How come no one ever mentions you can charge the jump on walls and go either high as hell or far? That's great. You can EASILY jump from wall to wall across the scar. As long as you don't hit an angle, you can bounce around avoiding things till your stamina is out.
The bleed thing is useful when there are 4 of them on you. Thanks to not being able to bite or hit them off your back with a Dino, you have to use weapons or other Dino’s. Pretty good starter creature for someone who just got a pteranodon
Pump speed points, I got mine to 260% and you can get around soooooo easily and quickly. It is also fantastic for the ice wyvern trench idk why but these thing shred the ice wyverns and can easily climb the walls.

Don’t forget weapons can be held on the deinonychus super useful early game. Considering it’s one of the fastest ground mounts, it can be an exceptional middleman for your rifle and whatever you’re trying to tame
The Bleed is super strong i really dont know what ppl are talking about, have u tried it against any boss, since is % DMG i was hitting brood mother for 20k bleed dmg, plus the buff pack is crazy strong, all around probably the most versatile DIno in both pvp/pve

It’s actually really good for valguero because it can move around white cliffs easily and it can deal with the allos and rexes and raptors making it quite useful, yes a flying Dino might be good for moving around but not good for fighting or for moving fast in quick time. It’s a good Dino especially since you can take it as soon as you are level 3 you just need to pick up a egg and make a campfire it’s not later game or mid game but is good for mid game to begging game and a strong enough one will be able to stay in the end game. So go use it for it’s actual purpose then just pvp and you will see it’s good (it’s also quite good at pvp because it can move fast it’s small can climb and grab onto Dino’s making them very hard to kill or shoot they are quite good and can be very useful when used with someone who knows how to use it well).
Ryan if you're talking about the calling for backup scene, then that should have already been a thing in ark with the regular raptor but the devs either weren't thinking about it or didn't have the time to do it
The fact that deino is at the moment one of the meta dino's in the game.. Can SOLO alpha dragon and few other bosses with ease, damn usefull on alpha missions on genesis and melts alpha rexes before they finish roaring :) i think you owe that "underrated dino" an apology :p

Well hopefully they'll increase the numbers on that bleed attack with an update, and then if they find a way to make the rock climbing a little less clunky they'll be near there. Maybe a 10% increase of the stamina stat as well. If they make those changes the creature should be pretty good.
The rock climbing is only clunky until you realize the head aiming trick (the bit he mentioned about the Deino jumping where it's looking). Once you know that, it's easy to control its jumps (at least, it is with a keyboard and mouse; no idea about controller).

My initial start stats were 1440hp 630stam 314melee...now 2560hp 1020stam 496melee...could be farther but I had a few month break in between. They are very powerful for their size. A pack of 3 overpowered a 100%imprint 30khp 650melee reaper no charge light, they shred soakers, and are great for scouting and rocket running

Through my testing... this creature is must stronger than what thick makes them seem, the thing about pouncing players is right, its op. There are 3 versions of the new raptor, travel version: upgrade 25% hp, 50% stam, 25% movement: and you got yourself a tracking/scouting dino, pvp version: 25% hp, 25% stam, 50% melee. OP against human targets and small/medium sized dinosaurs (ex: defending your base against a soaking trike). And pack member version 75% up 25% melee (5 of these types and say goodbye to any large dino in the vicinity of your pack). Using a mix of these "types" will be a deadly concoction for your enemy (1 travel/scout type 3 pack member type and 1 pvp type) The scout is to relay info to the pack where the target is, the pack member types should take down any tamed dino in sight and the pvp type should take down any surviving humans from the attack. Mix this combo with a yutanosaurus (?) And/or deadon (?) And boy oh boy is your enemy screwed. Although this new creature is not that good enough to change the pvp meta, but through the strat that I just stated it can indeed be helpful.

I just tested the leap ability and if your fighting solo against a trex. You can latch on the leg of it and kill it, the rex will spin around trying to get you. But I only tried it once
I think the main reason why the bleed damage and stamina is how it is, is because it is already overpowered. You already showed it doesn’t take fall damage and how it can pounce and climb walls. If the stamina and bleed damage were higher, it would need nerfs putting more work on the devs to make ark balanced.
I think this dino is very good at traveling the map, it can climb that is very useful because in this map cliffs are everywhere, it can jump kinda high and covers a lot of distance and is fast so that's what a deinoco is useful for

This was the first dino I got because I somehow stumbled upon a egg and just innocently took it and walked off. Game changer.
