The deal between Brainiac and Tribb, if you look deep into that, Tribb was so old and so smart that when she searched the Universe for something to stop General Chacal and his forces she deduced that Brainiac was the only one who could do something about them. Brainiac was the only one able to "kill the unkillable," so to say. It just goes to show how formidable and dangerous Brainiac was, even before Brainiac got his immortality.

Brainiac, in my opinion, should never be defeated. With how smart that he is and all of the resources that the takes and the many experiences that he has had with the heroes and everyone else and everything like that it is hard to believe that he would lose. Mike Tyson would beat Albert Einstein every time, though i imagine Einstein's trashtalk would be fire.

It's hard to make sense out of certain limitations of characters sometimes. Last I recall, Lobos race can regenerate from a drop of blood, nearly unkillable, so I'm trying to understand how the female Brainiac slaughtered them all?
Superman never uses his most powerful ability. His SPEED. He can move at the speed of light. He should be able to move and hit so fast only others with similar abilities, like the Flash, could ever hope to keep up with him. Enhance his already planet smashing physical power with velocity like that and he should be able to instantly atomize every thing he encounters, including Darkseid and Doomsday. Writers always just have him punching like a goon, but that speed is truly what kills. Sure, Superman doesn't kill, but up against someone he knows can take it, like Lobo, he should be zipping around so fast that he's already hit Lobo a thousand times before he can even react to it.
If Superman has Superspeed, and Lobo, Doomsday, and Darkseid can keep up with him, that doesn’t mean superman isn’t using super speed, it means the other villains have comparable speeds
