You have no idea how helpful, healing, and reassuring your video is.❤❤❤
Just like everyone has mentioned, your manner of explaining is amazing.
I just had my 2nd child and I'm 5 days pospartum. The first 3 days were fine, and i noticed the prolapse (either stage 2 or 3) yesterday. It sent me in a spiral of depression.
I read so many things about surgery and not beingnable to have more kids😢.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Keep posting these amazing videos and supporting women during sone if the most intense times of their lives.❤

I just had my 3rd baby and am 4 weeks postpartum… I definitely have prolapse going on, I haven’t talked to my doctor about it yet but thank you for this… I feel allot less terrified about it now. WHY isn’t this talked about more I had no idea this was a thing until I brought it up to my mom.

If prolapse is normal and common, it should be talked about more so people can better calculate whether or not having kids is worth it

I have had a hysterectomy. It was viginal. But I also had a fibroid tumor. The Dr. said it had attached itself to my bowels & colon. And he had to unattach it. Somehow in the process he tied off or clamped off a blood vein to my Urethra tube. It caused part of it to die. They then had to go back in slicing me from belly button to pubic hair.
Then the onset of being able to evacuate became a constant struggle. Been to multiple Dr's to try & get some help. Colon rectal specialists, GI Dr's. Gynecologist, Pelvic Wall floor specialists & have done the pelvic floor therapy 3 different times at 3 different places. The one where the therapist did manual therapy was the only one that helped at all. But not a whole lot of help, just a small amount. With the constant straning & chronic constipation. I feel like I have a rectal prolapse.. The last GI Dr. was like well possibly you need to have your colon removed. I don't think thats the problem. Most of the time if I use a suppository & push the what feels like a little pocket inside the rectal wall. I can manually evacuate. Sometimes there is nothing I can do but manually using the suppository & finger ( sorry grafic but the only way to explain) dig the poop out a little at a time. This process goes on multiple times a day. But I do take Linzess & 2 mag 3 capsules a day or otherwise I don't have the urge to evacuate & end up with stomach aches. I really think I have developed a rectal prolapse. And a specialist did say that one time. But later after tests he just recommended the pelvic wall therapy again. At that visit I had something going on besides the normal not able to evacuate situation. And asked him if I had a abscess, he said yes. But he was about to leave the room, without any advice what so ever on that. Until I asked him if I could get some medicine for that. He said yes, but it has to be made & your insurance probably won't pay for it. So I had to wait a couple of weeks until I could afford the medication. He was a colon rectal specialists & I had seen him at the early onset of all these issues & he just said do pelvic wall therapy. That was 2007 after the hysterectomy when all these problems started. Like immediately after the hysterectomy. I was then diagnosed with Pelvic Wall dysfunction & IBS. Which I never had either until after the surgery for hysterectomy & the surgery to repair the Urethra tube, the clamping of the blood vein caused part of it to die & they cut the dead out & spliced it back togather. I will never forget what the Urologist said, he did that surgery. You are a attractive woman you can go on with a normal life! What the hell does that have to do with anything. The Obstrition said never forget you had way more surgery than a normal hysterectomy. I have asked him serval times what that meant. And he pretty much pretends he meant nothing. And sent me to the pelvic wall specialist Dr. He was arrogant, just like the Colon Rectal specialists. It's been along awful way to live. And killed my quality of life. I don't know where to go to get any help. I'm getting older & don't really know how much longer I can keep having to manually evacuate. I'm 67 years old now & I spend most of my day trying to evacuate a horrible way to live really. Any advice & the type of Dr. I should go to, would be greatly appreciated. The GI Dr's. No help, The OBGYN No help, the pelvic wall specialist no help. So I really don't know where to go from here. They all give me the same tests over & over & say everything is fine, but do pelvic wall therapy & you will be fine. Not but I don't know what else to do. Help?

I am 4 weeks postpartum and I just started feeling the bulge, heaviness weird sensation. The first two weeks I was fine and didn’t feel nothing. Everything seemed normal. This video gives me hope that I have a possibility that my body would heal on its own. I did go to my OB last week and he said everything looked normal and said to see him back in 3 weeks. I just been so depressed because of the feeling down there it mentally affects me. Because I and overthinking that I would never be back to normal. It almost feels like so much pressure and if I have a uti but it’s definitely something that prolapsed down there. I just don’t understand how the first two weeks I was fine. I hope this gets better. I really really hope my body gets back to normal.

