Milwaukee Brushless rotary tool. Unboxing and first thoughts. Does it replace Dremel, or is it junk?

  • I shopped all around for a new Dremel tool and came across this little beauty. It's from Clark's Tool where I got some of the other Milwaukee stuff. The sale is still going so I wanted to take advantage of it and get a few things that I have needed for a while now. The Dremels seem to be fine and last for quite a while, but they mostly came as a kit with the bits and attachments that I already have. So, for roughly the same dough, Milwaukee has just the tool to add to the arsenal. There were two versions. The older brushed unit which I think is now discontinued, and the new Brushless version. The old one has the rotary dial to adjust the speed and the new one has buttons to adjust the speed up and down in 2500 rpm increments starting at 5000 rpm. The newer tool seems to be better quality and actually feels like a Milwaukee tool. The older one feels like a knockoff with Milwaukee branding on it. I think it's going to work great and also uses the batteries that I already have. I have used it a bit already and it feels like it's going to last a long time. I hope it helps me save a ton of money on this intake manifold that needs repair. If you're in the market for one of these rotary tools, I think this one is the jam. Thanks for Watching! See you in the next one.
