There's a gap between ultra cheap budget build laptops and basic Premium laptops(Surface laptop 3 and 4, Macbook air 8gb). Fill it greatly!

A quick note on that thermal cover removal: note that each screw has a number, and Chee Cong removes screw number 2 last, which is not correct. You should unscrew heatpipe screws according to their numbers. The best practice is to remove diagonally (bottom-left > top right > top left > bottom right), not clockwise or counter-clockwise, to prevent uneven side pressure from damaging the CPU.
Ok so you provide video to repair the Surface Laptop Go 2, but why in France you don't give the reparability index (indice de réparabilité) on this model while the previous model had one (3,6/10) ?
All of a sudden my surface laptop go did not turn on not matter what we did. I have given it to service Center😢 what could be the possibility for this occurrence? I merely use it
Thank you for the instructions. I did a disk upgrade. It is worth remembering to press the drive firmly into the M.2 connector. If we press the disk in the wrong way, the laptop will not turn on
Thank you so much for that comment, I thought I bricked my surface until I tried this. Before that it didn't even charge, just a black screen and no life signs

my only wish for microsoft is that we can upgrade and repair the ssd , the screen and the battery from the upcoming sruface laptop 5 . and could be even greater if microsoft himself sell the replacements parts .
Hi. My Surface Laptop Go isn't charging when plugged in. It's stuck at 0% all the time and it turns off right away when I unplug the charger. Please help.
My Surface Laptop Go 2 is 4 months out of warranty and my right channel speaker is blown out. I barely use this device. Pretty disappointed as I love Microsoft and the build quality of the surface lineup.
From the first day of purchase go 2 model I had problems with the wi-fi connection. So I installed linux mint on it so at least I can use it right when I need it. Overheating is tremendous CPU is always between 90-100°C and laptop is unusable till it cool down a bit. Maybe I got a defective one, I don’t. I should have returned it right and asked for my money refund, I was lazy. Going to buy a new laptop now. I like the brand and design so I can't say miser pay twice, but it's unusable laptop for my basic daily task's. Sorry Microsoft.

Kudos to microsoft for making this guide and making a easily accessible laptop. This will help in the longevity and reduce electronic e-waste.
