I purchased this recently after watching your review. The $47.99 price tag is a steal with the features this suspension trainer provides vs other expensive brands! 💪🏼💪🏼
This is the first piece of purchase complete equipment that has me seriously curious about buying. As you already know, the homemade Prussik Trainer 2.0 you made a couple of years ago is still my favorite thing to use. However, this is the first thing that appears to finally be able to replace that. Thank you for the review and recommendation. Stay safe, keep progressing, and have a peaceful evening.
I know what you mean, I love the rope trainers, and DIY is so very satisfying, but there's also something to be said for a commercially designed and produced piece of equipment.
@@RedDeltaProject I just bought this. The great thing was I had problems with PayPal and the cc and called the company. Wolfgang answered before the finish of the 2nd ring and immediately logged into his payments system to help. All of this was done within the 1st 5m or less. To make a long story short, he was fast, friendly, courteous, efficient, effective, and informative and helped me on my end as we walked through the process together. This is the best customer service I ever have received anywhere, at any time! It was genuine and humbling and inspirational. This experience really changed my day and I am eager to pay it forward! Thanks for the great video and recommendation.
As always good video Matt. I purchased 1 of these about 2 months ago. Hands down the best suspension trainer I've ever used, Lifeline Jungle Gym XT was my favorite but I like the NOSSK even better and their shipping was super fast. You are my favorite fitness channel and I appreciate all the great info you put out.
Great to hear! I've always been a fan of the Life Line stuff too, the original Jungle Gym from teh early 2000's was one of my favorite designs of all time. Super simple and portable.
Agreed! My goto has been the Jungle Gym XT but got the NOSSK a couple of weeks ago. It's great, every bit as versatile as the XT but a big bonus for me, it's a lot more portable than the XT AND less expensive too. Only heard of it because of Matt's review.
Mine just arrived and I trained with them for the first time today. I love them! The grip is thick, so it really works my forearms. I can train my muscles without wrist pain. They were cheap. They are easy to set up and very portable.
As always i know you are a busy man and i don't want to interrupt your life BUT I really appreciate your efforts and quick response. THANK YOU VERY MUCH
And I know you're busy too Reg, which is why I always super appreciate you taking the time to check out my videos. Your time is super valuable, which is why I'll always push myself to make my videos all the better for you
I love suspension training. Its the first exerises program I truly enjoy. Combined with yoga and a few other exercises my body feels like its on the right track. I have a TRX and one property it has is the center loop on the Y which provides a bit more instability on toop of the single point Y connection. I feel this provides a bit more controlled balance training along with the rest. Perhaps a personal preference but wanted to add that to the conversation. Again thanks for your work. Nuch appreciated. =Cosmo
Thank you for the video. I loved your video so much that I ordered this item from Nossk right away. I indicated in comments to my order to give you the credit. I hope they will do.
I was just about to purchase this item until I saw their Cyclone pulley trainer. I really like the instability part of the pulley. Have you (or anyone else reading this) used the Cyclone pulley trainer? I have olympic rings already to the suspension trainer is very close to it so using the pulley would switch things up.
I have, its certainly a unique challenge, I find for pushing movements too. The best thing about it is using it for unilateral pushing and pulling motions, like rows and push-ups. It makes those exercises much more accessible since the stability aspect is lower due to the fact you're still using both sids, but only pushing or puling with one.
I like the idea of the built-in door anchor, but it looks like it should be a little thicker, unless it is extra firm. Any issues with the size of it? Everything else about it looks great.
it's a decent size and it's made from pretty firm plastic so it holds very well. If you're using a door with a gap in the top, sort of like a door in an old house or something, you can also cinch the two loops together and that forms a much bigger knot that works as well.
Do you prefer to rings? So where do you get anchors like you showed. So how long is each strap and is that long enough or can you purchase an extension?
Yep, I find them to be more versatile and ergonomic. The anchors are built into the straps. Each strap extends to about 8 feet long, maybe 7 feet. You can get an extension that's an 8' loop on the NOSSK site
It's not hard to see if they are level since the adjustment buckles are right near the handles. So when you move the buckles it's easy to see/ feel if the buckles are the same height. and if the buckles are the same height then the handles will be as well.
