You are truly a rare player and right on par with these legendary musicians! Thank you so much!

Deception 100 I was growing up watching a lot of the rockhouse method stuff since I didn't have the opportunity for a long time to use tabs or Google stuff. So I watched those over and over again and tried to improve my playing and techniques with bodom songs since this was available for me. It helped a lot. Hence I also started to work around other songs and solos with techniques I learned through these videos. Since I didnt have a guitar teacher because I was too poor and literally in this rural area there was no one around who could teach me electric guitar like this, I started to go to concerts analyzing guitar players live, went home and stuff I saw. The same for the rockhouse method DVDs, I started to copy what I saw, what other people did. This is how I learned all this shit. Also due to my bands we play alot of 80s and 90s rock and metal, which is kinda close to his stuff too. The influence is very strong though and I can't deny it. Even though his picking hand is slightly different due to holding his pick in a slightly different way. And he was waaaaay better at picking than I'll ever be. Thank you very much!
@@Dignityofficial_ yeah its just wild man, like please do not think any offense of this but IMO for such a famous guitar player his staccato picking has a very distinct look. I had that same video too back in like 2002, but I also was using rock discipline and guitars from mars and michael romeo guitar chapter ETC (thanks Kazaa). Cheers to the great playing.

Dude I’ve been an Alexi fan for 20 years now. I agree with your solo pics I love each one you did. You play flawless perfect. I’ve been playing guitar 28 years and Metallica pantera bodom been my influences and you play it so well. Very impressed and great choices. Rock on dude. Keep them coming
Amazing tribute!❤️. He will be missed 😢. Unfortunately I found out over a year late, had no clue. A life cut short, unfortunately we won't be able to see what he really could've achieved, collabs or the new project. Definitely his legacy will live on, he had an amazing gift. This is the best tribute I've found, you're an amazing artist! 👏
My first COB song I heard was "If you want peace prepare for war" and I was hooked on their stuff ever since that. Lots of good shredding and heavy riffing this band was a gold mine for just good heavy stuff that you can put on any album of.
@@DaniTheDead yes i absolutely do. Still need to tune down a guitar for the new stuff, but i absolutely want to cover some more solos. Just for like my imaginary bucket list. I take a note on these two! But since RRF is my all-time favorite album, i guess I have to cover each one anyway haha.
@@DaniTheDead definitely! I never reaaaally understood the hate it got. But i only can guess. The mix is way off standard metal recordings (but i absolutely love the mix on that album, killer job!) and the overall song structures and writings are a bit chaotic, but in a good way. Nothing except not my funeral got that "catchy" riff/melody from the start. You gotta listen to it over and over again to appreciate what they came up with. In more casual terms: it's too complicated to "just listen and relax", you gotta listen to it carefully. But that's just my observation i did over the years. Most people can't even articulate why they dislike certain things. They just do.
I love the fact you give time to all of the albums throughout your videos. Many people solely focus on the first three, but I really do like them all. It's nice to see!
Still didn't play any of the latest two albums yet. But damn. I really don't want to tune guitars down to drop B haha. Yeah. To be fair. I love each and every album. There wasn't a bad album, for me at least.
Absolutely phenomenal playing man, you crushed every single solo and added the flair that I dont thin Alexi was given enough credit for. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for you lovely words 💜 i hope it will get better.
Glad you popped up in my feed! Damn fine job on these bangers, kissing the shadows is still a standout, that things nasty. I don't think there is really a way to choose "the best" solo, however there is one that still stands out to me to this day, I don't know what he was feeling in the studio that day, but you know it was something heavy, when recording the solo for All for Nothing. Truly beautiful.
I’m late af, but I must say loved every second of it!! The list should be top 100 because I loved every single note he made, but joke aside kudos to the guitarist, you rock! Also, I remember when Chester passed away, the way he died and all, it hit me hard, but I have never in all my life hurt so bad as when Alexi passed… even to this day every now and then I just cry nonstop while listening to CoB.. he was my favorite musician after all…
I was at work, and I got messages from a couple people suddenly...and they said, yo alexi died, and I was like noooooooooooooooooo. Was a shitty day. But so many people reached out, even people i forgot about. Still. Shitty day.
