I did I took it as his neurosis, not that that he is not smart but the way each part does not matter, he did not care about the money, or the gangsters, not even standing in front of citizens at the party or getting beaten up by Batman. The anarchy he is all for it as he left the blown-up police station in the back of a police car reveling in the moment. For a second in dual decision making, he won; the criminals did nothing, and the citizens contemplated setting off the criminals' bomb. I think that last scene was not true to the Joker as the detonators provided to each boat was set to the other boat not to their own. Fault falls ambiguously, but it was always the Joker who killed them even by their own hand.

I can see why some wouldn't like the art in this comic, but this is what I love about comic books. These panels are gorgeous! It has its own style, its own purpose, and while not every one is perfect this is irrefutably art. It screams hand-drawn with love and care, and as it leans more into its style as Batman's condition worsens, it reminds me why I fell in love with comic books. Art.
That was a really great story, nice twist and very Bane. Question Rob, would you say stories like this are a direct reflection of Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker? Seems to be such a compelling darkness to this one.

The whole point of that line is that he’s lying to trick Dent. The beginning of the movie demonstrates how joker operates, he’s meticulous.