Having 2 10 lb baby girls naturally back to back, yes it sucks. It isn’t pretty, and sensations are not the same. Luckily, at least time does heal and there are things to do to manage. I created a red clover tincture that helps with increasing estrogen and started using kegel balls. My beautiful daughters got the best start into this world, I would not have traded that for anything. It comes with the many sacrifices of being a mother.

I am 25. I had a full-thickness rectal prolapse just attempting to go to the bathroom. I guess I strained too much, but I have also learned, since, that I have pelvic floor dysfunction, and that it was caused exacerbated by my stress-induced IBS.
I've been doing pelvic physiotherapy, and my back pain and swelling from the prolapse have been getting better, but sometimes i have flare-ups of pain and swelling. The surgeon was really dismissive about my condition, saying that having chronic hemorrhoids is normal.
I have an area in the front of my rectum that droops a tiny bit when I stand, and it has really been affecting me mentally. I have never even been intimate. I am in a serious relationship and planning to get married next year. I worry that this will be with me forever. I'm scared of intimacy, due to this, and that if I ever have kids, my condition will get even worse. I'm looking for some hope.😢

    Hello, thankyou for you video.
I have just realised that I likely have a grade 3 prolapse, I gave birth 12 days ago to my 3rd child and have the dragging sensation, issues having bowel movements and the feeling of my vaginal wall at my vaginal entrance. I've even had pain and struggled to walk at times which has been difficult to deal with, as I want to be active and feel some normality in my life again.
At such an emotionally and physically intense time this video has helped put my mind at ease today and I will be getting a formal diagnosis on Monday then searching for a good pelvic floor physiotherapist here is Australia.
I actually believe that I had signs if prolapse 3 weeks prior to my waters breaking, I remember feeling as though my vagina had suddenly changed and at the time convinced myself that maybe it was normal and bub had finally dropped but when Labor started (2.5 weeks early) I soon learnt that she had not dropped at all and was sitting really high up in my womb, which was super confusing and disheartening during my labor induction.
Anyway I just wanted to say thanks for the information and support 😊
I'm sure in a few days I'll have some questions for you.
    Kind regards Peta ✨️

I've had a bladder prolapse with two of my deliveries. They were both natural beautiful births. Midwives provided lots of warm compresses and counter pressure during the pushing phase which really helped. I also avoided squatting positions for pushing. Either side lying or on hands and knees. One of the births was a water birth which is good for prolapse too. No need to fear! Hope this helps!

I would love to have some reassurance, this video was amazing but I made what would have been a grade 3 prolapse into a grade 4 I think.
At 3 days post-partum, I thought I felt a huge blood clot coming out, it felt bigger than a golf ball. So I called my midwife urgently to ask what to do, and she said it will come out and just to give a push. I hung up, gave a push, then panicked as it still wasn't coming out. So I tried to pull it out (tearing up now as I think of the consequences of my mistake).
It was a prolapse and not a blood clot at all. I cannot stand up without it all falling out again, looking at infographics online, it looks like a grade 4 now. I am so beyond devastated and frustrated at myself for what I did.
My midwife said to wait out the 6 weeks, and she said not to wear a prolapse belt and that I wouldn't be able to get a pessary either, when I asked about these.
I am desperate as I can barely get out of bed to feed baby without it falling, and I have a 6yo to take care of too. She said there is nothing I can do, it just has to heal. But will it heal?

Thanks for your video! Very helpful, especially visually showing it all (helps to visualise everything down there). :)
Hopefully someone can relate to this, I have a postpartum grade 2 bladder prolapse and I’m seeing a Pelvic floor physio for it. From online and my physio, there’s hope my symptoms will minimise and I’ll be able to live everyday life normally (☺️). My physio, like you mentioned my body is still recovering from pregnancy/childbirth (15 weeks PP).
BUT I can’t find online success stories of those that were very physically active before pregnancy and were able to go back to their sports and physical activities after having a prolapse post partum.
I used to run and play field hockey and dance. I can’t do any of it right now. I know it’s early days but with the prolapse my hopes have diminished.
I’ve been told I can walk and do Pilates. I’m doing my pelvic floor exercises.
I just can’t run, jump or do anything high impact (everything I love to do)
Anyway, do you/anybody know of any success stories of people recovering/managing their prolapse and going back to high impact sports? 😢🤞

Can a prolapse be reversed? I did some breathing exercises whilst STANDING UP today (im 3weeks postpartum) . And also I was sitting at my dining table for dinner and it started to feel like some pressure or bulging while I was sitting . I looked and it looks like something may be peeking in the vaginal opening. I guess my question is , Can sitting , or doing a breathing exercise cause it to prolapse?
