And you wanna know something that will piss you off? The way to beat Canary Mary is to not do perfectly as she has the same rubberband AI as the Mario kart games. Something i didn't learn until 20 or more years later from a TH-cam video.
It's refreshing to find someone who actually gives Tooie a bit of respect, I don't know what happened between Tooie's release and today that made people dislike Tooie so much.
If you compare it directly to Kazooie in the same field of 3D platformer, Kazooie is paced to near perfection and Tooie forces the player to leap through a lot of hoops to get stuff done. It wasn’t until I read that Rare considered Tooie an action adventure game in the vein of Zelda that I was able to look at it differently and enjoy it a lot more
Personally I’ve loved tooie since it came out because it was like twice the game as kazooie. I think a lot of modern hate comes from how much more of a pain it is to replay/speedrun tooie because of the backtracking. Playing it as a kid for the first time though was incredible. Most other games available up until that time were more linear and 3D games were still relatively new and online play wasn’t a thing yet so to have a game as complex and intertwined as tooie was a cool thing I thought.
@@pythonstudios4129Yes, I think the same. Backtracking was not only not a big deal back then, it actually helped with immersion and it was really fun. Today it feels annoying because we are more used to games that get to the point.
Tooie is brilliant. It's so well-made and ambitious, and it's kind of crazy how much of my memories of BK are actually from Tooie -- the humor and vibes, specifically. That said, I replay BK much, much more often than BT. It's so much more digestible and so much less frustrating. Tooie is incredible, but I need to come to it with a certain mindset, and life has to be just right to allow me to enjoy it.
Click Clock Wood is a Banjo Tooie level stuck in Banjo Kazooie. It's amazing and ambitious, but it requires so much more of you. In the context of Tooie, I bet it would be a favorite of most players instead of something so divisive.
As someone who prefers Banjo Tooie to Kazooie, that makes sense as to why Click Clock Wood is my favorite level in the original game. Witchyworld is my favorite level in Tooie.
Jolly Roger is pretty sweet. The way they managed to make that cozy town be the entrance to a water level without having to worry about drowning, that's how you made a water level awesome! I'll always love Click Clock Woods, and always hate it for only allowing the Bee transformation in the Spring section.
A theory on why Jolly Roger's Lagoon hits it out of the park so well: The team at Rare had been _dying_ to make a level like it since before Banjo was even born; I can easily imagine a place like JRL being a frequently visited hub town in the pirate adventure Project Dream that never was! Small wonder Captain Blackeye likes to hang out there.
How did I know that Click Clock Wood was going to be near the bottom of the list? I love that world so much and it was always the highlight of my Banzo-Kazooie playthroughs. Sometimes I think the only reason I started a new playthrough was because I wanted to experience that single world from start to finish again.
This might be a really hot take, but my favorite level in kazooie is Rusty Bucket Bay and my favorite tooie level is Grunty Industries. I always have the most fun in those worlds, the themes are amazing and pulled of well, plus dont even get me started on their music
Exact same here, I have looked at so many ranking stuff just to see them constantly berated. Solid challenging platforming for RBB, amazing exploration labyrinth for GI
Didn't think I'd find someone else who likes Jolly Roger best. I remember RPing myself on vacation to the town and going on a shopping spree when I was a kid. The water areas didn't interest me as much as first but later in life I came to find it pretty well done for a water level. Those are hard to get right.
