For everyone wondering (and it's quite a few it seems) the black egg is just the Ice Wyvern egg. It always looks weird in screen shots for some reason

That is the Lightning one.... the Ice Wyvern egg is the black one which is second from the left
Man I thought that was a voidwyrm but remembered they don't spawn on fjordour

I know that you made this whole guide which is really good but honestly I’m really happy you mentioned an otter for Jotunheim because I’ve seen people run the Tek Cave and sacrifice some tek armor pieces for fur. Otters are underrated for insulation. Also, I learned that Feroxs also give insulation!
There are quite a bit that can protect you from the elements but also having almost 100 fortitude does wonders for surviving 😁🦦
Plus if you buff there melee, it ups the insulation they provide.
Id love a ferox but im unsure how i obtain element or where to find otters

Also do you get all engrams now on Fjordur?
I heard they would patch it because a while back people didnt get all engrams on Fjordur.
I played island, lost island and im now mainly based on Gen2, its awesome so far but kinda miss the wyvern / magmasaur spots there 😄
Aberration is my favorite map (and the one I hate the most at the same time) but Fjordur is a very close second. I have a mod that always unlocks the engrams so not sure about the engram bug
@@BemoGuinness I feel you, I love the lore, gameplay, and overall flavor of Aberration, but surviving on it sucks sometimes.

You can also take a Griffin in that 1st case where the mags are
I always have a crystal wyvern saved to my character. He really gets into those tight areas that are usually hard to fly into with wyverns. He's also my alpha killer.

Best guide yet thanks. Note gamma up in the dark areas they don't show up at all on phones, where I watch adtube. And could you do the artifact caves as well nobody's doing walk-throughs of this map that are good like the island back in the 'days of old'. Your the exception!

I liked the video and presentation, nice job. And wow. I just moved to Fjordur, so basically every egg-steal dino is on here. Would have been even more awesome if the crystal wyverns and voidwyrms were also on this map so you had everything in one place, but I'm kinda being greedy there arent I xD this is already a treat.
I thought the deinonychus is also on this map, wasnt that another egg-steal one?
Yes but they are all over the place and easy to find so I decided to leave them out of the video

Don’t know if you know or not. But I take my void wyvern inside the magma cave. None of the animals mess with you while your on it except magmas and golems also can fly inside there too
Meaning scorpions. Onyc centipedes all that won’t mess with you unless you hop off your void wyvern
The thing is I only have a low level one of them and it's one of the few creatures I will never tame another one of so gotta keep it for the collection
Flyers can only go inside the cave if cave flying is enabled, just the same as all the other caves. Desmodus are the only creature that can fly in their afaik.

only one missing wyvern on this map the cristal wyvern then it would be complete . lol nice of you to show us around .
Yea would be nice to have those scattered around. It seems like those always get left out of all the other maps
@@BemoGuinness did you know there is a mod for just that map it adds all the dinos that were removed from the map cristal otters cristal argys and so on to name a few, i think its called crystal ilels additions.
I installed it a while back and logged it to check it out to make sure it wouldn't crash while recording and they added in a bunch of things that their community discord group decided they wanted to add like ghost creatures and stuff like that which totally ruined the original mod of just adding the dinos back in. Was super disappointed as seeing ghost creatures on the beaches and stuff didn't mesh well with the whole normal Crystal Isles theme
@@BemoGuinness still if you can get past the i think they call them lig creatures and go after only Crystal ones I think having a few of them in your poky balls would be worth it A otter is a otter but a R- otter is better and a X-otter is better so a Crystal otter must be better right lol. It would be fun to see you jump over for a few and set up a hut and Tame a few to bring back to your main base. like the crystal wyvern .

vanaheim only exists for poison wyverns and it kinda sucks cause it looks so cool

It was where the Forest Titan was on the mod map but none of the Titans got put onto the official map for some reason. It kinda leaves Vanaheim without anything but the Wyverns like you said and some of the X creatures. Sucks cause it's an awesome looking realm at night time 😔

Shadowmane. You can get it from Fjordur or Genesis 2 maps
The big skeletons shown in certain parts of the video is known as the Jormungandr or for simpler terms The World Serpent... It's known to be a mythical creature made from the gods with siblings known as the one of the bosses in the game the fenrir. and other siblings. The world serpent is known to be so big that it could Circle the world and grasp its tail.. It was banished from the heavens above sent into the deep depths of the water in hopes of it to drown but instead, it grew into its massive size known now, being able to destroy mountains and cause Havoc wherever it goes, until millions of years later it eventually died, leaving skeleton remains around the world for most people to not know what it is or was. About 75% of the world does not know about this creature or what it is. But maybe just maybe it'll come back to life in Ark 2. Who knows? If it'll ever come back is just a theory...

I have a 185 max level imprinted rock drake egg he’s my main Dino for getting Wyvern eggs
I can’t find the rock drake cave entrance at 41,49. It just seems to be walls and no actual entrance anywhere I look on fjordur

I feel so dumb I didn’t realise rock drakes spawned on Asgard….
No reason to feel dumb.... you don't know until you know, ya know?
Any chance you could do locations of bats please went to the place where you got yours and there was none
They should be in just about any cave if they are spawning properly on your map

I list the GPS coordinates and show you how to get to each area. I am flying on a Desmodus that you get from this map

Just been in the abyss I have saw atleast 10 leeditchsythius idk how to spell but it’s the big fat whales you tend to only find 1 around normally so idk how I saw that many but ey they give off goodish loot if there alphas 😂
Yep there are sooo many Alphas down there. Good place to farm runes
That's a giant fish, not a whale. Ark does sometimes compare it to whales though like the fact alphas drop captain Ahab's hat.

It's just the Ice Wyvern egg. It looks weird when taking a screen shot is all
Ark is one of those games that really makes me want to get a PC. Sure, it's on console, in fact I have in Platinum'd on PS4 and I *definitely* didn't use console commands, but it's not the greatest on console. Same with most RTS games on console, you just don't have enough buttons for every little thing.
It's hard to go back to console once you go to PC. So much more options as far as buttons, customizing & mods
Mods make ark 100x better. It's just so much more of a convenient experience and if you opt to use creature mods like myself, a whole new one.
@@BemoGuinness yeah I got ARK on Xbox and the main reason I wanna get a PC is for some of the more "realistic" creatures (like the draconiasaurus or sumosaurus, not real but they blend in and aren't super overpowered)
Why did the wyverns etc not follow you when you where in the fire wyvern cave?

You can go into the magmasaur cave with a maewing
You can go in there with a bunch of different tames

The coords are all listed on the videos but make sure you are in the Asgard portal as that is where that area is located

They do they just take way longer to spawn on console

Only if you have enabled to allow all cave flyers other than that you need the Desmodus

You can only fly with the Desmodus in the portals. All other flyers are blocked

The creatures need to spawn in on the map for the first time when you load the area. Then they need more time to make the nests
