The nose of the car is so perfectly done.
Not trying to nitpick because this is such an awesome build, but the only thing the builder seems to have forgotten is the engine detail that was seen after the Batmissile scene. Its still my favorite incarnation of the Batmobile.

Spent the last 2 days trawling through my old Lego to put aside any bricks so I didn’t need to buy too many just ordered the rest (and the delorean too) ordered now. Some of the black bricks used would have been from the incarnations of this iconic car back in ‘89. Feels so fitting they then go towards what they always should have been. I think the price for the instructions shouldn't be that high, but it's a damn good build.

This guy NAILED the front of the batmobile. But I have to say the rest of the entire set, the official lego set looks better.
I love it, will be my first try to build such a moc with youre instructions and buying the parts from bricklink.

The official lego batmobile is really good, has a lot of pieces, a lot of details inside but this one is more accurate in terms of shape and proportions to the movie one. It s one of my preferred set ever. The official one for 250 euros and over 3000 pieces should have been much better than this one..a great set anyway..

Artifex did a very good design that was a bit bigger than minifig scale and had almost all of these features. Sorry guys but that's my 89 batmobile of choice. Love the build though.

It would have been much better for your integrity to make an 'complete' review with pro's AND CONS.
Some whole structures are supported by only one stud, the front end barely stays together. It looks very cool, but it's definitely a display model, if you sneeze in the same room with it, something will fall off.
I was considering the mad max moc's next, but now, I'd need to find a 'real' review for them, since I'm convinced now that your 'reviews' are just advertisements for them. Nothing wrong with that, I just think people should know what they're watching!

That is what I expected for the 76139...
But: Since the Batmissle was first shown in Batman Returns, it was right NOT to put this feature in the 1989 ucs model.
We will see in 2022 if they sell a 1992 version of their 76139 ^^

Hi there. Wanted to comment on Dave’s Flickr account but comments were disabled ☹️ I was hoping to build this to display with my Technic tumbler and batpod. Are the parts fairly standard parts or will some of them be ultra rare now? Will I be able to source them from one place? Also how far off would you say the scale is off compared to the tumbler? Many thanks for your help. Troy
I want to see this compared to the Lego release
This one is smaller, less interior details, different mechanism to open the cockpit (the Lego one is the right one) but I like it more. The shape is more accurate and similar to the movie one.
