Biggest surprise of the year so far, I was expecting the car to rattle as if it was on the brink of falling apart.

Usually very cheap cars that have less pieces and parts are more solid. Toyota is always solid because their door panels are like one entire piece and its all dulled plastic

@@rickyhrman3204 Toyotas are reliable yes, but their interiors are cheap and plasticky too.

That weird noise could be the overhead control panel for the alarm system.

I have an A250e saloon just like this in the UK. 2020 model with 30k on the clock. Its interior is shambolic. More squeaky and rattly than any car I’ve ever owned. It goes this year and I’ll never get another Merc again….

Funny how the cheapest class has the best quality 😂

I think BMW is better than Mercedes in quality in the most comparisons i've seen.

The thing creaks more than a C5 Corvette.. Didn't think it was possible

I'm selling a c class to get an a class because of interior quality. A class is cheaper materials, but there is not a lot going on, there are considerably fewer parts that can rattle and squeak. Most of the things I managed to fix in c class but it's a botomless hole of rattles. Fun part is that materials aren't even that bad, all plastic parts are good and thick, main problem is overengineering with several plastic parts touching each other without any reason whatsoever. If they simplified things, everything would be better. Main reason for that much parts is longevity I suppose, because several things can expand and contract due to temperature changes without putting the strain on any part, but it's so annoying and makes you feel like very cheap car

BQT, you do check a lot and A LOT of cars, is it tue that European cars use thicker body pannels than American and Japanese cars do?? I'm curious.
