Really???!!! So you had access to every Ancelotti's training and changing room sessions? Such a weak comment from no doubt, a fragile weak minded individual.
Guys get in the real world, why not talk about the shirt on the floor clip lack of respect, let's see football players do 12 hour shifts 5 to 6 day a week let's see how they can handle that.
Fergie had won trophies as a manager and the culture was different back then. Kompany has won nothing as a manager, got Burnley relegated and is managing in an age where most players will not respond to this kind of approach. He will find out very quickly at Bayern, that top players have big egos and part of being a great coach is knowing how to manage the ego. Shouting like a teenage boy will not get him the results he wants.
Im sorry but normal ppl don’t get therapists at work, they don’t get asked how their family life is. I don’t know why that should be different for football players
Managers can always be out of line and as a human, you can stand up to that, kompany is a force in that managerial area. He knows what he's doing. If you cant take the heat, dont go in the fire.
Seriously now, l cannot believe they are against Kompany he’s screaming about the football and not about personal shots here. They get paid millions and English media and citizens think he has no right even when the players might not give all or complain. SOFT JUST SOFT, l had teachers in Italy who screamed at me more than that. Passion to become best, the thing these people don’t understand.
I understand that each manager has their own approach and how they deal with others. But for me, screaming at players like this is not a wise act, and I will never accept that, neither for myself nor for others.
Why not, he wasn't screaming, if you've played it's all in context. Reason why your not a multi million footballer. As a coach you get your point across, people's jobs at risk, people will do anything to have an easy life or pull a fast one.
There's a difference between bringing your players down and making them feel isolated, and actually giving tough love so they straighten up and improve themselves. Nothing wrong with standing up for yourself but make sure you ARE being a true professional and meeting the high demands required of players that standard.
I don't see what the problem is in as far as Kompany going at a player like that. I said the same thing when Troy Deeney went in on a player after a Forest Green Rovers game. People to a large degree are free to conduct themselves how they want in any walk of life as long as the law is upheld and the person doesn't do or say certain things. I will also say that in any reality TV program the participants are ALL TO AWARE that everything is being filmed and so people end up playing up for them.
Some of the Burnley players were a disgrace to the sport. These types of ppl r all over the workplace in many different fields. Some ppl r just soft and entitled. The big difference is that in a competitive men's sport where the whole world is watching, it's a privilege. Professionalism and work ethics should be a given especially being paid the amount they are paid.
The players are become soft what do you think the big club managers do behind the camera they don't care because that's you job you can't be fooling around kompany is a 4 time pl winner he knows what it takes the only players who complains are the weak like you Lennon bounced around from club to club
These nobody players disrespect managers when they've won nothing. Too much walking on egg shells all the best managers do what he was doing, Pep does it, so does Arteta, Mourinho etc. Klopp was abit like that aswell.
Let me paint a picture. I am supervising a choir. The choir director knows we have a critical practice to prepare for a program. He walks in 2 hours late, no apologies, with a scowl on his face. I call him AFTER the practice and ask him why he is late and his phones were all switched off. He gives me a lame excuse. I ask him not to do it again...all this in private. A month later, he repeats it again. This time, there are barely audible murmurs from choir members about his conduct. I call him aside again...same story. Two weeks later, the same scenario repeats itself. I call a meeting after church the next day, and I berate him publicly about his conduct. He never does it again. True story. There are boundaries that need to be set and when they are crossed, there must be consequences.
I bet you the people supporting this out here would feel bad if their boss kept shouting at them at work, or maybe when they have the chance to be seniors in their jobs they are the kind who keep shouting at their Junior Employees.
Apply basic humanity and that should pretty much solve any of these mental health problems/dilemmas. Also, I see modern sport promoting mental health for athletes ad nauseam in the last 5 to 10 years. Its one thing to raise awareness and then another to beg for sympathy when they have piles of cash and every advantage at their disposal. Imagine a billionaire begging for sympathy, that's what these videos come across as now. "Wah wah, don't say bad things about our players, waah, they're just people too, wahhh". I'm sorry but these dudes are paid millions and have a ton of resources such as mental health coaches (viola), physiotherapists, doctors, nutritionists at their disposal to tackle problem a normal civilian would NEVER be able to. Perhaps this extra pressure and scrutiny comes with the job BECAUSE you're paid LOADS, duhhh? Deal with it and stop begging for sympathy. Get off social media, there's 70% of the mental trauma gone right there for these players. Simple. Or another noble idea, ignore the negativity and keep scrolling until you find something that won't hurt your feelings. Sheesh.
Thats why they never play in the top club. Not a good player and mentaly weak. 😂 Championship level at best. Well.. we have to respect the perspective of mediocre player, but don't ever follow them😂
How do you not allow a player to go to a funeral bro? That's wild to me.
I remember Alex Ferguson saying he always gave a player a day off when one of them asked to go to a parents funeral.
So glad Aaron stood up to that an didn’t go down the route the presenter was leading him well done Aaron ✋
It all feels very performative
This screams they’ve never had a real job before..
That is NOTHING.
God forbid any of them were in the armed forces.
The armed forces train people to stupidly accept to die for stupid political decisions, glad you felt that was coherent example
It's a great thing the foot ball isn't the armed forces 😂
I've seen Ancelotti improve players and instill confidence in them without being an ass about it.

It’s about setting clear boundaries and stamping his authority. Kompany is very smart, he knows what he’s doing. Fergie used to do the same thing.

No wonder Burnley struggled. Managers with terrible man management and a desperation to be seen as a tough guy.

I wonder if burnley fans think this was out of order given they were bottom of the league.
