      For all intensive purposes, Dan could be considered THE BOSS of JKD. Absolutely certain. 😉👈🏻💯I also agree with your distinction.

      @@JKDVIPER Dan is a fraudster. Real effective JKD can be learned in a short time. Obviously takes longer to master. But that wouldn’t have had the money coming in. So Dan devised the bull shido JKD concepts nonsense. To keep the students coming in and paying money for as long as possible. What a sc a mmer.

      @@JKDVIPERDan Inosanto is one of the big gest frau dst ers in martial arts. His "as many arts as possible" (his words). Was designed to keep students coming in paying him money. Sc s ammer.

      @@dagaffer2269it's only a scam if he didn't know those styles and taught as if he did.
      Go test him out and record it.

    You see..ther's too much to rember ..& "don't do this & don't do that"(during training )..Wear padding(head gear,shin guards,etc)so that u CAN practice
    hitting where u want to hit !

    The only problem w/rehearsed routines is that in a real fight( fists or any weapon) IS your OFF GUARD ! ..Somthng is happening YOU WERNT expecting !
    Bruce Lee ddnt rehearse ! He made his practice as REAL as possible..which meant going to the street .
    B.Lee always said be careful of all this remembering techniques & moves,etc,etc..all the while the other guy is whipin your ass !

    Oh boy, sorry but a plethora of uneducated comment arise. Imbibe a few concepts...range, simultanious defense attack...zones from which an attack may come or be delivered...the "alive hand"- the one that may come in after or simultaneous ... sensitivity training...that take more time than most have patience for...
    Bite your tounge and learn.😂

      @@axelstone3131 Bruce lee was open-minded, investigating, experimenting, evolving, inspiring, Guro Dan Inosanto is a perfect example of the above and having no way as a way.

      @@StephenMair no way as way doesn’t mean adding other styles . It means being able to adapt to any other styles WITHOUT the need to add other styles. Longest weapon, nearest target. Timing, distance, reaction time, etc.
      In the beginning Bruce did cross train, but most of what he “cross trained” was discarded for a more efficient, simplified and refined martial art known as JKD.
      JKD is not a blend of different styles. It’s about being direct, efficient and simple. That’s it.

    • @StephenMair
      @StephenMair 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@axelstone3131 Bruce Lee was holistic in his approach ! He garnered information in order to evolve spiritually mentally emotionally physically. JKD was him and his expression at the time. Without the development of attributes it will be difficult to employ strategies. Kali is a sophisticated attribute martial art that develops attributes. In a fight it is direct simple and efficient! Try some knife fighting stick fighting it will improve your hand eye coordination, distance timing and rhythm, body mechanics, power and not least will pressure test beyond the realms of unarmed combat! Bruce was Bruce, be yourself not confined by the ' classical mess' which also includes JKD!

    dan does the same thing most fma instructors do..prefaces the video with "you can do the same techniques with a bladed weapon" and then shows techniques that are 90% STICK TECHNIQUES ONLY !! if you don't believe me...try to visualize where the sharp edge of the blade would be and see for yourself how many times you would be cut doing the majority of these techniques !!!
