In this video I walk you through the necessary steps to properly maintain your rear brake caliper on your Ninja 1000SX. This video also shows how to change brake pads if you are going to replace them.

Yes. I plan to get a video out on the front brakes soon, but life has been chaotic as of late.
I have the opposite problem; my brake is not biting the piston, and its factory like that bike is 22 with 3k miles on it the rear brakes seem never to have been used in the past
I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you are saying. Are you saying the pad is never pressed by the piston so the brake never gets used? If that's the case it sounds like fluid isn't getting into the piston
