I was there for this game, and was one of the first fans who stormed the pitch. Man, this was a special moment.

I don’t think Non OSU fans can really understand how big this play was. In the 90’s, we had teams that should have played for an national title lose to that team up north multiple times, and this was the play that ended all those years of heartbreak
I moved from Cincinnati to St Louis was pacing the floor watching my beloved Buckeyes win that game on TV.

As an OSU fan I always dreaded these endings!! We came up short so many times before with cooper. It was nice to finally get a couple in a row under tressle. I still think he should have been unbeaten against Michigan but he just had to much faith in his defense and in the one loss he was just to conservative on offense in my opinion. What a 20 year run we have had as OSU fans we have been spoiled after the cooper era.

For me... This was THE BEST GAME EVER!!!
I was at that game, my first OSU-mich game. It was CRAZY!!!!!!! I was near the closed end and ran onto the field. I was afraid to get trampled. The cops were tackling people as they ran across the end-zone. I made it to the field and grabbed a piece of turf and stuck it in my pocket. What a game, so cool to say I was there...
You will remember that game for a long time. The only OSU-TTUN game was in 1982 for me, when they still had Astro Turf on the field. It was cold and it rained, and the 1st time they had 90,000 fans in the Shoe.
@@mightymac63 Yep, super cool. I also went to the 2006? game where they were 1 vs. 2. I'll never forget that one because it was my birthday. I didn't rush the field that time, but a lot of people did. It was crazy as well. Now, this year is shaping up to be the same. Might be 2 v. 3. The Shoe is gonna be rocking. Tickets are unaffordable, gonna watch from my comfy couch.

@jusprazem1 Ohio State generally has one of the best defenses in the country. I have no clue what happened to our defense in the NC games, but we did control a very good Oregon offense in the 2010 Rose Bowl.

notice when the teams involved in defensive wars like (2002 ohio state) in their biggest games though not pretty) actually win the national title when they get there unlike the 42-39 scoring team....both michigan and ohio state lost their bowl games in 2006....there is no surprise that LSU and ALABAMA are in the same bowl game which happens to be the championship game...gotta have some defense as well.

@OSUkid23 Ohio state has that good defensive line traditionally. That forced Oregon to have to settle for outside runs...that made defending Oregon much easier. With Urban Meyer there what is your expectations in 2 years. Also, the michigan Ohio state rivalry will be huge i predict...what do you think

LOL That party......ummm..........got a little out of hand as I remember it.
For the sake of rivalry, I hope Michigan gets really good, ESPN gives them so much hype and glory, and then this game will once again have meaning to the word rivalry, but of course the Buckeyes will walk away the real victors and the Big Ten Champion. (And if we don't go to the National Championship, hopefully we'll win our bowl game.)

@OSUkid23 oregon is fast but not as strong as Ohio state. Florida and Lsu were as fast if not faster and they were as strong.

Meh I'd rather go to the Rose Bowl. More tradition and it means more than some pseudo-NC that the BCS puts on.
And that attitude is why TTUN has no " pseudo NC " under their belt.