When I was young, I really liked treasure trove cove cause I actually felt like a pirate on secret island hideout. Looking for the marked treasure jiggy was quite a thrill for five year old me. Reaching the top of the lighthouse (with the music fading away to a wind breeze was a nice touch) felt like you were on top of the world... Literally. The crab bossfight was quite in theme of the world and being able to fly freely was so cool. Finding the jinjo's actually felt like another treasure hunt. But being a young child, I really NOPE'd out at clanker's cavern, the fella scared me so much, I was afraid to proceed into the level. Yeah it was only after my older sister told me he was a friendly ally I needed to save, that I found the courage to proceed the game. That level was my least favourite, just because of that first interaction. For Tooie, I felt like WitchyWold was ON the spot with it's theming, challenges and diverse areas. Although it had a some backtracking, I really felt like I was in a wicked amusement park trying to stop the bear and bird. Each new area felt like a "what can I expect here?" when you enter it. Just the right amount of difficulty for the age I was. Fun and exciting. Grunty Industries was WAAAAY too hard for a young child to solve though. Even more backtracking, crazy layout to memorize, hard puzzles... Just a level too high for being young. As an adult I appreciate that world a bit more now, odly enough. It's a bit less challenging and felt more like a puzzle world you needed to solve. It's actually designed really well by the devs to make everything work the way it is, it's just... a bit too big with too much backtracking/dead ends if you're not familiar with the layout. Having replayed it as an adult a couple of years ago, I still like treasure trove cove the most out of all the levels, with mayahem temple taking the spot for tooie. As a first level, it has very sweet game design that I didn't notice as a kid. It felt like such a huuuuge level the first time I played it, but after replaying it, I felt the level fits quite well with being a tutorial level, but without being handheld the whole time. It's easy to navigate and a very welcoming intro for the second game. Terrydactyland being my least fav for tooie, for the exact same reasons that were said in the vid, and it felt like such a burden. It had too many "do x first, y second and z last" before being awarded with a jiggy. Examples being finding the cavemen first, then find a way to blow their butts. The dinosaur that lost her 3 kids had a lot work to do. The whole mumbo/humba thing. Reaching the top of the mountain also felt like a chore, with falling down being a severe punishment. Bubblegloop swamp became my least fav as an adult, cause yeah... it felt so booooring. Each zone felt simple and dull, it's not even memorable imo. I can't think of one jiggy that's fun, they're all too straightforward. It feels like actual work just to get things done and collect all the things before you can move on to the next level. Rusty Bucket is infamous, but at least that level has more memorable moments than that dull swamp imo. PS: I'm on a drunk nostalgic trip atm, wasn't meant to write down a bible of text just to say "treasure trove is GOAT". My bad, imma sleep now.
As a child I was so obsessed with dinosaurs that it caused me to have nostalgia for that level despite all the backtracking. As an adult I really grew to appreciate the uniqueness of Grunty's Industries, especially at the start of the stage
I don’t hate Grunty’s Industries as much as I did on my first playthrough, but it’s still annoying to navigate and figure out. Another case of the music helping out a lot with my enjoyment. Tooie’s soundtrack in general is some of Kirkhope’s finest work
Its crazy how many people struggle with canary mary just because people don't understand Rubber band AI and how easy it can be to manipulate. To save everyone the trouble, you need to stay a bit behind her at all times so she's forced to slow down. The trick is not going too slow or you lose the race while staying far enough away that her speed is at least manageable to keep up with. Its just a matter of enduring the slower pace until you swoop in at the very end. This was exactly how the boggy races were programmed as well. The mistake EVERYONE makes in both of these races is assuming that speed is everything when in reality thats only going to have the AI's speed snap so hard they overpower you. Its called rubber band for a reason, and many games use it.
Forreal, MK64 and Canary Mary are the 2 prime examples of rubber banding.. Its easy when you find out you barley have to tap the buttons the whole race, then on the final straight away take off and loose her 😂 this works for the cheato page to.
I'll say this, I could not forsee ANY of these rankings lol. After Terrydactyland and Rusty Bucket Bay, I was like "okay, now here comes Grunty Industries" but nope! Jolly Roger's Lagoon is also one of my favorites, in particular because they made an underwater level not just tolerable, but very fun.
As a kid I used to hate Jolly Roger's Lagoon, only maturity made me see the positive aspects of it. It is such a gem within the game and I learned to appreciate it, specially coming before Terrydactyland
I agree. Hail fire peaks would have made a better final level it honestly felt a bit line click clock wood. If it was just summer and winter.For kazooie Gobis valley was the best level for me too
Honestly I love Rusty Bucket Bay because I really enjoy how merciless it is. A nice change of pace to every other level in the series. Also the concept and theme alone is super unique, and the music slaps.
Treasure Trove Cove is one of my favorites in Kazooie. The pirate theme, the sense of adventure, and I find the Jaws parody being named Snacker hilarious. As a kid, it was pretty scary to hear those strings, but now it’s a good chuckle.
The submarine being "a possible way to complete challenges" is the defining reason it's a great transformation. In any series in this genre, multiple avenues is key. Kazooie's transformation was always my favorite.
