Total legend living the dream.. bet it gets lonely on occasion missing the family, I know I do after only a short trip away. Thanks for your content, keep it real and keep working at it. You deserve so many more subscribers, looking forward to watching your channel continue to grow. 👍
I really enjoyed watching this series 10 weeks I have been watching. Longest relationship I've had in years . LOL. But love when you film nature the scenery animals everything is so beautiful. You make people feel like they're fishing right along with you. Thank you for bringing us along on your adventures.
Favorite part of the series is a tough one, because each episode had its own magic. I would say the best part for me was when your stove died right in the beginning and your positive attitude to just keep going, cause I guess there really is no other choice eh? Finding that gold nugget was epic, that was also maybe my favorite, but the whole series was great, all the fish, rapids, just everything man. P.S. you and Ted are absolute legends.
They were all amazing!!! However, the cabin video was my favorite. I love the portaging monologue and the sleepy time tea segment. Thanks for such a great series.
You know Jim, may I call you Jim? Sitting at my kitchen table/office, watching you through this adventure is a treat! Your adventures inspired me to go out and explore our beautiful country, which I am ever so grateful for. Thank you!
I hope Yukon Tourism realizes what you're doing in showing us all the beauty of the province! 🙂 Definitely it has moved up on my bucket list of places I will visit. Thanks Jim.
This was so good! Perfect ending, perfect music, perfect shot you looking down upon the Yukon. I can almost hear the Yukon calling your name, like it was telling you to stay don't leave. So beautiful. So much more to explore & enjoy. Now that last meal was very inviting! Tori fixed you up good with knowing how to dehydrate the sauce & meat. I loved looking out the plane window looking out over the rivers, the landscape, so beautiful. Look forward to seeing you, Tori, Wesley, & Hudson. They'll be glad to have you back home.
I’ve been looking forward to each and every video in this series, sad to see it end. Thank you for one of the best adventure channels on TH-cam, can’t wait for your next endeavor! 🚣🏻
This was a great series. Enjoyed the weekly releases, looked forward to each episode. Thank you for letting us experience your adventures. You're a brave dude!
Great series as always Jim! Always enjoy watching your many adventures, your awesome filming makes us feel like we are floating down the river with you. The scenery was epic! Thanks for taking us along.--MARLYS
I've totally enjoyed your trip! What a perfect adventure. I've canoed down a river in my younger years. I hold that adventure very dear. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure.❤️
Hi Jim want to send a BIG thank you to you for sharing this adventure. I had the great pleasure of living in the Yukon for 25 years, in Whitehorse and near Whitehorse. One thing I loved about it was back then I was a young man and could do what you accomplished solo. I never did a canoe trip up there, but living out of town with my wife and three boys was always an adventure. One thing that always stands out to me is that I met and watched so many men live out their dreams for business and for lifestyle. Once again thank you, and may God bless all your future canoe trips :)
Well Jim another great journey and I'm sorry to see it end ,so much to explore along the way if you had more time but we enjoyed it with you and Tori and the boys will be glad to have you home .Love Light and Peace to you all stay safe and healthy 😘
I really enjoyed this epic trip JB! You executed it perfectly without getting hooped! I know it's a pain always having to haul and set up cameras everywhere, bit I want you to know that we all appreciate your hard work to be able to share your incredible adventures with us. All good stuff Brother! #keepitburning
Fantastic adventure and relaxing last day. I'm just totally amazed at the fortitude, strength and energy it takes to do these trips! Especially with the single bladed paddle and no stove. Wonderful scenery, great video and editing. That chili with noodles looked really good. The flight back to Mayo was scenic. I always look forward to your next adventure! Take care.
Your videos, commentary and epic trips are beyond inspiring. I would just say to everyone to post links to this guy's videos to all your friends. He should be way over a million subscribers.
Favourite part? Aside from the fantastic landscapes of Canada, brilliant paddling, the physicality of the experience, individual achievement, my favourite part was the end when you ponder how next to chase the dragon.
I have to say, I get nervous when you tell us how far you need to travel, but take so much time too fish, pan gold and explore the area. LOVE, love, love your adventures, Jim!
Well because I have a J-O-B that looks very much different than yours, I missed out on alot along the way. But what I did see was very injoyable. My hat off to you for doing what you do, an take the time to take us along. Very injoyable video, well what I seen anyway.