Was on the fence about purchasing this item since I currently am using gymnastic rings, but these seem to be ergonomically friendly, My main concern is do the handles rotate? Cause I don't like them over rotating I like to have a stable base when I'm pushing or even pulling.
I bought ones after watching your video, just waiting for them to be delivered. Couldnt find the red ones you have, may be they made it specially for you.
Just a question for anyone doing CC, more precisely the pull-up and bodyweight rows, Paul Wade sets a progression of 3*30, that just doesn't seem realistic to me, have any of you done it? Thanks for any input.
I think Paul Wade's point is just that you should become really comfortable with the exercise before you progress the technique. I don't think the exact number of reps matters that much.
Going to give you some affiliate love. Have you used there cyclone system What do you think about that pully set up? Nice video. I used to have the jungle gym xt years ago. I have found suspension training some of the best for us morbidly obese folks.
I haven't yet, although I did make a pull style suspension set up years ago, but never really used it. Gonna have to get on that soon. And I agree, suspension straps make bodyweight training so much more accessible for everyone
Hi Matt, do you think it is feasible to do pull-ups with the NOSSK Twin Trainer attached to a doorway pull-up bar or to a pretty low tree branch? During the video you don't perform any pull up exercise, so I am wondering if the only way to do it is to attach the Twin Trainer to a high anchoring point.
Oh sure, just bend your knees, which Is a great way to do pull-ups. But if you have that low of an anchor point, you very well may be jut doing pull-ups off that, like that doorway pull-up bar instead.
Hey Matt, I have the Nossk RT-17 and Nossk Twin Pro. Do you think that it is a waste to have both? With each one which is best for certain situations such as being at home with door anchor, at gym, or outside? I am.asking because I have no experience with suspension trainers. I would appreciate your input
Hey, I bought this system and it's really good except for the fact that I have one of those door frame pull up bars. It's pretty low so I can't pull the straps right enough to make the handles short enough for dips. They're too low to the ground and the straps can't get shorter than a certain length. Does anyone know a work around for this? Love the channel btw. Really upped my workout. Got two of the books as well.
They aren't removable, but there is an adjustment hack I figured out where if you push the handles through the space above the handles, it shortens the loops making them ideal for smaller feet or when barefoot.
To a degree, overall, they are very similar so it's more about coming down to personal preference. Personally, I prefer the twin trainer when hanging the straps off of something like a bar or at the playground.
The monkii bars have better handles, and the ergonomics are different from wither a single strap or an A style strap system, which some people prefer on e over the other. Overall, the monk bars have a more polished and well put together feel to them, while these are more of a classic parts-off-the-shelf feel. Not bad, but not quite as refined either
@@RedDeltaProject hm i am looking for something like the gymnastics rings to do pullups and dips, as they can be really hard to bring around. but I am still unsure of which is better etc, I have a pocket monkii at home but they just cant do what the rings or monkii bars do for dips. with that said they are quite expensive.
Hi Matt, would also be curious for your thoughts on this vs. the RT-17. Are there any advantages to the RT-17 other than price, or would you recommend this one in all other respects? worth noting i'll be carrying the system in a backpack to an outdoor calisthenics gym that I bike to.
It's sort of a personal preference thing. The twin trainer is best if you like using one strap of things like archer push ups and rows, but the RT 17 is an easier set up and adjustment. That on may be easier for the portability you're using it for

Suspension trainers are not ideal for advanced leg exercises. You need to graduate to building the strength to perform glute ham raises. Next time you are at your gym use the lat pulldown seat to anchor your heels and get a real glute, cafe, hamstring, and spinal erector exercise.
@@RedDeltaProject Maybe if you do one at a time. I still feel that GHR is the king leg-pulling exercise. Every serious calisthenic enthusists should add this to their leg routine.
@@RedDeltaProject I agree with you Matt! A really steep angle on an overhead hip hinge can be pretty darn challenging on the posterior chain and you'll involve more muscle with the overhead motion.
I got mine early this year and I LOVE IT. You definitely chose a great piece of equipment to put your name behind. Subscribed for life.