I do like terrydactiland a Lot ಠ︵ಠ. That said i can respect someone who saves the top places for witchyworld and Jolly Roger Lagoona. Nothing Beats Davy jones locker
Suggestion for future vids: When commenting on a song, ensure to play it for us for at least 5 seconds to help us remember it. Commenting on it without playing it just leaves us wondering, such as the part with the balloon boss. Great video overall, even if I disagree with some of your picks lol
I also never enjoyed Click Clock Wood. Extremely tedious, and I’ve stopped going for 100% and settled for beating Grunty due to dying before I can finish a challenge and not having the interest in starting over with the seasonal events.
I don't agree with Click Clockwood or Cloud Cuckooland as I found those levels quite enjoyable and nothing about them really bothered me, except the Mary Canary Race which was the biggest downfall of Cloud Cuckooland but other than that, I love the wackiness of the level and the seasons of Click Clockwood. But otherwise, good list. Freezezy Peak, Treasure Trove Cove and Witchy World were awesome.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 thx for putting so much love in that video ( guess you also do that in your other videos ). Banjo & Kazooie / Tooie is my childhood !! 😍😍😍 greetings from Germany
Terrydactyland would be so much better if it didn’t have the daddy t-tex transformation. Then the whole world wouldn't have to be so massive to accommodate its size. The rest of the time, you have to tread across that space the hard way. And to add insult to injury, you don't even do a lot as the daddy t-rex anyway. You just roar at a caveman, press a switch to get 1 jinjo, and you're done. That's really not worth making a level have so much giant enclosed empty space. If not for that, many instances in navigating and backtracking the world would not overstay their welcome nearly as much.
Well on the N64 version everyone was using the super Banjo cheat which makes you run super fast. On the xbox version if you can use the cheat and then get 30 jiggy’s, next time you start up the game the 30 jiggies would be gone 💀
Banjo Tooie, and even MORESO DK64, highlight how the bigger levels were rarely a plus: You defenitely need key landmarks and tight layout as sandbox worlds can be long enough WITHOUT getting turned around
@@ivanavi123 Cloud CuckooLand and Witchyworld had probalby the best layouts, as everything was so distinctvie. Terrydactyland or Glitter Gulch Mine I found everything looks the same for large stretches and were a slog to get through
@@daniel_organero_perez5330 No necesarily: Mayahem temple didn't and it was FARILY good at preventing getting lost, mainly because you have very distinctvive landmarks; there are about 3 key "paths you can follow: one leading to the temple in the main clearing with things on the way: and the two doors you open lead to certain paths, also with key landmarks. The problem with, say Terrydactyland, is that many of the caves and entrances you can find all look the same, or at least it's hard to tell one from the other, or forget which one is where. Bubblegloop swamp in the first game breaks off into many paths, BUT the landmarks are so distinctive you're unlikely to get lost
Your list is way different from mine, but I love hearing your explanations. Needless to say, these games have something for everybody, and thats one of the many reasons why this game is so awesome.
My list is alsmost the opposite of Yours (I created one just while watching Your vid XP ) but nontheless I can't disagree with almost anything You said! XD Cheers from Germany =D
16:18 just some extra info...there are supposedly plans/layouts plans for Cauldron Keep, meaning it's really an incomplete level, but due to time constraints this is what we got...which is awesome anyways! Cool video bro!
