The delay could be fixes with settings. Try to change the inner and outer steering deadzones in the advanced controller settings found in any Motorsport / Horizon game. My budget wheel allows me to switch sensitivity on 3 levels, aside from in game settings.

I started out with a Logitech wheel then I switched to the higher end thrust master 300rs GT that comes with 3 peddles witch I upgraded and better force feedback than the tmx I pair it with a thrust master shifter and eBay hand break. If u don’t want to get a whole new wheel just upgrade the peddles because if I remember correctly it only come with 2. Setup probs sick and keep on sim racing bois

I’d say if you really are on a tight budget and this is all you can get then sure it dosent seem bad but I would say a very good beginner and even permanent setup would be one of the Logitech wheels or something in that range and a shifter too and a good stand with a seat that’s pretty cheap can improve the experience tremendously
I bought a Logitech momo used for $50, full force feedback, 270 degrees of rotation which is more than enough for most sims, just not as good as a full 900, and no delay at all. If you're on a budget, get a used wheel.
Actually it's not a delay, the thing is that these steering wheels and its pedals have potentiometers fixed to them which measure the exact movement of the axis to which the wheel and pedals are connected. In this wheel, I *think* that there are buttons or just connecters instead of potentiometers which mean tht when the button is pushed or the connecter has joined a signal for full turn or full throttle or brake is sent.... It's pretty much like full left or nothing, full right or nothing, full throttle or nothing full brake/reverse or nothing... I thought of buying these options too but at 50 dollars it's just not worth it, instead I went to make it myself which is 10 times better at around the same price and it'll even provide strong and accurate ffb, I would suggest the same for anyone else too

As I said there are a few ways to make it but I'll be using Arduino as the base to make it. It'll will most certainly require some reasearch and knowledge of but if you have a lot of free time u can u understand it within a week itself. I've had the knowledge and practice of these things for a couple years now so things are comparatively easy for me. But the good thing for any newbie trying to build it is tht you don't have to do anything that doesn't already exist, all files and softwares and connections and templates already exist. But I still suggest that you put in atleast a few weeks of reasearch in this topic possibly a month. The one that I'm building is a ffb(force feedback) wheel and it's overall cost for me would be abt 50-60dollars Including pedals. If u chose to build the same one as me you would very much wanna be aware of a certain things such as choosing the correct programming board and the power supply, these are the two most important things especially the power supply, you do not wanna fry your circuit so be sure of what you're doing and if ur not u can ask utubers who upload tutorials on this(try with small utubers they usually tend to respond more) or if youd like u can ask me itself here... That second delay looks more like the dead zone settings for steering is set above zero. It is very possible it is the wheel though as you get what you pay for.

Depending on where you live a driving force GT can be had for 30$. A G25/27 can be found for 50-100$. Both of them have ffb and you can resell them for roughly the same since they don't lose any more value. I'd go with a G27. 3 pedal set and a H pattern shifter. It was my first wheel. Got it for 70$ used.
