Hi, a couple of times my character has done a "kick-up" move (i use leo) and i have no clue how i did that. And it's not shown on these wake up move videos. Does anyone have any idea what the input is or if there's any other explanation? Kick up is that one martial art move when someone stands up by springing up with both their hands.

It's broken af. Literally all I do is bully lower rank players when I play on my intended floor. And that is 'if' i can play there...there's no population for the floor system to work properly. So everyone is literally all over whatever floors that have ppl...so u'll get kicked down again cause u hit players many floors above u too many times in a row. It's dumb. Basically ignore it, just focus on getting better. Once ur better u can....climb the floors....? Who even cares about climbing pointlessly arbitrary floors at that point sheesh.

I know it's been 2 years but please someone explained me the lingo of this game I don't understand at all I am brand new fresh to fighting games as well

I think we could reframe this discussion via skill floor and skill ceiling. Those advocating for accessibility want a low skill floor. Those who want a top tier competitive game NEED a high skill ceiling. You can NEVER lower the skill floor at the cost of the skill ceiling in a competitive game, or you harm the game. It's that simple. If it doesn't lower the skill ceiling? Perfect, no one cares at the top end. The other thing that is necessary for "personal expression" at the top end is a broad number of actions someone could take at any time.

Honestly I can tell you a few reasons, bland character designs, (minus a few exceptions) bland stages, lack of modes, lack of combo freedom, silence from the dev team, and terrible gameplay. It’s like they tried copying Granblue’s gameplay but dumbed it down even more, I wasn’t a big fan of Granblue either but it won me over and at least I can use it to satiate my Soul Calibur thirst.

8:00 thats weird from my experience it was the opposite were weak springs would do that and strong springs will help it return and stay at neutral better.
