Man I still remember when that y hose connector cracked right in the Burger King drive thru 😅 luckily a mobile mechanic was right being me and plugged one side with a bolt so i could make it back home !! Good times 😀
The 1,8T engine in 18:30min is probably a enginecode aum, because of the newer headcover and the newer transmission. The cracked plastic peace is also used in the 1,8T.
I use all metal t pieces from Home Depot that fits the hoses so i get rid of all plastic connections for that common problem then put the hose on and clamp it Have done it on all my cars mk3 mk4 because the plastic t fitting connectors always break
Lol That same piece snapped while changing the plastic upper radiator hose going to the firewall on my Mk5 R32, these plastic pieces just get brittle over time even found a broken T-Connector, they've held up over time I suppose but very fragile to heat, I'm at 139k miles.
Saludos Christian!
My heater core hose blew up on me and i went months looking for a replacement and a t fitting . Drove me crazy till i finally found one similar . Then i sold my car lol😂
It has a reason, this part snapped off., Christian. You are using a total wrong clamp on this little hose. The only one's that suited these hoses right, are the springloaded, oem ones. With the srewed style, you're messing it up again. Happy Holiday
Merry Christmas you guys 🎄🎁 We might have a surprise video tomorrow lol
Merry Christmas Christian! 🎉 🎄
That's the most beautiful Jetta wagon I've ever seen in my life
Id love to see this channel hit 100k
Slowly but surely we are heading that way! Haha
Such an underrated VW Channel . I watch everytime you upload.

Merry Xmas to you too bro
Same fitting snapped on my BMP GLI at only 66k miles. Crazy how the longevity varies so differently on some of these plastic parts.
Dude it’s crazy. Idk why that one just seems to be such a weak point. Definitely looking into getting a metal replacement for it.
I know theres someone that sells metal fittings for the cooling system. They should hold a little longer😉
We need more Mr.Smith vids nowadays we be missing them daily uploads😢
Merry Christmas, Christian! 🎅
Merry Christmas brother! God bless you!

Me paso en el 2litros y en el vr6 los cambiaba al año para las sorpresas pero se las conseguí en metal problema resuelto. 💪🤙🏼
definitely a common problem, i’ve replaced it twice on my vr6
I think the 1.8t one is almost the same and you can get it in metal so it looks like that’s the move if it’s the right size.
How much did the junkyard charge for that part? Was it more than the new uro part cost?
Is it not possible to buy a new head gasket and other parts for this Volkswagen and repair it? Where do you live? Is this the African wilderness?
How is Martin these days? It feels like a decade ago you did this engine with him

Its something special thing to have cars that are payed of. Instead of having lambos and ferraris that you are leasing like other youtubers have..
Lol making assumptions make an ass out of you
Merry Christmas. 🎄 RickGTI….. 🌴
The white dodge hatchbacks have a VW 1.7 8 valve.

hello joyeux noel a toi et longue route a tes autos !!!
It’s was T connection for me off of the throttle body
It looks like the same as the one on a 18 20v t
That’s what I was thinking. Just. It sure if the outlets are the same size I have to check.
