There a block you can buy, I wanna say it's EZ lock, it's an alternative to welding the diff. Just throwing it out there, if you guys don't feel like welding that diff. :p It's a small block that fits in between the spider gear. I'd use it if my junk didn't already come with a locker. :ppp

I put in a stock b18b1 into my CIVIC EX. Using my D-Series harness. Got everything all hooked up with the b-series ECU. Tried to start it but can't. It just crank no start and no spark. Please reply with suggestions on how to fix. DM in my insta @_clyde.exe

The rear end in these is junk, you'll be replacing that soon enough. The 8.8 would be fine in it, they are way cheaper than a 9 inch. Even a Tacoma diff would be fine too, they get used a lot in light weight drag cars here (Australia)
if he puts radials on that and dumps it he WILL break the axels, you should weld the diff but for reliability of not busting the rear he should do a toyota 8 inch or 8.8 inch rear swap. also the tires are 4x110 which are most commonly a 4 wheeler tire, what you need is a 4x108 rim and wobblebolts or since you will break the diff then change the front tires to the 4x114.3 or buy the aftermarket 5x114.3 front and that will get it ready for the 8.8 inch toyota rear. if he doesnt want to blow the stock diff then dont do the roll and if you do make sure you have a chain to flat tow or make sure youre close to home. im pretty sure the rear end can handle a roll but dont count on it. a 4.3 v6 with radials will bust the rear end no prob
I just need y'all to know you saved me a bunch of money. I am swapping an LS into a firebird and when I got the LS there was nothing on the motor so I assumed those crossover tubes were a vacuum (didn't know they were coolant). now that I know that there is not a crack in the block I don't need to go buy a new one! I just have to thank you so much for talking about it
Fuck tonne of newer honda shit (03) era is 4x100 and most the alloys are 6/7 inch, just a thought as they're cheap as fuck.

that rx-7s bolt pattern is 4x110 you can get wheels off mustangs 4x108 and drill em out a bit
