Yes, those cars made during Japan's bubble period are intricately crafted and stunning.
Very underrated or ima just not hip on them
i audibly went "what is that :D" when i saw the thumbnail. this car looks so unique to me
This the pistachio nissan
It actually looks like a real car with a soul unlike cars nowdays
100%
So until about 1990 all cars had to have a Over Speed (cuts in about 105Kph onward) chime warning sound device installed from the factory and in the Nissan's it was just under the dash drivers side and it can just be unplugged , if you had a Toyota you had to pull out the gauge cluster to unplug it and remove it out. Look for a little square box that looks silver and it almost looks like a match box size with a Red and Green wires coming out of it . Very cool car you in this video and it almost seem to belong in the country side in Italy as a pizza delivery car!. Great video as always Nick.
The Japanese cars I've driven beep when you go above 100 Kph because that's the speed limit in Japan.
This... looks like it's straight out of a Studio Ghibli film.
I love it.
Classic
Three-spokes are cool, Nick, but please, not on the Pao. I know it's a 90's car but it just screams 50's-60's vibes, and those stock wheels/hubcaps are big part of that.
Come onnnnnnnnnn
Totally agree... and the "warm" headlights too
Looks great, for the wheels, though I may say for me the full moon caps would look good.
One of my favorite weird 90s JDM rabbit holes is all the quirky throwback/“classic” bodies they did, especially with Mitsuoka. The peak for me is the Pajero Jr “Flying Pug”. When I first saw it, I couldn’t decide if I loved it or hated it.
I smell a S-Cargo as a near future car? Great vid, love these Paos!
S-Cargo In the NEAR NEAR Future maybe before Fall
@@Waybeforethefame you'll love it! It's a perfect mix of the Pao & Walkthrough
Great video, thanks
I do like the look of the Pao. Cool colour also.
Great color combination
I loved to tune these in Gran Turismo 4 x3
I like how the Pao looks, maybe I'll snag one eventually after I clear out my mess I made for myself. I can settle for the BE-1 for the moment.
The be1 you have is sick. I feel like the pao is the feminine version of the 2
@@Waybeforethefame I think I like the Pao more. Gotta embrace your fem side
Love these cars. I remember reading about these when they first came out, always thought these would make a sweet hot hatch
Im now a huge fan of them myself
Can't wait to see you geek out in Japan :D.
Me too!!
The Pao is love. Embrace the Pao.
Also yes, that beep is a classic JDM feature - A reminder you're over the speed limit. It's an easy disconnect but it's one of those quirky features that's a big love/hate thing.
Pao is sick, I wish they put the figaro engine !!
@@Waybeforethefame Sounds like a perfect project...
No three spokes it’s nice the way it is.
Those three spokes are totally wrong,on the Pao.
🤔🤔🤔
Someone near me in London had a Pao and they are such a cool looking car. Certainly would like to own one - much more preferable than a Figaro (which are cool cars but just not for me)
My dream car would be the pao or Be1 with the Figaro turbo engine
Lovely
Nice old school Japanese car love it reminds me a the older Honda civic wagons. I love the door handles nice and old school all these new cars with everything that is automatic doesn’t impress me lol this car is awesome 👌p.s BUY IT😂
Although the 3 spokes always look good, because the Pao has a utility vibe I think the steelies look right too.
I wonder what the 5 speed manual drives like, you could get bleeping noises in all 5 gears if you try hard enough!
Wikipedia say there were four standard colours, with one of each painted gold and blue/black and interior should be black or ivory. A three speed auto or 5 speed manual was availible.
5 speed would be very interesting
Was telling you for so long to get one of the Pike cars. I put a Honda D16 in mine.
I was sleeping on them
I fuckin love these, that interior is great
ITS SOOO GOOD
Should get some enkei 92s. I have them on mine, and they looked really good.
Ima see if I can find some ! just googled it on a pao
I think it might just be a JDM car thing. My hiace can prolly go much faster but it doesn't seem overly happy over 120-130. Btw love that pao
I think it's an old car thing too, since these are all 25+ years old. At least we can't get speeding tickets
I'd love to pick up a Nissan Figaro but I don't think it's ever going to be in my price range. I haven't considered a Pao.
Figaros are expensive but in Japan theyre cheaper low Teens for a nice one and its basically turbo pao which is awesome
❤❤❤
It’s pretty cool 😎
I like it alot
Can you look to see if they have diesel versions for the Kei types and the paper thanks
No diesel keis
Omg nick that hurt ..... vintage 80s ?? .... damn it lol
I mean im born in 1993 so im not that far off lol
I wonder if anyone has done a March Super Turbo engine swap in one of these x3
Supercharger and a turbocharger in this could be fun
Even a Nissan fiagro engine swap which be good!
It looks like it’s brand new, does the AC work?
Needs a AC charge honestly
How many speed transmission is it? I'm guessing a 3 speed.
Correct
The AC doesn’t work??
It needs to be charged
That’s a small h mart
Yeah it’s a small one in Long Island
don't even think of changing these wheels
😔
What's with the burnt orange seats? Yuk. I like everything else.
Original wheels are better- keeping the car style..
Gotta Spice It UP
