Great playing and great selection ! My all-time favorite Alexi solos are Sixpounder and of course Not My Funeral. I'm glad they're both included in your list, although Not My Funeral should definitely be #1 in the list !

I've owned half a dozen things by Lee Jackson and none of them were great. He even made some pedals about 20 years ago and they too sounded like garbage. And the joke is, he even covered them in that gluey-goop, so nobody could copy the designs 😂 Wouldn't own anything by Lee Jackson even if it were free, but if you happen to be lucky and own something he made that works, then rock-on 👍

I personally bought one of the SL27 concepts from sweetwater, there was a hole in the finish on the top of the body, and the trem block scrapped against the metal cavity cover when pulling back on the bar, so I sent it back in for a replacement. The replacement showed up with issues on the binding, and had the same issue with the trem block scraping against the metal cavity cover, so I said screw it and returned it. Super dissapointed. For that price point, those guitars better be in top shape.

Well, I've always been a Jackson fan but I guess I will never see a perfect mass manufactured RR from them. 2000€ for a Floyd Rose 1000, an afterburner, and a fretboard which look like rosewood.... naaah Even the Japanese RR24 didn't had the white binding on the neck. But it was 2008 and they were sold for something around 1400€.. Good old times.

This tone is so close and great. How did you get it. I have pretty ,much an exact replica of Alexi's rig and I can't get it to sound like his tone.

At that pricepoint i'd buy an Edwards....which I did lol (Pink Sawtooth). I think it is a very nice guitar, I am more of an Ebony fretboard lover though. And I honestly do agree with you that Jackson should absolutely bring back a stone/CoB line with JE-1000 gainbooster. Not only for accessibility but it is just good bussiness. but this pricepoint is absolutely way to much and the fact that it does not even come with a hardshell case is a real dealbreaker if you are on the fence about it. I actually own a Limited Edition RR2' B/Y bevel one that I made a Wildchild replica of; gold hardware and J50BC + JE1000 (RR480 clone on UM forum back in 2014). I did all but the sticker haha. it Is one of my most prized guitars. retail it was €1300. 2nd hand you could find the regular RR24's for €800-ish. and they were MiJ, just shows how insane prices have gotten!

I grew up listening to them. Every single day since I was like 12 or 13. That was like 20 years ago almost. I really really like the solo In the song. It's not as advanced as others, but it's very simple and effective and has a dark vibe to it. I don't like anything else about the song, but the solo is fantastic to me.

I have the black and red and the white and black RR24 Pros. By far my favorite guitars.

The guitar looks great, has so many turn offs, mainly top mount FR... BUT, it's got Alexis's soul in it 😊

own the white RR24HS and the new RR24FR....and i like them! well built, well sound, awesome playability and kickass looking. I think it's a good kind a tribute to Alexi. i fully agree - emg+ab=shit i don't use AB. Also i don't like the preamp on my JJackson Stars RRJ2SP.

Great breakdown- Were there any whole amps that had a very similar, eq-before-gain design, made by lee jackson? I have heard the Crate Stealth amps were Lee jackson , but not sure if they are that similar or not to the GP1000
