Very reminiscent of the Honda plant I work at in Alabama. We build Odysseys, pilots, and Ridgelines. Next year, we will start production on the Acura MDX.
My 06 crv se was Swindon built. I live in Florida now but grew up in Swindon 30 years ago. Not sure if lm happy with this lol as I may have known some of the people who built it.
I worked there as a contractor for 3 years from 2005-2008. A funny place. Never noticed the exercise thing, but they do play funny sounding tunes on the loudspeakers when shift change takes place and when break times start. Everyone still wears white - kind of feels like you are in some strange sci fi movie.
I piccoli guai delle honda sono iniziati qui. Proprio in quegli anni avete fate fatto un casino con gli assemblaggi delle guarnizioni del finestrino. Ingrassaggio piantone volante insufficiente, ingrassaggio ponte rigido posteriore insufficiente, interni portiera e cruscotto macchiati di colla ecc... ecc... questi e altri problemi sono stati riscontrati su civic 8 fn4 fn2 nel 2009 e in quegli anni in generale. "Problemini" di rifinitura che le Honda made in Japan non avevano mai avuto. Siete migliorati molto da allora. Spero che con la Civic 10 facciate le cose fatte per bene!
loved my dads old type s fn2 but i hated my type r i had recently. poor build quality and all over lacquer peel(red). the owners pages were full of gobshites and no1 sold a decent panel. all needed paint.(even though sellers claimed they were good) got sick of it after only a few months and got shot of the thing
Management you can't hack me, can't hack me anymore, but thank you for the redundancy money and you was very corrupted and glad you got closed down worked well for me
@kellymooey i work for TSTECH that makes the seats and sends them to honda , right now its days only but there will be 2 shifts next year it will go one week days the next week nights for us its 7am till 3;20pm
@kellymooey militery test/exercises ? wow never had that done lol but you will be ask for a medical its a little test see if your bodys ok i never had an enterance test it was more an interview and when you get on line you will have a trainer or something to stand with you and show you step by step, it be abit of piss lol
My 2008 Civic was made there, still have it, love it and don't want to get a new. I felt bald learning that Honda plans to close the plant.
It always amazes me that cars are actually relatively cheap when you consider all that goes into making them.
