Yes but how did this lady allow her dog to get that close to a 2 year hold. I'm still trying to get my head around that. She obviously had NO control over her dog???

He had to have stitches. I told SIL about Cesar but she doesn’t heed my advise. I think she’s afraid of being assertive.

I am amazed with your understanding, connections with dogs. You certainly have some misunderstood dogs. Im very blessed; my dog Daisy, a large, long legged chihuahua, is 8, a rescue, ive had 4 yrs. Daisy was badly abused, starved, beaten by a boy, his mum, thier other dog. Yet ive never had an ounce of trouble. Daisy loves all dogs, kids, people. Is gentle, peaceful loyal, loving. Walks so well with me, but will never walk with any one, afraid I'll leave her. She saved a cat, dumped, dying, so we have have Charlie, a deaf cat. She comforted my sister when her son & husband died, & now my sis has dementia Daisy comforts her. Daisy is the perfect dog.
The dog learned MUCH more quickly than the owner. The owner, who was a COMPLETE failure with her dog, immediately challenged Cesar because the dog seemed "afraid". This owner is SO brainwashed to think that you should NEVER say NO to your dog. It's just infuriating. The best thing in the word that you can do for your dog's psychological and physical health is to teach it the importance of the word NO, and to be the leader that your dog DREAMS of!! This has got to be one of the most brainwashed, clueless dog owners I have ever seen.
Cesar, I love your work. It should be illegal for all these animal owners to be in possession of animals, especially carnivores / hunters. They are clueless, which makes them dangerous. Thank you for doing your best to train them. When will they realise that to be a shepherd is incompatible with living in big cities and that animals are not plush toys?
I’m shocked that caper’s owner didn’t think that her dog could KILL a two year old. I love dogs but they are dogs. Dogs should never bite kids. Cesar rocks!
It didn't take long for her to show Caper the correct response to his dangerous deeds. This was quite easy to redirect attention from destruction and chaos. Great job accomplishing a better outcome for Capers capers 😊❤
i think i totally understand and respect her worry in the beginning, that her dog might be sent the wrong path in fear motivation and i want to give her approval for her pretty responsible way of handling things and tell everyone who gets a bit sassy with her (comments, coaches...i felt a bit bad for her), look how well she is comprehending and doing it right. Its also good how clearly and on the spot she communicates that. Ok, the video is edited and i wasnt there in person, i get that... Anyways, Cesar Millan always doing good work!
Wow! That's one energetic Lakeland! I wonder if that high energy is typical for the breed? NOT for a tiny property! The owner was an EXCELLENT student of Cesar's. Apparently, she did an amazing job working with her pup, and quickly, too! Good job all around -- if true! Woof!
Terriers became specialized by size, color, and temperament to hunt specific categories of vermin. Lakeland Terriers are one of the oldest of the working Terrier breeds, though they have gone by several different names throughout their long history. They originated as hunters of larger vermin in the Lake District of England and were originally known as Patterdale Terriers. They were bred initially to assist the farmers in the area by going to ground after badgers, otters, and foxes; not just to alert a human partner or to corner the animal, but to find and destroy their prey in order to keep them from raiding livestock. They were bred for gameness, which is defined as the trait of eagerness even in the face of substantial threat or injury, and this gameness has led some of these Terriers to follow badgers, otters, and foxes into their holes and pursue them for days.
Yes! I have Welsh terrier with very similar attitude. This type of dogs have a very high hunting instinct so breeders do not recommend to keep this dog with other animals or little kids! A lot of energy which is required a lot of patience, training and exercises. If you’re not going to work with your dog that energy will turns in aggression and completely disaster mess!