My personal favorite level is grunty industrys! Although the backtracking and size is comparable to my least favorate (terrydactyland) grunty industries actually makes sense to be big and hard to get around! (Also the music is amazing)
Looking forward to the Banjo Kazooie GBA retrospective and hearing your thoughts (and then updating this list). Also I’m among the Grunty Industry haters. Navigating it is a nightmare so I spend as little time as possible in that world and get the bare essentials needed to complete the game
Very interesting ranking, especially love the Tooie stuff since that's my personal favorite over Kazooie. My ranking would be: 17.Glitter Gulch Mine: I actually get lost in this level, plus worst transformation and bad Goldeneye segment (yeah that's what I like to call those lol). 16. Rusty Bucket Bay: if a player has to complete a level in a specific order to not lose notes collected, you know your design was off. 15. Bubblegoop Swamp: Can be annoying to traverse and the minigame is unnecessary difficult (not fun to return with the speedy shoes because Kazooie doesn't ask you to backtrack with one single exception). 14. Click Clock Wood: Awesome theme but the verticality you go through four different times ruins it. 13. Clanker's Cavern: swimming too deep to free Clanker ruins an interesting water level I'm afraid (when I mean "ruins", I'm saying it makes a level a bit worse, I enjoy all of these to an extent!). 12. Terrydactyland: too big and empty at times but still fun to explore! 11. Mumbo's Mountain: basic but enjoyable! 10. Hailfire Peaks: too segmented, traversing the Fire side is a bit annoying tbh and unnecessary return of a minigame. Still cool concept. 9. Treasure Trove Cove: Very good but still a bit basic! 8. Cloud Cuckooland: Canary Mary may you rot in hailfire. Fun transformation and exploration though! Difficult but satisfying. 7. Freezezy Peak: One single flaw, the obligatory backtrack. 6. Gobi's Valley: Great! 5. Mayhem Temple: Fantastic first impression! 4. Mad Monster Mansion: Spooky cool theme plus full of secrets to explore! Great! 3. Witchyworld: Quite frankly the top 3 is interchangeable. One single small flaw: opening the Dodgy Dodgem minigame. 2. Jolly Roger's Lagoon: One of the best water levels in gaming! Highly recommend getting the secret A+B water technique from the gold fish first! 1. Grunty Industries: I absolutely adore exploring this building and finding my way through. Every floor feels like a whole level. Also best boss!
It's wild to me that Gobi's Valley and Jolly Roger Lagoon are your favorite of each respective game, because my opinion is so drastically different from yours, but that's the magic and joy of these games; none of the levels are *bad*, and nobody has an incorrect opinion about what worlds are their favorites.
Well I would say second to live up to its full potential number will always be dragon Kazooie she was boss sauce unlimited fire eggs fire breath I loved that transformation
Wild. I love this series, but Witchyworld made me realize how much I liked Banjo Kazooie more than Tooie. Lol That level feels so slow and monotonous to me. Tooie has this weird knack for making colors feel drab and dulled. The game is pretty creative, but everything feels a little less full of character than Kazooie to me. I was playing through Your a few years ago and once I got to Witchyworld I just stopped. Lol
Fun fact, it's actually NOT a speed test. If you push the button at a consistent speed, Canary Mary will not speed up and wil hang out right in front of you. Once you get to the end, you just mash and you win. It's harder than the jiggy because its also longer, but if you keep tempo, you'll win easy (harder on n64 than xbox)
11:00 Grunty industries is a level that grows on me more with each playthrough Hailfire Peaks will always be my number 1 though... curious to see where you rank it in the rest of the top 10
Rusty Bucket Bay was always my least favorite. It definitely deserves to be at the bottom of the list. It's actually a cool looking level and i like the music. But its a pain in the ass. Lol
Great video but I don't agree on a lot, but that's great in a way, something for everyone. My favorite is Mad Monster Mansion and I also love Click Clock Wood, it's a top 7 for me or so. I don't like Hailfire Peaks though and Cloud Cocculand is by far the worst level. My biggest controversial pick is that I ranked Witchyworld at 16, second worst. I never liked the theme, I always get stuck like "how do i access this section, where do I go" etc, it's quite complicated for an early level, and the challenges etc aren't very fun.
Bro I disagreed with 90% of what you said but also liked and subscribed. Although honestly totally agree on Grunty Industries, it's over-hated. ALSO MAYAHEM TEMPLE OVER TTC? noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I thought Rusty Bucket Bay and Click Clock Wood were the best levels in Kazooie. But I do agree that Cloud Cuckooland is basically the worst Banjo level period, and just wasn't really fun to play. I still consider Banjo to be my favorite game franchise ever, even at its worst.
I like Jolly Roger's Lagoon and even I wasn't expecting it to rank higher than Witchy World. Certainly there'd be enough people putting JRL at the bottom to DQ it from ever being at the top. lol
i honestly didn't expect rusty bucket bay to be so low, or disliked in general. it's probably my favorite level in any platformer game ever. the theme with the oil tanker is very unique and executed so well, the music absolutely slaps and it is decently challenging while still being fair at all times. back when the game was new and i played the level for the first time i liked it but didn't think too much about it, but now when i think about it as an adult it absolutely blows my mind how someone at rare was like "you know what this game really needs? an oil tanker" and then they all went hell yeah and created this banger of a level.