Jim, Thank you! Hubby and I love our Saturday mornings off watching your adventures and always sad when the last episode plays. But! we know you have many more adventures for us coming up. Thanks to Tori and the kids for being so supportive of your quests for adventure. We also love the ones with the kids and Tori.

EPIC!!Enjoyed every second of this trip.Really enjoyed your singing,no Lightfoot this time. The mountains along the Bonnet Plume were spectacular,oh yeah, the fishing. A man of many talents. Many thanks Jim,sincerely.🇨🇦🍁
Amazing trip, I can't imagine the surreal feeling at the end. Discomfort but just extreme satisfaction and joy along with some sadness as you are about to depart. Thanks Jim.
Best channel on TH-cam. Found some time to do 9 miles in our local river in my old beat up 18 ft alumacraft. The whole time dreaming it was a hundred miles in the North. . From Indiana
Another GREAT challenging adventure wrapped up and in the can !!! CONGRATS on a job well done…..I’m betting that Tori will make you hose off in the yard before she lets you back in the house !!! THNX !!!
Hey dude! Another amazing series you have experienced and shared with us. 🙏 Much gratitude and don't forget everyone we owe it to the ones before us. Take a minute or 10 at 11:00 am today to remember the sacrifice that allows us these gifts. Looking forward to the next one! Cheers Steve
I so enjoyed this adventure. It has kept me company on fall evenings here in the far northeast corner of Vermont, and inspired me in many ways large and small. Thank you, Jim. ❤
Another great series Jim! I love watching your channel - thanks for all the work you do to let us come along with you! I always think of Buck when you are alone out there. He sure was a great dog!
I don’t even know where to begin. I came across you a couple months ago and I watched all 10 episodes of this. Plus I few other of your adventures. you’re a beast. Besides the labrador trip, this one blew my mind as far as technical difficulty and terrain. You definitely have incredible skills and a guardian angel on your shoulder. I have learned a lot from you and you have motivated me to create my own adventures, thank you! I look forward to your next adventure.(s)😉 Safe travels to you, and your family. Cheers, Gordo
Hi Jim, you should have more subscribers, your adventures are filled with beautiful scenery, right on point music to go with the videos, good cooking, and your awesome skills as an experienced outdoorsman, thank you for the awesome adventures you take us on❤
I don't know Jim, after seeing those bear tracks on the bar and then you pan across to your tent, I can see why it's called Taco bar, perhaps Burrito bar would be more fitting, lol. Love your adventures, great stuff. Thank you.
Lmao, I bet you slept for two days straight once you got home bro. Thanks for the adventure and enjoy your time with your family this holiday season my friend ✌ ☮
What an awesome series. Thoroughly enjoyed it from begging to end. Thank you for showing us the beauty of the Yukon. Can’t wait to get out there myself. Looking forward to your next adventure! Cheers!
As always, awesome video and thanks for taking us along. This was a great trip and can't wait to see how your boys take to the water with you, won't be long since they grow so fast. Looking forward to another family outing with Tori, Ted and Heather.
I paddled the Noatak River in Gates of the Arctic with a group last year and fell in love with the north so watching this brings back wonderful feelings! I'd paddle in the rain all day, but head winds are a b_tch!
Forgive me for being dumb, but how did you get such a beautiful shot of the plane taking off if you were in the plane?? This whole trip was breathtaking. Nobody does it like Jim Baird.
I was just thinking the same thing! If you noticed when he was having breakfast there was another plane on the beach. I’m sure he took footage of that one leaving and used it.
Thanks Jim, for letting us spend time with you on this epic journey. Fantastic! Q: What does Arctic Greyling taste like? I see you eat it a lot, and you almost always comment on how great it tastes. Lastly, I'm curious what your all-in planning, time commitment was for this trip, as well as cost. A very large commitment, and I commend your marriage relationship that can withstand her understanding your need to continuously go. I look forward to the next adventure. Thanks, again.
Thanks a lot, I forget exactly and I had some funding from the Yukon government but the float planes alone were about 7,000 Canadian. I ended up loosing a couple days in WH due to personal shortages as well. But two weeks wouldn’t be too much time to do the trip in and it’s nice to be able to do some hikes etc.
Thanks so much for this series. I've enjoyed every episode. Hope Tori enjoyed your gold nugget. Although I'm sad to see the last episode in this series, I take solace in knowing there will other adventures you will share down the road.
