@@ruk2023-- no we have a couple old classics but a 32 Ford can handle only so much power before its uncontrollable, uncomfortable and scary even if you do the known suspension upgrades but this chassis seems very stiff, strong and handles like a vette really. What I really like about that '32 is the sound. it's not just another LS with a blower or turbo charger. It's got the old school rich burble to it combined with the manual transmission it sounds great going thru the gears without being obnoxious. I remember back in the 1970"s people started building street rods with Corvair front suspensions adapted to the '32 frame and using Jag or Corvette independent rear setups but that was before companies were building conversion kits so it was all one off stuff, some worked better than others.
That is the nicest 32 ford I've ever seen as an engineer. I am a purist, I prefer to restore cars to factory but this beauty looks like a lowered 1932. A friend of mine just finished building his dream car. Its a Brookville 32 roadster with a Merc flathead, Tremec 5 speed, Winters quick change, and spoke wheels. It looks like a 1950s hot rod. I went for a ride last week, and I'm sure it would beat you up on a long ride.
It's one of those cars that I really liked, but I figured out i probably wouldn't enjoy actually using, just like my experience owning a Harley Davidson.
Now I'm wondering if this guy's chassis would change my mind. What an awesome car. I'm here because I saw it on Bring A Trailer.
Thank you Jay for this video!!! This is the KOOLEST ROADSTER I've every seen !!! Thank you !!!
These are the car's I like to see Jay show, this is the ultimate resto mod, looks old school cool with complete driveability for a daily, would have been nice to take it up in the canyons, Rj in Oz
Sweet ride! Love the front turn signals built into the headlights!
Ya, thought the same. Sweet and cool effect
It's like he added the soul of a Porsche to a '32 Ford, well done. Thanks Jay for sharing this cool car with us.👍
What a beautiful looking car. “ flashy without being flashy”. 👍
Outstanding indeed.
just had a flash of JL doing an opening monologue when he teased about the A/C and the wife. Miss the good ole days. At least we got this! Thank you. Best car stuff out there
Beautiful car. I thought Jay's weight guess was pretty good at around 2500lbs but close to 3000lbs. Wow! I would not have guessed that heavy.
That V8 block and iron heads? But the frame and suspension probably built to NASCAR stock car racing standards, so it couldn't be light if it wanted to be. Straight 6 drivetrain probably should have been the direction but there's still V8 junkies out there, obviously. Great work on the project. Just in a 'muscle car' genre.
Coolest Hot Rod ever! Truly a dream car! Congrats on a great job Joe Kugel.
Terrific rumble. I see Jay wander in the lane but never misses a gear. Ride on.
Has to be my favorite 32!! Such a clean build, but sacrifices nothing.👍
What a machine! Looks very cool and you can see it drives beautifully, not bouncing around, a credit to Kugel!
