For Akiha's new move I simpled press 4[button] during brilliant wheel animation. It'll come out and not force an input out of akiha herself. So you can buffer brilliant wheel 4[button] and run forward instantly or combo without so much as moving backwards an inch. The use you get out of this move is midscreen. Normal Brilliant wheel pushes enemies away. This will bring them in on oki for more consistent pressure. You dont have to run to them anymore. This makes her strike throw more scary. Especially with command grab super.
I think you forgot one thing about the Shield changes. Similarly to how crouching Shield fails against a standing mid, standing Shield fails against a crouching mid. For instance, Dead Apostle Noel's 2B hits mid. As I understand it, trying to standing Shield that move should now lead to the "Shield Failure Guard". There are also some multi-hit crouching normals that hit mid first. Previously, the opponent could Shield counter the first hit from a standing Shield. This is now no longer possible, they _gotta_ do crouching Shield against a crouching mid.

A potentially noteworthy change about arcueid's new launcher 2nd hit to her rekka is it actually combos into the overhead version of the 3rd hit, which previously didn't work. The overhead 3rd hit used after the launcher 2nd hit puts the opponent closer to you than the default, but allows them to tech upon floor bounce. Also the more arguably important part about Blowback edge J.2b is it becomes an overhead. Previously j.2b was blockable both low and standing. Paired with it's absolutely atrocious endlag made it her second most punishable move after 4C. Now the blowback edge version can be used to try and catch a low shield (maybe by delaying an IAD) and if you somehow catch with the standard version, the rekka (being Arc's fastest super next to 214A) can use the 2nd hit to get combo confirms off a previously semi-useless move (inb4, "but it was a core part of her BnB and 2B+C"). Also if you hit shield with BE j.2b, you can special cancel into 623A. If you land a counter hit on it, you can combo into 2B for a BnB. And without a counter you can jc IAD the 623x~x for a followup. To be extra funny, if you're midscreen when you hit the 623x~x you can IAD into j.2C into 22x~x for a wall bounce
Also important to note, a lot of Arc’s pressure in blockstring was her strike-throw mix-ups due to her multiple plus frame options. However, to bait the throw, she formerly relied on j.2A and either used 22A which had poor reward or 2BC which expended moon gauge. j.2[A] naturally combos from midscreen enhancing her pressure.
@@johnschvekin1665 j.2B, but yes, you're right. This gives her stronger mixups on top of what she already had. And the extended stall can give some means to avoid the changes to the universal 3C antiair buff
the funny thing is... its there in my software, but for some reason the top layer of my editor collapsed on export... I think I accidently excluded the layer U__U
Another change to Pciel is that she doesn't give up if she is faking 236C armored charge(there is no big green flash) and i think it can also be delayed now a bit if you hold but not too much(not sure)
Honestly yeah. I got the game on release and didn't really have a lot of fun. To be fair, I did suck at fighting games then. But 250 hours later in tekken I came back with the necosweep and honestly I had a ton of fun. This game is great. Only gripe I hear some people have besides the general shield complaints (thank god for the nerfs tho it helped a ton) is I think jiyuna says that every matchup feels sort of the same. But it's a great game for sure.
just warning: bad r*py sex scenes in the old version, the newer one i don't think is translated yet (talking about tsukihime specifically) that said, i always felt melty was worth it, the shield rps system just got in the way in alot of situations, pushing the game away from normal fighting, it's finally closer to balanced. also (assuming you're new to fighting in general which you might not be): if you're worried about playing people too experienced: play ranked. I know this sounds counter intuitive, but rankings exist for a reason, it's not to shun people it's to act like mmr and help you chart your progress. i know it can be hard to strug this off ranked play but i do mean it: skill can be non linear but it still gives a good estimation of where you lay
@@MilkyCao the new version’s arc route is translated by tsukihimates already. It still has the good old tsukihime feel, with the chair scene and an entire cg of a certain someone cut into 17 pieces

I waited years for type lumina and couldn't get past rapid beat ruining my combos. I said I would wait until they "fixed" it and thanks to you I'm aware that they did. Thank You.
For saber, you can actually dash cancel the rekka on the second hit as well. It by itself really isn't too strong because you can just low jab it to check all the follow-ups but it will catch people you've conditioned to guard 2 hits then shield because her main block string to rekka usually ends in two hits to overhead or delay low. Her aerial 236b non charged is actually a mid, so her aerial 236[b] helps make the move overhead. It's probably more useful if you tiger knee input it on the ground so you can get instant dive to low crush things and not just get low blocked.
@@DaikenFGC I haven't seen anyone land it on hit and I don't think you can combo into it(2c~[2c] doesn't work on hit)but on block it kinda throws them backwords and a bit in the air,kinda similar to that impact thing in sf6 And,it was shown even in the first necoarc Vs miyako battle preview

Yes, all dlc characters are free indefinitely. If fact, they included all dlc characters into the game with this new update so you don't need to download dlc

I don’t know what the default is since I usually always change something about every control scheme. For Xbox controller I use: X=A Y=B B=C A=D I don’t really pay attention to the button names on the controller. I like to think of it as going from left to right in terms of strength, light(A)>medium(B)>heavy(C) and the bottom button is your shield.
lmao. Moon drive is still very strong for sure! However, there are more options to deal with it now due to the clash changes and the ability to throw the startup of moon drive activation. I hope you look into those options and give it another chance!

@@DaikenFGC It gives a bigger wall bounce, and it also counts as another move in combos so the proration doesn't scale if you did 2CC before 2C[C].

botched netcode happened. It's much better now, about on the level of Strive's, but a lot of people dropped it right away
