Agreed! She's my most played character in Mario Sports Mix, the only spinoff Mario character in which I used in a game more than Peach and Daisy.

Duuude, this game shaped my childhood! I still remember the exact team I used. Black Mage, White Mage, and Moogle because I thought they looked cool. I always thought the White Mages Special Symbol looked like the Starbucks logo.
White and Black Mage, Birdo, Boo, and Bowser have the top best special shot. Ninja, Daisy, Peach, Paratroopa, Shy Guy and Diddy Kong have good special shots as well.
Boo's special shot is like...almost uncounterable! The guy manifests the ball outta nowhere and he dribbles in that B pattern very fast.

Probably my favorite additions to any Mario game roster… maybe ever? While they were really cool and aesthetically pleasing, I wish their specials for alley hoops released the ball quicker. Getting blocked by the opponent always sucked. That’s why I always had Luigi on my team bc his special could literally be spammed and the opponent had little time to think who to block lol. Paratroopa, donkey Kong, and Mario were nice for similar reasons.

Everyone's talking about white mage but ever since I was a kid I always thought Bowser's special shot was the coolest. He lets out a badass roar and the shot knocks down EVERYONE on the court.

Playing this as a child I thought the guest characters were completely original to this game (had never touched a final fantasy game or other square enix game for that matter) and always thought they looked out of place. Now that I realize they're FF characters I still feel like it's out of place, even if Square developed this game

This was the last game I ever played because on memorial Day in a Chinese restaurant I looked away in my DS got stolen. My biggest regret was never getting dark mage and I never knew how to do his signature 😭😭😭. My DS how ai miss u so 💔
