- The Subaru BRZ is great proof that even for a lower budget car, you can get a lot of driving fun. Yes, the engine is slower than most current hot hatches, the chassis is not as sharp and stable, the Torsen LSD can't really effectively transfer all the power to the road, and the steering plus position behind the wheel will take some time getting used to. But as soon as you spend a few hundred kilometres behind its' wheel and truly understand how it works, you will begin to perceive all its advantages that no one else can offer at this price point!

I love this channel, no talking - just driving. Incredible driving and great cinematics, simple and entertaining. I'm glad my Czech neighbours are creating such a wonderful content. Keep it up!

This video is astonishing! Very good driving skills. But even more impressive to me: "everybody" shouts for 500, 600, and even more horsepower, meanwhile this little 2.4 NA engine is enough to send most of the "big horsepower boys" off-track (if they were behind the wheel of the BRZ with driver aids switched off) showcasing their lack of driver skills. May the affordable sports cars live longer than it currently looks.
I know most people disagree but I think this little boxer engine sounds great.

I have one and also a 2004 sti. The brz is a lot of fun. I took my guitar to the shop and on the way home I saw the new miata hard top. It looked so cool, but I know i have the more practical car. I'll never be able to stuff my guitar in a mazda. I also managed to suff my 6ft tall buddy in the back seat.

Vidím, žes to pojal jako zážitkovou driftovací jízdu, žádná snaha o nejrychlejší čas, jak je tomu u většiny ostatních 🙂 Navíc okruh jsi měl prakticky prázdný, takže to musel být naprosto parádní zážitek. Jízda suverénní, bez nějakých křečí a infarktových krizovek a docela hledím, jak ochotně a lehce jde to brz do smyku 👍
Ono to na mokru v té nagumované stopě asi moc nedrží :-)

Zajímalo by mě jak je to s pravidly a drifotváním na okruhu. Hádám že po dokončení kola dostal stopku. Co potom? To si tam už asi nezajezdíš. Jestli k tomu máte někdo nějaký info, rád se vzdělám. Jinak tu klidnou jízdu obdivuju, krásně se na to kouká :D

Nice driving, but why do you say the chassis is not as sharp and stable? Compared to what cars is it not sharp and stable?
Compared to any decent RWD car. It's not a very stable car, it drifts easily because it has no grip on the super thin eco tires.
The stock alignment favors understeer when driving at the limit, but this can be fixed with negative camber

@@MiroslavKonstak indeed. He keeps reminding me I'm not yet done learning everything there is to master this car & similar ones. I can confidently do it all on the sim while half asleep but still not found enoigh balls to drift above 60kmh in real life lol

Did any year of the BRZ get the GR86 spec engine etc? Or are all BRZ just the mediocore GT86 spec with different badge?
the new brz (released at the same time as the gr86) uses the same engine as the gr86
