Inflation’s equally odious and obnoxious cousin is shrinkflation. Shrinkflation is what companies do when they don’t want to violently rub their balls in your face directly by raising prices. Instead they offer up the gentle teabagging of giving you less product, for the same price.

When ppl are stealing and nobody’s buying because tv scared everyone with a rumor of inflation, what do you expect businesses to do ? Things are rotting away cause nobody’s buying and ppl that are stealing are taking the goods from the ppl that actually would buy

Its not theft, its because retailers are charging too much, and people have no choice to take items for free.

The retailers have taken so much loan from the banks and they failed to pay back their loan and interest, so they are increasing the prices and using theft as an excuse.

How about doing a story on price gouging?

How about a story on people refusing to work for $17 an hour, which contributes to higher wages, higher inflation, thus price gouging

Bad reporting. Shrink, and retail theft are not synonymous. There are many reasons why inventory could go missing, besides theft by shoplifters.

Cheering and advocating crime only makes things worse and doesn't solve anything, basic economics proves that. And even for price increases, a lot of that isn't the corporation's fault. That is mainly the government. Even for stuff like food, food has to be shipped through trucking and ships. Biden's admin increased fuel taxes which made that more costly forcing the producers to increase prices. Then rampant inflation is forcing the companies to keep their prices high which the government kept printing and also enabled all sorts of speculation in our economy and now we have to keep inflation under control to make the prices stable.
A lot of the retailers weren't price gouging, but therefore had to keep prices high because of the current government managing the economy irresponsibly. Even small grocery stores had to increase prices because the fuel and carbon taxes forced the producers to increase prices to make up for the loss. Even though I am a believer in climate change, taxing stuff won't change it but technology will. Most of the causes have come from the government and the current leadership, not companies.
If you disagree otherwise, you are always welcome to start a business and try to not price gouge and see how you can not fall into the negatives when the cost to produce has become higher due to inflation.

After losing so much to stock market, One best investment decision I ever made afterwards was investing in crypto markets. Which has earned me $34,970 profit every 14days lately. Trust me guys it pays a lot.
