I would use the pedal commander for Uber and Lyft. As an Uber driver, I see the pedal commander might be the best companion. I know from watching it may not be the best experience, but definitely, I believe it feels definitely different in each setting.

Not sure which module you’re referring to but once you have your hand on the connector, it should slide right off while pressing the release tab on the side.
Great video, I've just ordered one. I'm wondering though, do you have to turn this thing on and off each time you park the vehicle and turn it off? Or does it just stay in and work as if it was part of the ignition?? Thanks. Cause if you constantly have to turn it on and off, I don't think I will be keeping it.
The jeep in the video is a 2017. The PC will give your 3.8 a little pep in its step! It’s not increasing power at all, it is however increasing throttle response.
Can that happen, yes, however it may be due to a number to things. I would recommend calling the dealer where you purchased it from to assist with troubleshooting.
Besides the pedal commander, are there other mods like cold air intake, headers/exhaust etc?I love the jeep platform, the suspension even on the base models are like tanks. I just can't believe they put such under powered engines in these jeeps. They should at minimum put a v6 with 300 hp stock like the colorado does. Heck even the ford twin turbo's 2.7 ecoboost put up 325hp/400 lbs of torque and get phenomenal mpg.

The pedal commander seemed to really affect that jeep in a positive way so I was curious if you had done headers/exhaust / tune etc.. or if it was stock and the pedal commanders was really that good.. I ordered one anyways because my jeep is sluggish on throttle response..I do appreciate the video, it will make installing easier..I haven't had time to watch any of your other videos yet..
@@trailseven I try not to order from the u.s because of canada duties/taxes and sometimes outright refusal to let the products in the country. Then the shipper is out the the shipping costs or they charge me etc.. its a hassle..For some reason amazon has no problems with this. My gov seems to think it keeps money within the country but when no one has the shit except u.s retailers or amazon, what can ya do...
@@trailseven Ya the difference is crazy. sport + lvl 4 was really responsive. Not sure why they don't just do something similar from the factory. Mines an 07 so fairly old. I had an 09 colorado z71 and the stock throttle response was snappy asfk too. This pedal commander just reminded me of that truck.. My wires were a bit hard to reach for some reason. Its like -12 celsius but it took about 10 mins to install. The worst part was I think the one plug was facing the wrong way.. not the orange tab one the other one. I finally got it in. That plug for some reason reminded me of my ex asian GF.. hmm.. It just didn't fit at first.. But once she was flipped over the right way, slid right in.. Just a tight spot all around.
This wouldn’t provide any top end. It just improves the throttle response. The Jeep in the video is also on 37’s and the throttle response module helped tremendously.

I have a 2013 JK and I can’t get the pedal plug off. There is a 5”x5” module blocking my view. Is there any “trick” to get the cable unplugged?

Is there is any trick to unplug that plug, im telling you I spent 2 hrs trying to unplug the plug. I finally gave up!
Are you sure you’re trying the right connector. It’s difficult to reach but once reached it should pop right off.

Helps you with the gears? I also have 37s and not using 7th and 8th gear at all, just 5th and 6th

None at all. The Pedal Commander improves throttle response so you should not be experiencing acceleration issues. What mode are you using?
@@trailseven city, then sport, at one moment while driving on the streets it accelerated as if i floored the pedal, and I was only doing 20-25 mph
