Broski try American truck. It’s got less customisations but is cooler in my opinion. Though sadly the older ui on both games was amazing. Plus does this wheel come any optional shifter upgrade on purchase?

There's typically about 20k people in truck sims on Steam every day at any time.
@@IgnitionP it’s honestly pretty chill to get on and do some heavy hauls and stuff. Definitely with how big and diverse the ATS map is. Plus mods add a whole new world of fun

@@randomazedhouse4154 being legally blind doesn’t mean they can’t see at all. By definition they can’t see at 6m what someone with normal vision can see at 60m. Alternatively they can have an extremely narrow field of vision.
@@randomazedhouse4154 Theres so many sight probles that makes you unable to legaly drive a car, from severe myopia, Hyperopia to "just" a Nystagmus. There is so much in to it, that this kind of question makes you kind of dumb.

Some people get paid more doing something else than truckers (at least starting wage truckers) or actually wanna see their family and friends regularly. Turning it into a job would take the fun out of it immediately especially when something breaks going down the road. Sim trucking is fun and relaxing. Nice way to pass time with a movie or something. Real trucking, sometimes fun, almost never relaxing since everybody drives like trash

ETS and ATS support VR natively you just have to type a command into the launch properties
Taxi Life is perfect with this
No VR sadly in ETS2 if you play TruckersMP (online multiplayer), third party mods only get you pancake VR (2D). But it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make 😅
@ChristopherWoods ets2 definately has vr support. I think its a version in the betas page.

I know someone that got their Commercial Driving License because they played 200 hours of ATS and figured they may as well get paid for it.
Bro, I literally have 1500hrs between ATS and ETS, and I'm still contemplating getting my license. I can even float gears with ease.
@@RPS13DRlFT average pay for a long haul driver in the US is like 70k a year. My dad did it when my brother and I were kids. If you don't have kids, it's a good way to bank money. Also, if you get your CDL, wherever you might be, it's good to hold onto in case you ever need money or get laid off from your job. If you're thinking about it, just do it bro.

This Moza wheel is pretty sick. I've heard about it, watched some reviewed and even got to test it from a friend with my personal preferences but I also had a look at the Hori Wheel for trucks that is new. I honestly think that the Moza wheel is a great deal, but with the amount of realism that makes the sim feel like driving a real truck, the gear shifter with all those buttons and the very good pedals and steering wheel (plus free ETS2 and ATS!), I'd get the Hori wheel.
In the end, it is up to personal choice and if you like the Moza wheel, that is a very sensible opinon and have fun with it! Also enjoy another subscriber!

@@maarten3225 I would probably have to see it in person to test out it's real quality but SCS has already said that the wheel and everything else it comes with is pretty good quality. It probably comes with more stuff than Moza Truck Wheel. I'm just worried about the small buttons on the Hori behind the gearshifter. I understand that the Moza has better ForceFeedback (that's what people tell me) but with everything you get with the Hori wheel, I think it's worth it.
@@PinguPenguin-BMWM Might be worth noting that Hori's wheel is a geared system, like the G29, and when I owned that wheel I could actually feel the gears when turning the wheel small amounts. THe moza uses direct drive and so although it has less buttons, would give a smoother, more realistic feel.
@@LWDAdnane I actually agree and I see what you mean which I have noticed with the Moza wheel. That probably would provide a more realistic experience and there are some nice gear shifters and other accessories that come with the Moza truck setup. In the end I think it ends up with personal preference but for other people out there as well, I would think a lot about what you get from each setup such as you can control everything you really need in ATS and ETS2 when you are trucking but the Moza wheel is a bit less complicated and has a great force-feedback system.

Now if there any actual "sim" trucking games. Ones where you actually have to sit there and travel long distances in a 1:1 world (or maybe 1:5 at the most).
At that point just become a truck driver and at least earn real money. Nobody wants a 1:1 where you sit there for hours on a highway.

dayum people actually like these type of games? as a delivery driver myself I absolutely hate driving slow in games.
It's very nice and relaxing to just cruise around Europe or the US in truck simulator.

You play them to chill out. The traffic density is not 100% real so you don't get bothered by other car that much and all you do is going to point a to point b while listening music

I use it for any game where I drive a common vehicle.

@@oldie-seThen you should check out the new Hori truck sim wheel, it has many buttons (for every ETS2 function), levers for indicators and one for like retarder etc. Even a shifter with switches for range and splitter, electronic handbrake switch and much more.

Get a real wheel from a car of your choice, then get the adapter and use it with your moza wheelbase. I use real racing wheels on mine. Saved me hundreds of dollars.
I think with ets 2, you need forcefeedback that is accurate, it doesnt need to be strong, strong enough, but not sim racing levels