Maybe you know this already and maybe it's still difficult even after you learn this (haven't played in a while), but for canary mary in cloud cuckooland, I remember it helping me a lot to know that you need to stay just behind her the entire time due to her rubber banding. If you pass her, she speeds up so you can't catch up. If you wait until the very end to try to pass, it should make things soooo much easier.
Whenever I hear Banjo-Kazooie I think of Click Clock Wood. That level has left such a huge nostalgia mark through the eyes of a young lad. I love nature themed levels and the mechanic of exploring a world through its seasonal changes always sounded intriguing to me. Along with Pokemon Snap or Zelda games (OOT, Oracle of Seasons) those were the games that set free my imagination in places I actually wanted to live in. I never wanted to live in Rusty Bucket Bay.
As I watch this (currently at the Rusty Bucket Bay section) I find myself realizing that I hate all of the industrial type levels in this franchise. Like I cannot find a single redeeming quality about any of them. Id rather do Click Clock Woods on the N64 and I hate playing the N64 version of BK due to how much better the Xbox version is.
I really wish Nintendo would get ahold of Tooie, never got to play it during the N64 days and it's just...annoying, that Microsoft has it. And I've always wanted to play it, but retro game stores and collectors charge way too much for console and cart. I mean comon Nintendo, you gonna let Sony have Mario next?
I can't help but adore Rusty Bucket Bay. Probably a side effect of my hyperfixation with naval stories, particularly in the great lakes. The whole level has this whimsical, Popeye-esque feel to me. The level is very difficult, yes, but I don't find it to be too much of a chore if you do engine room first. Also, best soundtrack in Banjo Kazooie and I will die on that hill.
Don't forget to like and subscribe while you're here! Become a member if you'd like to support me, and thanks so much for watching!

Thanks! I know it's a hot take lol
Suggestion for future vids: When commenting on a song, ensure to play it for us for at least 5 seconds to help us remember it. Commenting on it without playing it just leaves us wondering, such as the part with the balloon boss. Great video overall, even if I disagree with some of your picks lol
interesting choice for #1. I always thought grunty industries was underrated and it's my #1
It's underrated for sure
I also never enjoyed Click Clock Wood. Extremely tedious, and I’ve stopped going for 100% and settled for beating Grunty due to dying before I can finish a challenge and not having the interest in starting over with the seasonal events.
Will probably never love another video game the way I love "Banjo-Kazooie." Some of the best times ever playing that game
Great video! My hot take, which may not even be that hot, is that even the "worst" Banjo level is still a great level
We definitely agree that Rusty Bucket Bay SUCKS! I can’t tell you how many times that oily water has killed me! 😤
Great ranking, Witchyworld is my personal #1. Banjo-Tooie is so underrated.
Great video and I found it interesting to hear your rankings - despite not agreeing with your list AT ALL 😂
Thanks! I love friendly disagreement lol
I found Banjo Tooie to be hard to follow, I'd get lost easily and forget where I left off or how to start from where I left off.
I love your videos.😍
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 thx for putting so much love in that video ( guess you also do that in your other videos ). Banjo & Kazooie / Tooie is my childhood !! 😍😍😍 greetings from Germany
Thank you for the love in this comment!
My list would be:
17: Grunty Industries
16: Rusty Bucket Bay
15: Jolly Roger's Lagoon
14: Terrydactyland
13: Bubblegloop Swamp
12: Hailfire Peaks
11: Cloud Cuckooland
10: Mumbo's Mountain
9: Clanker's Cavern
8: Glitter Gulch Mine
7: Gobi's Valley
6: Freezeasy Peak
5: Mayahem Temple
4: Treasure Trove Cove
3: Click Clock Wood
2: Mad Monster Mansion
1: Witchyworld
Terrydactyland should be number one, because it gave us "Wo ist Kazooie".
