@@tart9186 In the video, I explained it increased it roughly 3 MPG, 13.5 to 16.5 MPG. Now running the Eco Mode all the time would probably increase it even more. Not a fact though.
Is this with eco boost on? or the other options. Im curious if you get better gas mileage when its on city or sport. I dont really understand what city does.
@@thomasp5082 Sorry for the late response. When it is in "Eco" mode, you get more MPG. For example, my Jeep gets 13.5 and with Eco on, I got 16.5. It might increase more, say for long road trips, etc. "City" mode gives you an increase in MPG as well, just not as much as "Eco" does. It's mainly for if you live in the city, travel on highways, etc.
I got the 3.8 as wel, has no power on 35s, I step on it and it bogs at 2.5 rpm’s until I give it more and it downshifts 😂 might need to regear but hopefully this helps give it more power Offroad
@@projectraptor1993without, I think I’m going with banks pedal monster for safety and better throttle modulation but yea it just bogs, I do have a vacuum leak which might contribute to the bogging because I have an intake from k&n too
@@Danielxperez14 I gotcha. I've heard a lot of great things about the Pedal Monster from Banks as well. I'm thinking on getting one for my Jeep and doing a comparison video to see which one is better.
The longer that I have been using the Pedal Commander, I have noticed at least 20%, at most 30% better Fuel Economy. Ranging anywhere from 16-18 MPG. Everyone drives differently, so I can't really say that stopping/starting, pickup and highway passing affects the overall MPG.
@@projectraptor1993 thanks for the reply - thinking even if just 10% at the lowest gain on mpg - this thing would've paid itself off of in probably a couple of mos!
I would be buying this for my 2014 JK. I am only interested in it helping out with the rock crawling aspect of making it easier to feather gas pedal. Does eco mode soften pedal significantly??
As I explain in the video, there are 4 settings; ECO, CITY, SPORT and SPORT+. ECO Mode, which doesn't improve the Throttle Response, saves Gas by slowing the Throttle Response a little more than Factory. CITY mode adds a little better Throttle Response, while still saving some Gas Mileage.
Yes, I bought this pedal commander for my jeepjku. I love it. Saved 300 dollars in gas in 6 weeks owning it. Highly recommended for Jeep’s.
I appreciate your comment! The Pedal Commander is highly underrated for sure.
This was my question exact how much does it actually increase the gas mileage

It increases voltage to throttle body
I have tested this on my Jeep, and yes, it does in fact increase the voltage to the TB, not by much though. It hasn't caused any issues to this day.

Does this happen with or without the Pedal Commander installed?

@@projectraptor1993 cool I’ll be waiting on that 👍
So eco mode would be good for long distance driving I drive long distance for work on the interstate so assuming eco would be thebway to go?
ECO Mode is, yes, for driving long-distances and for anyone who wants to save a little more on Gas.
After 2 years of using this product in my Jeep JKU i experienced high rev. About 2,500 RPM.
Experienced high rev in what aspect?
Bad or good
I'm not sure entirely what you mean. I haven't experienced anything bad with mine.
Good info here thanks
20% more in mpg in Eco mode?!?!? that's great, but assuming the stop start pickup and hgway passing is probably impacted quite a bit?

Eco mode saves you in Gas and yes, it does soften the pedal quite a bit. I think that the Pedal Commander would be a perfect addition to your Jeep.
Yes worth it
How would it increase mileage if it incrwase throttle
