One of the GOAT movies for certain.
Denzel was incredible,he must of improvised many of those lines...no way could someone remember or memorize that convoluted dialogue!
I have literally watched this movie 124 times. It still is as good as the second or 3rd watch and I still notice little things each time
Fantastic film! I remember watching this on the big screen, and I was blown away!
Marlin Brando, Antonio Bandaras, and Omar sharif were all magnificent in this movie!
Now WHY don't we see great movies like this anymore?? The Acting, the Story, etc. I mean, WTF happened to movies lately?!
Too much wokeness , political agenda , and cancel culture in hollywood.
Peoples attention spans and standard for value have dropped. These days it’s just about who can make the quickest content the fastest. Quality doesn’t seem to matter as much. The love for cinema has decayed. That said they are still many filmthusiasts out there who are still producing great films if you look hard enough.
A part 2 would be great ,,jake turning just like alonzo
Superhero flicks have dumbed down audiences
Too much Avengers, as they fought alien forces the mlitary were just watching the war and ate popcorns. Lol.
Denzel & Ethan ----------both were superb. Both should have been nominated, & Antoine should have been for certain, nominated for Best Director. -----------20 years, ago. Incredible.
I can’t even count how many time I’ve watched training day . Denzel was the damn devil in this movie this man range 😂😂😂😂is incredible . And he’s fioneeee one of the best actors of this time 💕
Heat and training day. 2 movies ive seen 100 times. And. Never gets old
No other actor could have played Alonzo.
NOOOOO OTHER ACTOR COULD'VE PLAYED LONZO period!
@PL Lyons Sam Jackson would just be crazy.. He wouldn't have the same charisma
Samuel Jackson is a great actor but he wouldn’t have worked in this
Maybe Jammie Fox... but Denzel was shining with this character without doubt.
@@jmmacalalag Idris Elba 🤔
Antoine Fuqua created such an amazing atmosphere with this movie. Everything from the script to the lighting, images of the sun going down, deep pulsating drums on the score, just a masterpiece all the way around.
And of course, that card game was sp well played. The only time it felt like a movie was when Dr. Dre was trying to "act", lol
Besides that, it immerses you in this alternate universe that feels so tense and real. I rented it today on Prime just to catch up with it as it had been a few years since I last saw it.
Every movie that Denzel stars in is great! I absolutely love Denzel, and will watch every and any movie that he's in. Denzel is a sensational and incredibly talented actor!
