But you have to be good enough to make it work. And it is somewhat dependant on what heroes are in the game. It is easy to basically be like you are griefing the game if you are not good enough to make it work.
@@adamhero459 exactly. if you just pick these unorthodox supports when it doesn't help and you underperform then you're not really contributing and you'll probably have at least part of the blame for the loss.
@@JewTube001 however, if you don't pick them then you'll never learn how to play them. If it really bothers you, you might wanna play a couple of unranked games to understand how to play it.
Freaking Geminate Attack innate is so op. I had a game where the enemy pos 4 Weaver deals like 200 damage in 1 attack (2 because of GA) with only Vessel, Wand, and Blight Stone. This hero is annoying as hell to face.
Lv 25 talent is a cheat. If you have shard, everytime shukuchi was used it will throw geminate attacks. Weaver will only show up .25 secs everytime. 😂

hey :) I really love your videos!! a suggestion... I think it would be an amazing idea to complete videos like this one with a section on counter tips. Keep up the good job :) I have learnt a lot with your videos already ;)
What if another hero desperatly wants to build Urn/Vessel (e.g. Invo Mid)? Is there a better option than falcon blade? That's my pick as it also provides some of the same things an urn does early on (extra HP for survivability, mana regen and some damage for the early to mid game) but I was wondering wether I am missing something else I could build instead.
Thank you for making this video. I stopped using Weaver pos 4 after all the nerfs to lvl 1 Shukuchi, scepter range getting reduced, shard being tied to shukuchi instead of swarm... This gives me more motivation to play Weaver again.
I feel like weavers geminate attack isnt as good as Jakiro's double trouble for tombstone or egg. With Jakiro, you can kill wards with it, and its zero cooldown so damage wise not an improvement(cz it reduces damage) but against tombstone, egg etc its really good.
I'm 9325 mmr and have played plenty of weaver support, gyro, naga throughout the years long before there were guides on it. Nagas song is probably the best setup in dota
Gyro makes a much better support. They are both very good supports as a carry. Even naga is good she needs a certain lineup though. Supports who do good DMG and can clear camps and waves is what dota is all about now.
torm is no longer affected by armor reduction if I'm not mistaken (for the swarm effect) Edit : I forgot - it's negative armor that doesn't work so scratch that
Love running weaver. Drop a swarm into a group hit with deso, go invis and reposition. I could see where a 4 or 5 with sentries would really stop the counters as well.
I personally like hivemind more since it really better for pub games where I have to transition to carry anyway. I usually always have same level with the lowest lvl ally core no matter how hard the game with hivemind. All weaver talent is broken so lvl really matter on transitioning to carry
I’m really surprised to hear the skukuchi facet is the higher win rate on support weaver too. I’ve been playing this a bunch but with the exp facet and I love it.
People just can not, or do not want to, cope with reasonable job / task distribution. Everybody wants to play somehow "dmg Core" and get away with it :( Sad really.
Fuck, this video made me -25mmr. I totally forgot to consider bans. Never first pick weaver if you see zeus and spirit breaker yet to be banned, otherwise it's unplayable match ID:7779027741 FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally disagree. Shukuchi does nothing to keep you out of Lion's or Shaman's or Disruptor's bullshit on lane (it is pretty good against Witch Doctor or Willow or Wyvern, or other slow-casting supports though), focusing on spamming mana-intensive stuff on **Weaver** on lane (swarm also pushes lane badly) sounds dumb. You eat a earth spike or two and enemy carry will beeline to kill you. So, Geminate to max in all the cases and melt enemy supports while denying like a god. Plus, you can farm super quckly after laning phase. Swarm is really good in 1vs1, like on mid lane to get early kill. Item and talent build is spot-on though. Shukuchi-Swarm build is a life-saver on lane if enemy has carry that can catch and slow you with their hits, like PA or Drow or TA and Huskar and so on. No matter how you measure it, Weaver's abilities are better against classic MID heroes and he's way better in 1v1 than getting trampled on lane against two heroes... so I'm not sold on support weaver. Late game Skadi is incredible to both be tanky and catch everyone.

I think I use this on Oracle with his Q. Will try it the Alt on Shadow Demon this week.
notably double tap doesn't work if the hotkey is set to quickcast, because it will try (and fail) to cast at your cursor location immediately.
You've quickly overtaken Speeed as my favourite tips channel ever since I found you
gonna copy-paste this vid in post-game chat to hopefully reduce the reports i get
people are cry babies below divine bracket. my suggestions is all mute and play your own game
dont bother, mutes persist into post game chat xD

so this is why a lot of support weaver in crusader swarmed recently

noooo! I've been crushing with him!!!! It's funny I found meta before pros for once.
Tried a similar build in immortal with the XP innate, didn't really feel it.
Do you post these guides in game? I can never find them but I would love to use them in game if possible.

Hivemind is really good vs illusions and slow heroes as a POS 5. Id never pick it if you arent the 5
Fiveminds 😂😛
Happy gg, may the lp be with you ;)
Hey thanks for the video! Can you please do a tier list for support heroes? I dont think we're gonna get another patch soon lol
Oh god I didn’t know they bought the old ags back, hoodwink, our time together has been amazing, I’m back to spamming weaver support ! Well pos4
can u make mk support guide?

I'm 9325 mmr and have played plenty of weaver support, gyro, naga throughout the years long before there were guides on it. Nagas song is probably the best setup in dota
Nothing wrong with weaver support, same with Lina this patch
Jokes on you, was already doing weaver support before the thumbnail
As a weaver support in archon bracket, can confirm
@@kckillakrack9714 well i'm 18k mmr and was playing Weaver support in 1997, so you're nothing special
duo with phoenix will be great to slow their attackspeeds
What if you leeched xp from the opponent?
nice guide

I love dota plus except for the guide section, hasn’t ever worked right, only the first 1 or 2 work then it just doesn’t work.

Those were not skywraths.
ive been doing this for 7 months now
I've played with Zach about like 5 times, our win rate is like 1-4. :(
IN RANKED
They just nerfed ss and warlock so sup weaver it is
I've had this happen a few times to me, they all suck
this wont do in my herald rank void offlane and void support is trash, weaver support, pa mid, veno mid, bounty support 😂
Bounty is support you animal lmfao
Yes weaver drow dusa die in seconds lol
Lewis Angela Moore Kimberly Jones Deborah
jemminate
The question is not "how" , but "why" ? Why to play Weaver support when you have so many good support heroes out there?
It can be flexed, he said it in the intro
fun hero with a good winrate, its not a mystery
It obviously depends on team comp and match ups.. you need disables on your team from your cores if youre going to pick weaver support
People just can not, or do not want to, cope with reasonable job / task distribution. Everybody wants to play somehow "dmg Core" and get away with it :(

I wish I had supports my most recent game I had a lc pos 5 💀
What bracket lmao
She has a "stun" and a dispell I guess
