Gee fellas, that was great! But a word to the comment readers: When the vid started I was thinking, "Gee, Matt & Jim should use a camera with better resolution." But it wasn't until Jim stuck the camera out the window that I realized I should check the YT video settings - and sure enough for some obtuse reason it defaulted to 360P! So I reset it to 1080P HD and started it over and wow, what a difference! Thanks for the time travel episode to when my parent were kids - I really did get a feel for their age in their era and my Grandfather who owned the first Firestone Tire dealership in Rockville Center on Long Island in NY.

No pretense, no manufactured drama - just keeping it real with some wonderful old rides at Strong's Garage.
Thanks for not being one of "those" YT channels. Very enjoyable!

Thank you for taking us along to Elk Island National Park, it was truly a beautiful place. The 1932 Ford is an awesome piece of American/ Canadian history, and it performed amazingly well. What a jewel.

There is no vehicle as good as a vintage car to drive through national parks and the praries. Me, my wife and my son were cruising through the nortwestern half of the States with a 63 Impala 4d sedan. The visibility is great. The vintage cars are reliable and well adapted to gravel roads. I will never forget a giant bison bull that was rolling himself in the dust, getting up and scratching the ground with his hoof ten yards away from our Impala on a gravel road besides some canyons in the South Dakota badlands. If you are not suicidal you stay quietly in your vehicle. The Ford is also a perfect vehicle for a tour like that.

As a geezer California car guy, I'm loving this stuff. Never owned a '32 Ford, but I 'm sure enjoying watching younger guys embrace them. Whether it's watching Matt and Jim honor (for the most part) originality, or Matt, Steve, and Mike or on Iron Trap Garage honor the post war Dry Lakes hotrodders, I have tons of respect for what they're all doing. I've also never ridden in a rumble seat! Thanks Jim for filming from that perspective, pretty sure that's as close as I'll ever get. Entire ride along was a hoot!

Loved the ride. My mom told me she used to love riding in her neighbor's rumble seat when she was a young girl in the '40s. Now I know what it was like sitting in the trunk with wind in your face.

I find it funny that people want to feel nostalgic about having an old car with "patina". I have some pictures of my dad back in 1936 when he was 21 with his first car, a 1933 Ford coupe. He. used to talk about getting the car all shined up so he and two of his brothers could go into town on saturday night after the farm work was done.

I loved the rumble seat shots. It brings back memories of riding in the rumble seat of my uncle's baby blue Model A as went bouncing across the fields bring the cows home. That car was a true bush buggy It expired in 1954, left at an old mill site in Beaver Valley BC. Someone picked it up and I'm still trying to track down that old family heirloom.

This was one of the most enjoyable videos I’ve ever watched. It really is a treat to see how well these cars perform with some care and attention. It’s one of the reasons I watch you two and appreciate the skills you bring to each project. As well, I’m lucky to have you both working on my car. It’s going to be truly drivable for the first time since I purchased it.

Matt and Jim you guys are awesome. You are so good together. This is your best video yet. I'm 60 years old and I have never ridden in or driven a Model A or even a model T. I always thought of Model A's as being putt putt 4 cylinders on not a V8. You would think somebody that has been a mechanic all his life would have had some experience with old Fords but I haven't. I love your garage, what a blast from the past. If you guys weren't 2,000 miles away from me I would love to visit. Lol. Can wait for Jim to get the 58 Continental finished. I love that you're going to put a larger tire in back to give it a more aggressive look. I've never thought my '30 looks at all aggressive. But hey, Clyde Barrow certainly made use of that V8 in an aggressive way, so I guess it's all about perspective and use.
