Excellent presentation and videography. Thank you Wiley for a professional and unbiased review of the C Cat48. Congratulations on being selected as distributor for them.
Surely this is a very neatly built Catamaran.. The designers have kept the option to customize the boat so much, that you can always have room for more simple things.. As usual, loved the tour..
For an offshore sailing cat, the exterior helms seemed remarkably exposed, and the interior helm station appeared to be just for motoring? Aside from that, it seems very well configured, and it's incredibly beautiful from the outside also!~
Other than what you seen, the only other two items I can see is too many square corners. They need to be rounded off, and an induction cooktop, get rid of the propane. The other bad thing about it, is I'll never be able to afford one. Stay safe everyone.
There's a lot that I like in that cat -- gorgeous lines, and the sail plan seemed aggressive but also sensible and controllable. I'm not sure there's enough cold storage for a real passagemaker; what do you do if you're four weeks at sea? Eat canned and dry food, I guess, but it still seems like a good idea to pack in more. I would move some of the general kitchen storage over to where the wine cooler is right now, and then add a freezer in the place where it was... either that or substitute another full sized fridge-freezer for one of the hanging lockers. I can find spare corners into which to stuff my clothes... I can't do that with my meat. The other thing which concerned me was just how unprotected the outdoor helm was. Yes, there's an indoor helm you can use when it's really bad out, but in weather bad enough to need a careful hand on the sails, you need to be out there. I'd like to see the outdoor helms a shade more inboard, with a way to put eisinglass curtains down around them, which you just can't do where they are now. But there's really a ton to like in this boat! Loved that indoor helm, loved the big athwartships bed (which I would use as the master instead of the queen on the other side, but that's just preference), and loved the lines, which are the prettiest I've seen on a new sailing cat in a long time.
@@catamarancentral I figured that cold storage could be arranged, which is part of why I mentioned a couple of ways I could imagine doing the interior to fit it in. I'm surprised to hear that helm protection can be done, since the helms look too far outboard compared to the cockpit overhang for helm protection to be easily installed. I'm intrigued to hear that it's possible; that definitely makes this a more functional boat, I think.
Wiley I’ve watched you for some time and you’re videos are just head and shoulders above any others. Thanks for the great overview of a beautiful boat. As an aside, audio and video are also top-notch, can you put info in your comment section about which equipment you’re using to get such clarity of audio and stability in your video?
At last, Wiley gets behind the type of cat I wish more cruisers wanted. Condomarans are not fun sailing boats, sailing is a huge part of why I love blue water cruising.
@@catamarancentral You don't always get a chance to decide, if you're crossing oceans, though certainly getting the heck out of the way of a storm beats sailing through it when you have enough time to run.
Very nice, and I have to agree to many square corners, also the exposed helms. But I'm sure the designers have an option for protection when at the helm. Love the cook top design, 3 in a row, so more unable for bigger pots. All in all, very nice.⛵🐚🤿🐟🎣🌴☀️🇦🇺
Wiley, as usual you did another good job sharing the attributes of this beautiful boat. I like the two head design that gives more space for other things. How many showers and heads are really needed on one boat. Are you still with Dennison? If by some chance I have the money to purchase a boat you will be my guy.
Probably the best video presentation I’ve seen you do. Nice job.
Thanks Shane. It was such an amazing boat that it was easy to get behind it and let the passion come through.

Thanks Dave. We are really excited and proud to represent such an incredible line.
Love it!!! Great job as always Wiley!!!
beautiful boat, beautiful ... the interiors are wonderful and then it's very fast !!! Well done !!!
Thanks Claudia. We had a ton of fun making this. Drop me a note if you're interested in more info. Wiley@CatamaranCentral.com
Thanks Wiley that is truly a beautiful boat.
Thank you so much for watching.
Great video, well done. Beautiful boat, can’t wait to see one in person.
Thanks Ryan!

There is a steering wheel inside if you want to stay out of the element !!!
@@daivietnguyen7289 if you're inside, you can't trim the sails.
@@windrider65 ..I guess you could put the boat on autopilot and trim the sails !!! Cheers !!!
@@windrider65 …Put your boat on autopilot and then go trim your sails…Just common sense !!! 👍
Clean fast and minimalist I dig it the lack of a weather enclosure for the outside helm would be my only gripe with that beautiful boat
There is the option for hardtops.

Luckily this boat is completely customizable. I would totally opt for more cold storage, and better protection over the helms.

The reverse bows gives it such a nice sexy look, I love it!
The boat just screams sexy.
I've seem many catamarans at this point and that one has to be one of the sexiest I've seen. Love it.
That is exactly what my videographer said.

Those are some good questions... I used a professional videographer, and I believe he's shootings with a Sony A7. Not sure on the mic though.
Very well done presentation. As someone who has been in the film and commercial industry. This was very informative.
Thanks Kevin. We had a ton of fun making this one.
WSCC is still the leader in innovative catamarans tours.
Thanks for the kind words Roger. I have a lot of fun making these videos.

I love the C-Cat 48. Its quite the boat.
Love it. What an excellent design.
⬆️ yep you're right! For the condition shown. Now, let's try 15ft. seas and 40 knot winds.
@@stevenr8606 That's what sea trials are for. I'd really like to see this in one.
Who's dumb enough to go out in 15ft seas and 40kts breeze? You'll find me sitting at the dock in those conditions regardless of the boat.

Hi Wiley! Welcome in Italy 🇮🇹
I love Roma.
Very well put together video

I really like it a lot.
Beautiful cat and very professional video. No quick pano though.
Yep, we need more pano.

@@catamarancentral :) LMFAO :)
Nicely done beautiful cat!
Thank you. I love the new code zero!
She is a beautiful boat my only issue is I would round the corners of the furniture and cabinets especially in the passage behind the inside helm
Nice, would like a larger fore deck, but looks fast.
They make a 56 ;)

When will the first model be available to view in the USA? Intriguing design!
Doug, hopefully Miami Boat Show 2023. If you'd like to fly out and sea trial hull 1 let me know ;)
Very nice cat 👍
THanks!
You didn’t even yell at us today!
HOW ABOUT NOW!!! Thanks for taking the time to watch ;)
She is beautiful! Wonderful lines and sporty. Only the aft helm position is a bummer in my eyes. I hate that. Sorry.
PS: Quickpano?
There are other options for the helm.
@@catamarancentral Ah, interesting

Awesome job… but… no pano…??
I get to drink when you say “pano”. Lol!
You're an adult... You don't need me to tell you when to start drinking ;)
Did the word "stateroom" get redefined? pretty tiny
Performance boats tend to not have the same dimensions as condo catamarans.
Good GaLs ⚾️ ……… 🏁🇺🇸
Don't quite follow?
Is that a license built leopard?
No... She is a semi-custom built performance boat.
boat so perfect video looks like CGI.
Looks like body lines of a privilege
12:44 Wow, Lamborghini!!! Of course Italian performer couldn't run Volvo Penta )))
I'd opt for the Yanmar package personally ;)
It's Lombardini, which is now part of US Kohler Co.
Look like Outremer:))
Except for Italian styling, performance, and non of the French arrogance ;)
If its built like a Natuzzi leather sofa it will be overpriced and under constructed!
Luckily its built like a yacht, and not a sofa...
This cat is the real copy of the catana 53 👈🤔
I don't know. I'd argue its a better built boat, faster, and much better pricing.