That's an excellent point
Well on the N64 version everyone was using the super Banjo cheat which makes you run super fast. On the xbox version if you can use the cheat and then get 30 jiggy’s, next time you start up the game the 30 jiggies would be gone 💀
21 minutes and 37 seconds videos, its a nice thing for the polish audience so thank you
Long live John Paul II
Clanker’s Cavern’s music cranks its rank way up for me. It’s probably my favorite song in the game. Very catchy, fun, and a little sinister.
Banjo Tooie, and even MORESO DK64, highlight how the bigger levels were rarely a plus: You defenitely need key landmarks and tight layout as sandbox worlds can be long enough WITHOUT getting turned around
I completely agree with dk64, but I personally think banjo Tooie's levels are perfectly sized and laid out really nicely!
@@ivanavi123 Cloud CuckooLand and Witchyworld had probalby the best layouts, as everything was so distinctvie. Terrydactyland or Glitter Gulch Mine I found everything looks the same for large stretches and were a slog to get through
@@elephantmarch it just sounds like if the world does not use the donut central object format for its layout you dislike it.
@@elephantmarch every single example uses the central object donut formula, BGS is the only debatable one id say but still point proven.
Interesting choices for me, it would be
17 = Jolly Roger's Lagoon
16 = Clanker's Cavern
15 = Grunty Industries
14 = Glitter Gulch Mine
13 = Rusty Bucket Bay
12 = Mayahem Temple
11 = Cloud Cuckooland
10 = Mumbo's Mountain
9 = Mad Monster Mansion
8 = Click Clock Wood
7 = Terrydactyland
6 = Bubblegloop Swamp
5 = Hailfire Peaks
4 = Witchyworld
3 = Gobi's Valley
2 = Freezeezy Peak
1 = Treasure Trove Cove
Not seeing grunty industries at rock bottom was kinda refreshing ngl
Grunty Industries is my favorite level, but I can't talk about it with someone without having a beef hahaha
Your list is way different from mine, but I love hearing your explanations. Needless to say, these games have something for everybody, and thats one of the many reasons why this game is so awesome.
Well said, I couldn't agree more!
My list is alsmost the opposite of Yours (I created one just while watching Your vid XP ) but nontheless I can't disagree with almost anything You said! XD
Cheers from Germany =D
Thanks my friend, you are too kind! That's what happens when you have two games full of great levels, all of them are somebody's favorite!
16:18 just some extra info...there are supposedly plans/layouts plans for Cauldron Keep, meaning it's really an incomplete level, but due to time constraints this is what we got...which is awesome anyways!
Cool video bro!
Thanks! That makes total sense.
My personal favorite level is grunty industrys! Although the backtracking and size is comparable to my least favorate (terrydactyland) grunty industries actually makes sense to be big and hard to get around! (Also the music is amazing)
My feelings exactly!
Witchy world is number 1!
Looking forward to the Banjo Kazooie GBA retrospective and hearing your thoughts (and then updating this list).
Also I’m among the Grunty Industry haters. Navigating it is a nightmare so I spend as little time as possible in that world and get the bare essentials needed to complete the game
21:37 video lenght. We love You in Poland now ;)
Very interesting ranking, especially love the Tooie stuff since that's my personal favorite over Kazooie. My ranking would be:
17.Glitter Gulch Mine: I actually get lost in this level, plus worst transformation and bad Goldeneye segment (yeah that's what I like to call those lol).
I love any media on this series. Please keep em coming
Great ranking! Great video!
Wild. I love this series, but Witchyworld made me realize how much I liked Banjo Kazooie more than Tooie. Lol
That level feels so slow and monotonous to me. Tooie has this weird knack for making colors feel drab and dulled. The game is pretty creative, but everything feels a little less full of character than Kazooie to me.
I was playing through Your a few years ago and once I got to Witchyworld I just stopped. Lol
6:29 there's a secret to that races, you have to rely on the rubberband effect at the start and tap the button at a slower pace
Rusty Bucket Bay: Bad level, amazing music.
If you play the XB version of the games, you don’t need to collect all 100 notes in one go.
The Canary Mary cheato scroll is the worst. I feel bad that I have to pause regularly just so my arm can recover to continue the race
Jolly Roger's Lagoon really captures the 'adventure' aspect of Tooie, and how it steps a bit further in that direction than just platformer.
Couldn't agree more!
