Those cars would absolutely destroy the US market if sold here for those prices. The US auto market needs to be more like them. No one in their right mind should be paying $90+ for a Tesla
I mean, urban car commutes are still being promoted in both countries so...both are arguably stuck in the 20th c, no one should be forced to pay 1000s of $ for an urban veh to begin with
While I agree car companies need to start making and selling affordable EV's, you should do some research about the Chinese EV's. The biggest thing is that they could never be sold here with our DOT regulations and health and safety laws. Because of the corruption that permeates all aspects of Chinese society, they are quite dangerous. I've seen so many videos of brand new unsold EV's burning down on the lot, batteries exploding in accidents, cruise control 'auto-pilot' causing accidents, airbags not deploying in crashes and killing people, the electronic locks and door handles not operating after a crash and the occupants burning to death, etc. Let alone the quality of the parts and build quality/QC of the car itself. I think the biggest indicator is, why were there so few ICE car companies historically, and why do the majority of people drive non-Chinese cars...
Tesla's biggest market is China. Agree with having China's cars available in the US but it's not a Tesla problem it's the legacy automakers that put the brakes on that.

Might be the best video about china I have seen ever (and trust me after 5 years learning Chinese so far and thousands of videos about it it’s quite an achievement 😂)
Love the videos like this!
24:07 _when your_ *CAR* _spots a low-social-credit-person_
I love seeing videos of you and your family! Give us more please. This is amazing!
Massive respect Xiaoma! Love your videos boss :) Beautiful family my guy, be safe out there and have fun :D
Ari, you are probably too busy to read my comment. I have been a fan since you started your YT career. I haven't commented before until now. I have to say of all the vids you created this is hands down the best. You are by far the best content creator in my opinion. Good job sir!
7:10 Those are Emu's actually. Not as big and tall as Ostriches, although they can run fast if their let free.
I was fixing to say that, also crazy they have them on display cause they’re quite dangerous, watch out for the talons 👀 china is wild! You only catch those in Australia really WTH are they doing there lmao
@@TravFletch Hmm. I would have no clue why they're on display. I guess some people in China do thing's differently from other countries that would be illegal. It's like with Sugar Gliders in Australia which are suppose to be wild animals that are now "Pets" for some people to have.
6:40 ...."babo" this was the cutest fringin thing I have ever seen omg
The UI on those electric cars looks just like the Tesla UI lol.
They are superior cars to Tesla's in every way.
Tesla is a rip-off westernised junk food car compared to these OGs
@@AngelEllena insane bot take
@@rush2sk8 tell that to Tesla using BYD batteries on their cars. Westard
China is insanely impressive.. so so cool!
This is a great video Xiaoma!! Thanks for taking us with you on this tour..It's utterly amazing to see the level of technology over there, and the train system with food readily delivered when you arrive!!!!?😯😳...Waaaay beyond what we have here..Frankly I can't see us getting to that level over here, seriously! That said, also interesting to see the restrictions at the book mart...wow!
You're a dad now?!? I need to get caught up! Congrats Xiaomanyc! 🙌
I was thinking the same thing!! I didn’t even know he had a wife 😭😭
lol were those turtles plastidipped?
Very China
Dude youve lost so much weight i haven't seen you pop up since covid! youre out here crushing it good for you man!
Bro you starting to look more like Henry cavill each video you post 😂
My favorite family channel!!
The painting of the turtle shells upset me. Growing up, I use to keep some as pets. Their shells are very sensitive, they can feel all over them like we can our skin
Stop eating meat, it's cruel.
@@Daniel-xp8ctfalse equivalence, try harder ai bot
@@ChocolateFishBrains Yes, it is a false equivalence. Being sadistic and murdering an animal for pleasure is much worse than painting a turtle's shell.
@@Daniel-xp8ct There's a massive difference between animals being mistreated and animals being raised for consumption.
@@Daniel-xp8ct let me guess ur also on your 3rd jab?
China is amazing. So different from what I assumed it would be. I will never see it In person, but I'm glad to see you and your family enjoy it. Technology is pretty wild over there.
Poor animals man
i thought the same thing ... the turtle painted shells ... really bad for them .. that's just one thing.
The situation in the American food industry is worse, believe me. Or better yet, do some research and you'll see.
@@Daniel-xp8ct What makes you think I'm from America ? And we're discussing what is in this video.
@@fallen123gb Lucky you if you don't live there.
@@Daniel-xp8ct you are copy pasting this in every comment talking about the poor treatment of those animals.
Cool, the food industry (not just in the US btw) imcan be cruel to animals. Everyone knows this. But nobody is talking about that here. Why are you obsessed with the US?
Love this, Xiaoma. I'm not interested in visiting China, but it's an interesting place!
Those cars would absolutely destroy the US market if sold here for those prices. The US auto market needs to be more like them. No one in their right mind should be paying $90+ for a Tesla
Agreed, they will not allow Americans to buy affordable auto's. We get to pay 5-10x more here.
I mean, urban car commutes are still being promoted in both countries so...both are arguably stuck in the 20th c, no one should be forced to pay 1000s of $ for an urban veh to begin with
North America needs better public transport, not more cars.
Best video yet. Makes me want to visit China. My son is actually in Japan for two weeks right now.
Japan and Korea are much nicer. China unfortunately lacks a lot of regulation so experiences will vary.
28:57 thank you for posting honestly. Chinese people are wonderfully friendly. The government has major issues. You've subtly pointed out what's happening censorship wise without making a big deal out of it and still shared a largely positive experience. Thank you
If you think america is the land of the free you must not know much
@@melozgul8164America obviously has a lot of issues just like any other country but they definitely don't have the heavy level of censorship that China does. "Free press" doesn't really exist in China, which is a big issue
Really cool video, amazed at the offerings and advances in tech are. Looks very safe too.
8:02 poor animals
agree
Would you say that if it were Japan, cause they have that too.
Well that's wrong in every country they do that
Will you say the same about Pigs, Chickens , and Cows sent to the slaughterhouse in western countries?
Animals are treated better than homeless people in US
OMGaah! Every single second of this film was completely insane. Amazing. I will start studying Chinese.
I knid of feel that the malls in Australia and US don't compete that well with the Chinese malls. The cars, the VR, the tech, arcades, kids experiences, robotics, the experience in general doesn't match what we all have.... Bernie in Sydney
American malls are dying, online shopping has killed most of them off unless it's for super high end goods where you get all sorts of attention.
that's because the self-control here in the states would not allow the nice things to exist. we have "children" here that would destroy those nice things because they have no training about other people things and how to treat them.
Not even close bro.China is way ahead of us
Good job man keep making awesome content!
I've been to that book market in Beijing. The market itself is really interesting
15:46 That's so nice of them, nobody would do this or even think of it where i'm from.
i dont usually comment on youtube videos but just wanted to say your weight loss transformation has been amazing, definitely can notice the work you been putting in. good on you
watching a thriving mall with VR and ostriches is like looking into the past and the future at the same time. It's gonna be hard in 75 years when they all shut down lol
Taiwan is a Free & Independent country!❤️🇹🇼
Hell yea! I love Chinese people, chinese history and chinese culture, but I certainly DONT love the CCP
No it isnt. Sry Americans sold them out in the 70s with the one china poiicy. We traded our worker for slave labor for cheap goods. Thank carter and kissenger
They also lost the civil war
How to never be see again any percent Speedrun.

