I've been riding motorcycles since 2006 and just love the relaxation, therapy and overall enjoyment that comes from riding. Over the years I have improved my skills, learned more about riding in general. Gear is one thing that is constantly evolving, and also a huge part of riding and comfort. Technology continues to improve and cool gadgets come along that help riding, or even help me bring content to you. Safety is another huge item that seems to be a growing issue with more and more motorcycle involved accidents. All these things I wish to share on my channel in the forms of reviews, tutorials, educational videos, safety videos and more.
I hope to continue to grow and learn and help other riders grow and learn as well. Another big component is bringing motorcycle awareness to the general public.

Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX - Adding a Switched Fuse Block for Accessories
Hi Thanks for the video, Just installed this same set up on my 2020 sx, Have you noticed any difference in the buffering
Short and concise.. all info easy to understand and even a knuckle head could understand.. thanks brother
Hi. Do you know where I might get a replacement lock? I've lost my key 😢
“Safest way would be to disconnect the negative” and use a bloody Philips screw driver and tighten at the end with a ratchet 😅
Does anyone have the part number for the connector under the seat? 2024 Ninja 1000sx; owner's manual calls it the "USB Socket" connection on page 118. I want to tap into this connection so that I can connect a FuzeBlock and make it switched, but I don't want to cut the original wiring.
I like your front stand. I put 360 degree additional wheels in mine, so I can move the bike and any position. If you interest, I can show you what to do.
Quick question: did you put the front camera in front of fairing, or I saw wrong? I am making the same but using a 3D print bracket that I print 10 times until found se correct shape.
Another great video. What city are you making this videos? I am in central Florida.
One more great video. I have saw all your video about ninja 1000SX. Your videos about installation of accessories are terrific. Question: I just received my 1100 SX, same 1000SX and I am planing to install auxiliary headlights. What do you recommend, a bracket using the mirror support or bracket using the side protection installed in the motor?
thanks for doing all that the links you posted for the parts are incomplete. any chance you can fix that? trying to figure out what size washer for the banjo bolt to use
65 nm ?
Per the service manual, yes - 65 newton meters / 48 ft lbs
thanks for doing these videos - very helpful. own a 2013 concours just bought a 2014 ninja 1000. have you ever installed a cigarette lighter adapter? i need one for my gps and radar detector on this bike
Your install would be different than mine, but yes, there is a video for the cig adapter
Thanks so helpful
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful!
Thank you. Nice video. Much appreciated.
You're welcome!
Thanks so much for the tutorial. Can you tell me, just to lift up the petrol tank cover do i need to remove just the middle fairings(after seat removal) . I have an evotech quadlock mount which requires removing the tank bolts and slliding under but the tank wont lift with just those tank bolts removed
Yes, that should be all you have to remove.
Excellent video. Where the connector was connected before? Blind connector?
Yes, just has a blank hooked to it.
I believe you need to change the babble screws for a safety screw to avoid to be stolen.
That isn't a bad idea. The safety bolt with the mount I used helps, but anyone dedicated to taking it will. I may switch those screws out to add a little more security.
Your vídeos are very good. I am buying my ninja 1100sx that is pretty much the same. I will use your videos to help me. Thanks and congratulations.
Thanks! I do hope they help. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
I like those LEDs. Can I copy to my new one ?
Absolutely!
Great review. I'm considering this helmet. How did you find the sizing? Did the padding compress after a while? I'm sort of between medium and large head size so it's always a bit tricky!
I found it fit true perfect. It starts tight then compresses a bit but not too much. It's still a pretty firm squeeze on me so I wouldn't want to size too big. If you can find one at a local shop I would try them on there. If not, RevZilla with free returns or somewhere similar. That "in between" is a tough one, my wife is like that, we always size down with the Nolan's and it's a bit tight but not to the point where she can't wear it for hours.
Thanks for the helpful reply
Me watching this to see how to UNdo them so I can do a tire change, since mine came with them already on when I bought it 😅
Lol - at least they are easy to remove!
great vid - but you didn't show how we get the tumbler in the bag... especially with that retention tab on the end..........???????????????
You can view my top case video for the install of the lock. th-cam.com/video/TFHRtwFA7tQ/w-d-xo.html 11:55 is where I start talking about the lock, but around 14 minutes is where I show how it goes in.
@ thnx. I cant tell why you disassembled it however…? Shouldn’t lock core just go right in a full assembled case?
Do you ride with the spools on the bike or should i always remove them before driving?
I always ride with the spools on, they work as sliders in the event of a drop, but keep in mind it can impact your lean angle if you are an aggressive leaner
@BlueEyedRider84 thanks for the reply :) So i think I'll just keep them installed. Maybe with a bit of locktite on should do the job. I wouldn't call myself an aggressive leaner. The 1000SX is my first bike and I had like 40° maximum so far 😅
Fully synthetic eh ?
That's what I use in everything
Great vídeo. Congrats. Only need to show everything assembled with sides.
I agree - I should have shown the finished product as a whole
Nice bag, but holy crappers, in Canada on Amazon, $159 + $25 shipping. For $184 I'll buy a back pack and bungie cord it to my bike. That's ridiculous.
It was pricey when I got mine, but only $110. Everything has gone up. I like it though, but yes - a strapped backpack would work too.
These videos will be a contributing factor in my decision to buy a 2025 Ninja 1100 SX SE. I'm currently on a 2018 Gold Wing and looking for a change. I always prefer doing my own maintenance on my bike and you are making it look really easy! Thanks you!
I went from a GoldWing to a 1000SX! No regrets. While not as comfortable as a GoldWing, the lighter bike makes it worth the while. Glad the videos may be of help!
