First concert at 12 years old...a little ol white kid from Southeast Massachusetts..a cold February night in Providence my father at that point decided in the best way possible, it was time for me to become culturally appropriated...and shove greatness in my young sponge brain... he dragged me to Providence Preforming Arts Center for B.B King and Buddy Guy....rest is history. For those with teenage kids..bring them to live music.....it's the only way to save humanity

I was star-struck and without even realizing it, I exclaimed, “I love you BB!!!”… he paused, looked at me and said “I love you too, baby”. SHEER AWESOMENESS!!! I wish I could attach an up-close pic I took of him that night.
I have respect for Sambora, he's a great musician that's not afraid to work outside his usual genre of music. You can't be a well rounded player if you don't go outside the box sometimes.

That solo was better than I expected. The thing here is that the great BB King paved the way for all this guitarists, without him and the blues we wouldn't have Rock and all that followed.
