- Brassed and weighted! In this run, I tested the newly installed official RGT hop up parts like the brass differential covers and the inner portal covers for both front and rear. The wheels are metal alloys. Everything else is stock. I got these from Ali Express.
The truck did well I was very impressed. Now I have a very capable budget trail crawler. It can take on serious rock climbs and obstacles.
For the tires I used the Proline BFGs in predator compound, I might try out different tires like the Proline BFG Krawler in G8. I might aso try different foams for experimentation with a heavy rig like this one. I also have ordered hair bun donuts LOL and give it a shot!

Could be that I love the RGT LC 76 and it’s behaviour .. equal to TRX-4 but better in the suspension - school perfect🥳

Nice video. I’ve really been enjoying my RGT. I use the hairbuns in some of my tires and they do work well imo .. they can be a bit fussy to install.

I’ve just received my black Rescuer, inspired to make it scale I got the Proline Interco TrXus (G8 compound) - 114mm I diameter - looks very scale. I’m amazed with the grip on these tires, even in dry fine grained snow! RGT black alloys on the way. And ah; I put the Hobbywing 1080 G2 in today - Yay! amazingly better low end control! Take care 🤙
Yes too soft those preds. I have reinstalled the stock RGT baja tires with the oem plastic wheels, no issues and pretty content with it at the moment. I installed the rgt brass diff covers and brass portal covers it now climbs and sidehills like a boss 💪👌😂 RGT ftw bro! Cheers man! 🙏🙏🙏👊🤩
@@rcjono Considering some Gmade steelies I have, those are heavy😳. Still, the stock tires are very good too. Yup, the brass diff covers look better than the red plastic ones as well. Great videoing and off-roading - still winter here 🥶

@@rcjono cheers, the rig looks pretty slick blacked out like that too, i just ordered the sand coloured version and the only thing i could see that it needed was an interior. Glad i can get one for it.