Love your “I Love New Jersey” t-shirt!!
The flightless birds you saw at the mall were emus not ostrich. It was difficult to see the turtles being painted like that. The paint can cause problems for turtles as they grow. First time I've seen your family. You all look very nice together.
you Don't no what kind paint it is
Your family is just the cutest! :)
Wow, Chinese malls are so family oriented, amazing 😊
That was a cool video! I loved everything.
Now walk around in a Disney t-shirt with pooh on it and see how fast you get arrested.
wow amazing video bro! Insane some of those phones :)
Oh those poor animals. Don’t support that
‘Your face is not as bad’ 🤣
7:00 Looks to be an Emu

Thanks for showing us people on the other side of the planet. Loved the mall with all the books, true
censorship as to what you may read.
Those were Emu in the mall. Ostrich look dif6and are way bigger
Your best add yet.... Well done!
Glad Xiaoma is showing a positive side of China for a change.
Lately online people have been gone from critiquing the government (rightfully) to just deriding the actual culture & people for some reason 😅
Like, it's one thing to call out the ccp, but this image online rising in popularity showing Chinese people as inferior or uncivilized is weird... Covert dog whistle type weird.
Funnily enough it reminds me of when it became cool online to just rag on Americans. Not just the US government, but just compulsive American bashing for sport.
There are definitely aspects of modern Chinese culture worth criticizing
@@Jay_in_Japan Agreed.
But, simply pretending all things China are evil, that's just prejudice.
@@AndresGomez-ct7qb The CCP actively calls all criticism of state policies sinophobic and deflects onto minority of comments being racist to smear the greater voice calling out the CCP for their injustices against the Chinese people they purport to serve but actually oppress
Most sentiments against China are borne from their warmongering in the SChina Sea, their violations of international trade regulations like their usage of slave labor and their support of petty dictatorships like Russia and NKorea among numerous other issues from issues of religious suppression of various native groups across Nepal, Tibet, Laos, Vietnam, and I could list like 15 other Asian nations in that region affected by China including even nuclear superpowers such as India. If Russia in WW3 is to WW2 as Nazi Germany, then China will be its Axis ally Italy in the coming war against the Allied powers that are NATO (primarily US, UK, FR, AU, SK and potentially a few Eastern European states such as Poland)
There's nothing secret, friend, it's blatant Sinophobia prejudice. Hatred fueled by the American political class.
Frfr, if one have never lived in the country, they have no credibility (*ahem usa)
