Agree, 1989 Is an amazing set. The build and design is much more “cleaner” and more stable than the Tumbler. It’s also one of those sets I was constantly amazed by the build techniques. Thanks for sharing!
Microfiber cloth works best to keep Legos clean. I blow mine off with canned air or my air compressor (at around 30 psi) then I use a microfiber, and they look like new
Yeah, while every one of those tile pieces is printed in a slightly different black than the black of the rest of the set, its usually a pretty suttle difference that wouldnt be very noticeable. It seems that Greg's tile, however, was especially miscolored, so I definitly recommend he order another from lego

If you don't like the barrels, you could replace them with black frying pans. They achieve the same look but with the right colour and without sticking out too much. P.S: The tyres on the black wheels on the mini-Batmobile are inside-out.
The Tires on the wheels all look just like the box, same as mine not sure how you could get them inside out. Unless your talking about the small one, I only have the Large 1989 Batmobile
Also Greg, you said a piece on the side of the set was a sticker when it was actually a print, you put that wheel-type piece that goes on the center front of the set on upside down, you didn't completely press down the miscolored tile piece on the top of the set, and i would not recommend you slide open/close the cockpit piece too much, because it has caused irreversible damage to my pieces (from the friction of the cockpit rubbing against the tiles). I also would NOT recommend you display the batmobile with out its stand, because a couple weeks of that, and the tires of the set will be permanently bent out of shape from having too much stress of the heafty weight of the set. Love the video :)

You know what I love with batman... Most versions of his have black as the main colour so you can pretty much use any of his viechels with different batmans and it wont be out of context

That's the only thing I don't like about Batman Lego sets. When you finish putting it together it looks like it has 1,000 years of use because of all the stains from your fingers on those black blocks

Try reaching out to Lego and tell them that large tile is off color. They will send another to you. That is super annoying.

Great set , but it would be nice if Lego would make a special edition 1960s batmobile from the tv series.
