully I passed ❤ I came across this video & just wanted to tell everyone good luck and you can do this!!! ❤❤❤❤

The written exam, as long as you've done your due diligence in your Care of Patients class, is all logical and easy to remember. The patient is always right is the majority answer, but not always. The skills test, I studied the Credentia videos here on TH-cam everyday until test day. I ended up passing both on the first try. It's all about doing the work. There's nothing else that will prepare you for these tests.

You hit it right on the head , do the work! You do have to study for this I think a lot of people try to take shortcuts and that will not work! The more you study the better you do unless you have anxiety or something of the sort 🎯

Just passed my state exams I honestly felt sick thought I bomb it. On my test for skills they gave me Blood Pressure, Pericare, DON and denture care and of course wash hands that’s the top one you start with, but on my test was bit different as explained my written was majority skills it lease 2% of questions that had to do with food. FYI (If your not good at Bp make BP your main priority it’s an bold skill!!!) Basic Nursing skills was a pin point on my test honestly every test is different you never know what your going get hit with. Key point like he stated is to study study! I hate that you got BP because every nursing home and hospital system I’ve been to has had the automatic dinamap machines for all vitals! Nonetheless you competed and passed the test! What is your goal overall? Are you looking forward to do RN, BSN or complete your time as a CNA!

I would say yes , it covers most topics needed for the CNA Exam. Your program would mainly give you the best book regarding your state because I have heard of other states having a few differences regarding what is taught! I hope this helps and thanks for watching, don’t forget to subscribe 🎯

    • @iizidlaury2023
      @iizidlaury2023  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

You can schedule to take the exam online by using your access number. You’ll receive and access number/code after you finish your CNA course and pay to register! Typically the program you went through would assist you on signing up. I believe I went through “Pearson” to register all of the test and everything! Let me know if that answers your question Emma 🎯 also thanks for watching
