The best shoot out in film EVER!!
Screw it. It’s my favourite movie of all time. I love Godfather 1 & 2, The Exorcist, Goodfellas, Night of the Hunter but this is the one I go back to the most. Every character has a story to tell & is perfectly cast. The look & vibe of the film is so cool & immersive. The sound is awesome. I can’t fault anything about it. It’s a masterclass in every aspect of filmmaking. It’s just the best 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah, I just had that exact conversation with myself at 2 AM…watching this documentary…😂…The film is perfect in every every way… Cinematography, score, sound, editing… From top to bottom… On the right year this would’ve been nominated for a dozen Academy Awards and won damn near every one of them… amazing to think I saw this in the theater in ‘95… Along with Braveheart and a great many others from that year.
@@archstanton1161 I agree with everything you just said aside from mentioning Braveheart in the same conversation as it. To me that movie is an abomination 😂
@@seank135 don’t know many film geeks that don’t enjoy Braveheart… Completely devoid of any factual credibility but as a drama/romance/action film… It’s a glorious treat… especially for the time… That being said… To each their own
@@archstanton1161 I just think that when I was saying how Heat was a masterclass in every aspect of filmmaking, Braveheart is the opposite to me. Dreadful acting, screenwriting, music ect. I just find the whole thing hard to sit through. Gibson got better though. He made a film called apocalypto that is absolutely superb
