Simply no excuse and with the backlit keyboard it would have been a much easier sell. Really cannot understand it especially for the higher versions. They have missed a sale from me and I suspect many others. In the UK we can have 16 hours of darkness in Winter and being able to save lighting in these expensive times as well as if others are watching the TV in darkness, it is major stupid by MS.
Do you or anyone happen to know if Adobe CC is able to be downloaded and if it runs well on this laptop? I'm trying to search for a laptop that can run Adobe CC very well and that only. If you have any other recommendations, could you just reply back? Thanks.
@@jaeger6846 Yeah the top spec model is close enough to what the Surface Laptop 4 likely goes for on sale that it would be worth just getting that instead
@@jaeger6846 The mid and top specs are perfectly fine and it has GREAT build quality for the money. Alternatives like HP's pavilion line have awful, cheap build quality and won't last very long either. The Surface Go 3 is the closest thing you're going to get to MacBook quality at this price and that's perfectly fine for most people since any other decently made and reliable Windows laptop is going to cost upwards of $1200.
For a little bit more price you could get the Lenovo 7i this is way way way way way way too freaking expensive this laptop should cap at 600 not start at 600 not even a 1080p screen or backlit keyboard this should have been with AMD and made between 4 to $600

honestly if operating system doesn’t matter to you, i recommend getting the m1 mba off the refurbished section from apple for just $849. it’s a way batter deal compared to this hot garbage

it's odd that they'd omit keyboard backlighting, but then go as far as putting a led around the power/fingerprint button.
exactly, also would rather have a backlit keyboard than a touchscreen.
Anything under 8GB RAM should considered as a crime against humanity
Yeah in 2022 it makes no sense for a brand new laptop. Maybe if it ran Chrome OS or Windows 10 it could work but definitely not Windows 11.
You said this in another video that was posted
@@CapitalDream Are you sure about that?
affordable your ass.. for god sake 4gb and 128 gb storage are a big Nono nowadays
128GB isn't a no no. Plenty of people store next to no data on their PCs. Agreed on 4GB though.
Nice 4Gb ram is enough for winamp and ms paint
Notepad too.
Minesweeper
The 4gb is just for shows, don't think they have much that config in stock 🤣🤣 most will go for 8gb ram and above.
No backlit keyboard
4GB of ram ??
There is a 8GB ram model.
The non-backlit keyboard is a major dealbreaker.
It’s not lol
Yes

I'm with ya and agree with most of your assessment. "Basic" might be perfectly fine, but there's a few features that should always be there.

how is this prodcut in 2024 are the fans loud is it fast and hows the battery life

The average consumer does not need 3 USB ports or a SD card slot.
Especially the average consumer needs it.
Is this laptop good for streaming games on youtube or twitch?
Absolutely
Thanks 👍 Dude
You video gave me more than others! Especially the description of the fan noise. Very Important to me🤘🎄
Overpriced. Price maters when it's a midrange laptop. The other Surfaces are premium so people would buy them at most price points.
it is a Surface of cause it is pricey.

Definitely paid review. Who is in the right mind buys a last-year CPU with 4GB of RAM? Even 2021 HP Pavilion is a better choice in every specs.
