When he says you can fit all of Disney Land and California Land and still have room he is being very misleading. Of the 157 acres, about 12-14 acres are actually buildable. The rest is mountain side. Though he never seems to address that.

23 acres can be built on and the rest is mountain.

      I've documented myself a bit.
This is not the land Bezos wanted to buy.
There are 2 pieces of very expensive land:
      1. this one, with a asking price of 1 billion
      and
      2. the one you are talking about, called "the Enchanted Hill", which was owned by Paul Allen (Microsoft co-founder), and which had the price you were talking about.
Now, the first one was still disputed legally, and it sold for only $100,000 - to its lender, the Mark Hughes Trust.

And the 90 million dollar Bezos deal also didn't end well since Bezos already bought a house in Beverly Hills.

If I could buy that property, I would build a 100,000 1 room highly "sustainable" Agenda 21 studio apartments connected with a new Los Angeles Metro Rail line (Orange Line) [Wilshire/ West Hollywood/ Beverly Hills/ Bel Air/ Brentwood/ Playboy Mansion/Holmby Hills / Palisades/ Malibu/ Topanga]