I def dont agree with the list but i can respect the views, loved this vid and the retrospect's! Keep up the awesome videos man
Thank you, you're too kind!
11:00 Grunty industries is a level that grows on me more with each playthrough
Hailfire Peaks will always be my number 1 though... curious to see where you rank it in the rest of the top 10
Rusty Bucket Bay was always my least favorite. It definitely deserves to be at the bottom of the list. It's actually a cool looking level and i like the music. But its a pain in the ass. Lol
I’d say Clankers Cavern in Banjo Kazooie and Grunty Industries in Banjo Tooie were my least favorite levels in those games.
Can you imagine if there weren't warp pads 😂
Hell yeah, Terrydactyland haters unite.
All my homies hate Terrydactyland
I just wish tooies levels weren’t so dark but otherwise I like the size.
Might be a bit biased, but here's my list (the first two are pretty much tied):
1. WitchyWorld
2. Terrydactyland
3. Grunty Industries
4. Hailfire Peaks
5. Jolly Roger's Lagoon
6. Mayahem Temple
7. Mad Monster Mansion
8. Mumbo's Mountain
9. Treasure Trove Cove
10. Bubblegloop Swamp
11. Glitter Gulch Mine
12. Cloud Cuckooland
13. Click Clock Wood
14. Freezezy Peak
15. Clanker's Cavern
16. Gobi's Valley
17. Rusty Bucket Bay
I agreed with some of the points you made and disagreed with others, but great video ranking the worlds from two great games!
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Click clock wood is my favorite of alls
yeah.. Jolly Roger's is my fav too. I love your videos. I look forward to each one. just stellar to listen to. keep em coming!
Even if I only agree with the Terrydactyland ranking, I'll keep watching your vids because I can't get enough of Banjo stuff
Thank you! I'm glad we could at least agree on Terrydactyland lol
Loving these videos. Would be cool to hear you rank the Tooie bosses independent of their worlds and transformations in the same way.
That's actually not a bad idea!
I really enjoyed the video!
I really enjoyed this comment! Thanks!
Bro I disagreed with 90% of what you said but also liked and subscribed. Although honestly totally agree on Grunty Industries, it's over-hated. ALSO MAYAHEM TEMPLE OVER TTC? noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I'm sorryyyyy but thank you so much for the comment and subscribe!
I've thought this for years, Jolly Roger Lagoon is the best water level of any game and there isn't even a close 2nd place
I don’t mean to be hyperbolic but putting Click Clock woods so low, is the most insane thing in history
Well said!
Awesome video!
Favorite level: Rusty Bucket Bay HATED level: Bubblegloop swamp
Banjo tooie is the best. Better worlds , better music, better bosses, changing kazooie into a dragon .. I can keep going
18:03 my favorite
Great video & list 👍🏼
I really enjoyed Terrydactyland in my current play-through of Tooie. I liked picking apart the mountain’s layout and how best to tackle it.
"ancillary"
Whoa, okay! Alright, I see!
"Ostensibly"
Wow! That's not one you hear every day!
"My most favoritest"
Whiplash of a different nature
😂
17 - Cloud Cuckooland
16 - Gobi's Valley
15 - Bublegloop Swamp
14 - Mumbo's Mountain
13 - Rusty Bucket Bay
12 - Clanker's Cavern
11 - Terrydactyland
10 - Glitter Gulch Mine
9 - Jolly Roger's Lagoon
8 - Click Clock Wood
7 - Mayahem Temple
6 - Freezezy Peak
5 - Treasure Trove Cove
4 - Hailfire Peaks
3 - Grunty Industries
2 - Mad Monster Mansion
1 - Withyworld
Man, all the worlds are great/good, except Cloud Cuckooland
🤮
I can't help but adore Rusty Bucket Bay. Probably a side effect of my hyperfixation with naval stories, particularly in the great lakes. The whole level has this whimsical, Popeye-esque feel to me. The level is very difficult, yes, but I don't find it to be too much of a chore if you do engine room first. Also, best soundtrack in Banjo Kazooie and I will die on that hill.
This is a tier list I have a lot of disagreements with damn clanker over bubblegloop??
Do a move ranking video between the two games because I don’t think anyone has ever done one
Not a bad idea!
