Wow, I just realized I didn't check the spare tire compartment on mine. Just bought one of these beauties yesterday, and when I finished the 250 mile drive back home from the dealer (sometimes it sucks living in the middle of nowhere), I wanted to flip through the manual while I relaxed. I popped the glove box, and I was all, "WTF? No manual?!" I got a PDF version off the Chevy website, but now I gotta go outside and check the trunk, lol!
Call me old-fashioned, but I like flipping through a physical, paper manual. You can order them from Chevy, but they charge you $50 for a copy. Hope it's sitting in the trunk, lol!
BTW, anyone who is reading this and is a giant like me (6'4"), you'll love this car! I was amazed when I realized that I'm actually too short to have the seat moved all the way back! This is the only car I've ever been in where I actually needed to scoot the seat forward! So if you're over 6'4", you'll probably be able to fit in one of these, possibly even if you're 6'7". Foot room is also ample, and I wear size 14. I wasn't interested in luxury features when selecting a car, because it seems like 99% of cars out there are made for tiny 5'8" men at the tallest, so what matters to me is the interior space. Bells and whistles are just that. if you can't even get through the door frame, what good are the luxuries? The knee room and seat belt slack in the Impala Premier is almost as good as a pickup truck. I'd loved to have bought a Ford F-150, but I already ran out of first-born sons to sacrifice as payment. People are always like, "You should have gotten this other car for the same price," and every time I'm like, "Bro, I can't even get into that car; stop suggesting it to me."

Wasn't a true Premier, no heated steering wheel or electric movement , no memory seats or ventilated seats. It was basically a modified LT. I have an LT with the same options. I wonder if they dropped options for last 1/2 yr. Hmm

Nobody really needs that . It's just a "I have this option" thing . I can count on 3 fingers how many times I've used my heated steering wheel or paddle shifters and shit like that .

@@Mharve Well, y'all certainly never lived in the upper Midwest, then. Come back and tell me you don't need a heated steering wheel when the car has been sitting out all night in the parking lot with a -46F wind chill. "Oh, just wear gloves!" Bruh, I don't think you understand just how cold it gets; the cold penetrates the gloves, your skin, your flesh, your bone, and ice-fucks the marrow. If you breathe into the gloves to heat them, the vapor from your breath actually starts forming ice against your skin. If you use gloves that are warm enough, they're too damn thick to properly operate the controls.
Of course, I got the hell out of the upper Midwest, so I no longer need a heated steering wheel, either unless visiting family back there.

Do a favor get a optima SXL for same price and have a better car. Where is the heated steering wheel? What about cooling ventilated seats to go with heated seats for winter and summer? Whets the nappa leather? Can we have a 360 camera? What about front view cameras when pulling into a spot vs backing up? Can my side mirrors auto fold when I lock the car and greet me by unfolding as I approach?
I mean I can keep going but you get the point all for the same price backed up by a better 10yr 100k mile warranty. You get the Kia!