I am on 3rd Ninja 1k - yr 12 (total approx 11k miles) 15yr still own 22k miles, and now a 24yr, I always pre filled oil filter at least half way and then finished pouring in the rest of the amount couple of quick start stops of engine, walk away come back and check levels and top off if needed. never had the burp issue this was for 12 and 15, have not done oil change on 24 yet.
I've never had the burp issue and I never pre-fill the filter, but some do run into the problem.
Thank You - I bought 24 used (655 miles) and yes smoking deal including tour pkg for more than 1k less than new price for just motorcycle lol - Appreciate you giving details incl torque specs - need to check mine since i am fixing some bad install of parts by bike shop. (example they installed OEM Heated Grips and could not correctly install connector to correct OEM harness for grips, used the 12V Outlet harness connector, but could not figure out the issue, and other small issues.) I have bike tore apart and going over everything and i installed BLASTER-X Brand Tail light this thing is awesome if you have not heard of their product.
I put a CustomLED taillight on mine, so haven't checked out the Blaster-X. Good idea to go over everything on a used bike. Never know what bolts could be missing, not torqued right or even tightened down, wiring disasters, etc. If you need any info on a specific item feel free to reach out. I have the service manual so can get you torque specs if needed, etc.
Thanks mate. I'm looking forward to doing some ongoing maintenance on my 2015 Ninja 1000. To date I've been lazy and just paid for everything to be done, but being moderately handy at other things, I'm going to give it a shot Really appreciate the work you put into your vids and big cheers from your newest Aussie subscriber - Dave
Glad they are helpful! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Hey what’s size is the crush washer. Thanks in advance.
It's an M12. Links to everything I use are in the video description, but direct link to the washers I use: amzn.to/3NtVNmf
Excellent video, thanks for this. Could you please let me know the exact name of the mount you used for your garmin. Thanks and regards from Switzerland
Which mount are you referring to? The wind screen mount? If so link is in the video description as well as the other components. Here is the mount: www.aliexpress.us/item/3256801571445019.html
@@BlueEyedRider84 thanks for this. I wonder if the mount you refere to fits also on my ninja 1000sx 2024 (edition 40 years ninja anniversary)?
Great video, very informative. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Did you feel any performance increase after replacing?
A little more responsive, better gas mileage, and seems like it pulls a little more in the higher RPMs. You won't experience the full performance impact unless you improve the entire flow of air, in other words, exhaust. More air in means more air out, and if you have the stock exhaust like I do it won't let you feel the full potential of a higher flow air filter.
@@BlueEyedRider84 thank you for your response. As I do touring, I don't like the sound of aftermarket exhaust as it numbs my ear in the long run.
❤ thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
Hi, great video, can you please tell me this blue jacket looks like mesh ... is what brand?
Yes, it is mesh. It's the Joe Rocket Alter Ego 3.0 jacket (3 season) - though now they have newer ones.
I should add that I am planning on replacing it with the Olympia Airglide Jacket sometime in the near future - it's due for a replacement. The problem I have with the Joe Rocket is it seems a little short. Everything else fits perfect, but it just rides up my back. I like the Olympia Airglide pants, so hoping the Jacket is the same way.
YAY HOO HOO. that’s funny. Cagers drive me nuts. Great point about watching your back. ALWAYS factor in where’s your escape route in case you’re about to be plowed into from the rear.
Yea, and it seems every year they get worse. Ride safe, keep the rubber side down
Is there a product out there that would cover over the rear seat. Like a seat cowling, hiding the passenger seat? I had one for my ZX12 and was always impressed with how it looked. BTW, you should, if you’re not already, an instructor. Your tone, pace and humanness when you blooper is very comforting to watch. Just bought my 2023 with 4000km's on her but came with no owners manual. So these vids are VERY helpful. Cheers
Thanks for the kind words. Being an instructor would be kind of fun, just not in the cards at this time. I am not aware of a seat cowling that covers the seat on the 1000sx, just replaces it. It is possible someone makes an aftermarket that would cover the seat, but at this time I have not seen any.
Thank you for making this video. Everything went exactly as illustrated. 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Got anything on removing the fuel injectors? I'm lost at how to get the throttle body offf
Unfortunately I do not. I haven't go to that extent yet so do not have a video. I may be able to offer some guidance though, unless you have already figured it out? I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.
Great video. Would it be in the same location for a 2016 sx? Thanks
I am not 100% positive but I believe so
I don't even have a retaining clip on the right side of my ninja, is that bad?
If the bolt somehow loosened it could back out and your wheel alignment could easily go out or worse. I would try and get that clip replaced.
Thank you
You're welcome
Hi. Do you have a video on how to replace the spark plugs?
No I do not. Even though Kawasaki calls for them to be replaced at very low mileage, they are NGK Iridium - they can go 100k miles, though I would change them at 50k miles. Since I haven't put that mileage on I haven't done them yet.
Great install video. Just finished installing this system on my 20' SX. How has the fasting system held up securing the top plate and mount to the rack? I had the Givi rack system but was not to real big on the weight of the system bolted to the subframe. TIA Ride safe!
Everything has held up great and I have had zero issues with it, other than being a little tight to get the key in for the rear seat compartment lol.
@@BlueEyedRider84 LOL You are correct about the lock access😄. It is a really simple setup I was just a tad concerned about the plate mount to the rack. Thanks for the conformation and ride safe!
I regret not watching your video before adjusting the chain.😭
Oh no, hopefully nothing major happened
Many thanks. First time owner and rider.
Always welcome
Thanks for this. I plan to use this to clean and hopefully cure the squealing my bike has.
You're welcome. I hope it works for you
On some bikes the seat is a pain to remove which makes these really cumbersome to use.
They aren't really that good even if the seat is easy to remove, but some people do use them.
Hey man I know this is an old video but if youre still around can you tell me if the bag in the video is the touring size one?
It is the touring one