Absolutely devastating loss for the music scene. Like i get it, there were far more superior musicians in terms of "crazyness" eg Jason Richardson BUT alexi was able to make really good songs, harmonies, structures, technicality etc. It was just perfect that mix of a really good song in general and his playing style and techniques. Truly a big loss. Still hurts and I guess it will always do.
Dude I fully agree with your description, all of these solos give me the feeling "I need to learn it". Awesome playing, nice tone and two beautiful guitars. Great job dude! Hopefully I'll be able to learn most of these solos this year. I just started to play guitar consistently. I've had a guitar for like 4 years but I have always been super on/off with it. Basically playing for 2 days to a week and then not even touching it for months. I just decided to pick it back up a few weeks ago after not playing for almost 8 months or something like that. Feeling really inspired to learn all the bodom stuff right now. Have a good day man!
Someone who reads descriptions! Haha. Nice to hear that you feel the same about those solos. Hope you're able to pull it off this year! Practice and playing is just so satisfying and beautiful, I'm glad you getting a tighter schedule. And that's I'm all about. This channel is just for the purpose to entertain people and maybe motivate some to pick up their guitar more regularly and start having fun with that. Your comment really really makes my day and I appreciate it very much. Have a lovely day 💜 and hopefully a much better year guitar wise!
Oh no, i missed the live premiere ... because i had to work🤪 Well my dear you made an awesome last video for 2021, a fuckn great tribute to Alexi!👍🏻🖤 I always enjoy your Vids and I like you a lot!🤗 Wish you the best for the next year... stay strong and keep on rocking! 💜🤘🏻
First I was confused why 10 solos takes so long (7 minutes 39s sounds more like 15 solos) but then I realised you're crazy enough to learn Kissing The Shadows, probably the hardest solo among CoB songs? The sweep picking on that one is hella difficult IMO. Among my favorite solos you included one (Bodom Beach Terror), but I also love Are You Dead Yet (for good and unique sound) and the Touch Like Angel Of Death live Japan version (Tokyo Warhearts).
Damn, you destroyed that sh!t. Very impressive work my man, keep it up. Also, thumbs up for putting Kissing the shadows on nr.1, I personaly think that one is the best solo from all of their albums. Also, the end of The Nail is very nice, maybe include that one next time!
That's a great tribute to Alexi from you. Excellent job! I moved to Spain last NOV, but visited Finland (my mom's homeland) for Christmas. Couldn't help it, I made "a pilgrimage" to Alexi's grave(took some flowers with me and left them there) and also to his residence in Vuosaari, where, unfortunately, he passed away. This had a very emotional effect on me, esp visiting his grave. Anyways, If you had to choose to play one COB solo in public, what would it be? I know I'm asking a lot, but this really interests me. Awesome combo of Alexi's "immortal" solos and you covered them excellently. Happy new year to you! ✨ Keep up the good work & videos, I always watch them, most often several times a video. All the best ♥️ te mando un fuerte abrazo! Saludos desde Las Palmas, España 💜
Oh that sounds lovely. Hope you still had a great time! Happy new year to you too! That's so great to hear that you appreciate the stuff that i do, its really lovely to hear. Thank you for that! 🙏🏻💜 One solo in public? Hm. That's tough and depends i guess. I mean kissing the shadows is a killer guitar solo but you can mess up alot along the way. So I actually got to go with the not my funeral solo. It's soooo well written and not that tough to play live. So yeah. I guess it would be not my funeral.
@@Dignityofficial_ Both solos are great choices! Hope one day we'll see your version of...'kissing the shadows' lol...practice, practice and...practice 😁 (don't take any pressure, just kidding. Tho I'm sure you can do it). Have a nice week! 💜
@@Dignityofficial_ Oh yeah damn right... the year went by so fast! Such a big loss, he had the gift of handling all that music stuff so that great compositions came out... that's what stays with us forever!💜🤘🏻

One solo in public?
Fuck... One Year and it still hurts so much! 😭🖤🤘🏻
(Freu mich schon sehr auf's Video... Dankeschön dafür mein lieber.💜)
Yeah. Already one year. Feels like i made the mistake to blink and a year passed.
@@Dignityofficial_ Oh yeah damn right... the year went by so fast!
Such a big loss, he had the gift of handling all that music stuff
so that great compositions came out... that's what stays with us forever!💜🤘🏻
Tie My Rope is such an underrated solo of his. Very difficult to play
Definitely. And everything about this is so counterintuitive. It's amazing.
Fuckin missing him.
we all do...so sad
Surprised to not see that cool string skipping bit in Little Bloodred
That is a really cool part!

Thank you so much 💜🙏🏻
