Everyone doubts Foden but now we have a manager that can get the best out of him, he’s technical ability is unrivalled when he’s on top form. The disrespect😢
Problem is, he's not very reliable. He's nowhere near the level of De Bruyne for example who produces every time he's on the pitch. Occasionally Foden is excellent for a few games but then he does nothing again for a while.

Only guy here in the comment section that actually spotted that. It´s clear as days, if RJ is fit, Trent isn´t playing... Not even getting a sniff at that starting XI
I don't agree. This is more of the same if you ask me. I think Tuchel will go for a 3-4-2-1. This will get the best out of Foden Parmer and Bellingham as England's best players. Further, maintaining a deep midfield partnership of Rice and Man Utd starlet Mainoo will help England control the game with potential replacements of Wharton playing right into the scheme of things. A new back three built around John stones works well if quick players are brought in as support wide backs. That's my take on things.
@@juz882010then jude can jog on. Palmer's a much better 10 and if bellingham doesn't want to put the team ahead of his overinflated ego, england will be better off without him.
Overall win ratio % is not what is important for England....Capello had the highest win % as England manager but was an abject failure when it came to when it mattered - within tournament football. What I want to see is the win ratio of the top managers in CL overall and then the win ratio in the knockout phase of CL. That is the closest comparison to international tournament football.
Tuchel is a cup manager, in knockout tournaments he's amazing. With International management and international tournaments being mainly knockout tournaments I think we have a real chance. Granted he's been out of a job since Julian Nagelsman took over Bayern but I have a good feeling. Main problem is will he keep every players ego under check because that's what Capello failed to do not to mention half the team cared about club football more than international
The problem with previous England managers has been their insistence on playing certain players in a position that isn’t where they play at their club and expect them to deliver on the same level. This often leads to an imbalanced side, which is counterproductive. Palmer, Bellingham, and Foden are the perfect example of this. They are all great players, but it’s the player that is going to be left out, who is quite possibly not as talented in the overall sense, but gives the team a more solid and balanced look. The fact of having a player like that on the bench has got to be seen as a positive. Nobody can deny the quality of Ronaldo and his contribution to the national side, but I think Portugal had a problem with their manager feeling pressured to play him in a system that shields his decline in terms of lacking impact in pace and a lack of tracking back to defend, which was a big factor in his performances.
Telling you right now, marcus rashford will play on the left when it comes to it. Tuchel loves him, He's far far better than gordon and his record for england proves it. remember this comment and the praise better be as loud as the criticism.
I’d agree his absolute best is better than Gordon, but Gordon offers you a min 6/10 performance and great work rate every game. When Rashford isn’t scoring goals he offers absolutely nothing to a team. He’s been dreadful for 18 months too.
Good to read a comment from someone who isn't entirely influenced by media narratives. Most people commenting on here are thick as two short planks and just repeat what they've heard on the telly...
Carragher genuinely has everything as a pundit, clear opinions that he can back up with extensive knowledge, an incredible football memory and tries to get others involved to open up debate. Ramsey however, clearly doesn’t have a future in punditry
Kane is the biggest problem in this team now IMO, his legs have gone completely and it's not even a case of dropping deep anymore, he literally plays in midfield virtually all the time. He's never in his actual position, he always stood on the toes of the midfield players which means we have no focal point and virtually 0 threat inside the box. Kane either needs to change up his game or be dropped. Watkins has more than proven his worth.
@@LA-ue2ph Him dropping as deep as he now is, is still as massive problem whether he has pace around him or not. At times he plays in front of the back 4.
I hope Thomas is tactically clever enough to recognize that this Real Madrid Bellingham is a virus that will destroy the chemistry of the team on the pitch. He can‘t dribble properly but he loves himself dribbling way too much, you will see it yourself.
I agree. Bags of talent but he always looks lazy. People hype him up for moments of magic but don't remember the countless cutbacks into exactly where he should be, that he wasn't there for because he was jogging up the pitch.
he cant dribble properly? a virus? looks lazy?😂 Again, these are more examples of the dearth of footballing knowledge in England. It's right through every level.
Normally I really like Jude but the team is more important. The BVB Bellingham is the player we need, the Real Madrid Bellingham is a hero ball, passion merchant. They say his parents keep him grounded, I don‘t see that. Jude is literally becoming a villain. He loves to see himself on the big screen. Nowadays he disappears for 90 minutes and scores a last minute winner just to then say rubbish like „who else?“. There‘s also a reason why in the England camp Trent is his only proper mate, there‘s a reason the players at Dortmund didn‘t like him that much and now he is squaring up to Vinicius. The media wants to portray him as the messiah. Just look at this embarassing Adidas ad for the euros. If you make a 21 year old believe that this world is his, you can‘t expect him to be a humble team player. If Tuchel is a proper manager, he either drops Jude or he gets him to become a team player again who tracks back, doesn‘t cry on the ground all the time, doesn‘t keep the ball for 5 hours before passing it and doesn’t think he‘s a 9 when really he should be an 8. It‘s so frustrating, I genuinely believe that Jude is the biggest problem in this team and because of his massive PR no one questions him, the FA certainly don‘t. Gotta hope for Super Tommy Tuchel.

You don't have to mirror it on the other side. Not everyone does that. Wouldn't mind trying trent at LB though since we have so many good right backs.

Of course, Monday Night Football welcomes Aaron Ramsey from Cardiff City.
0:13 Maybe they should have looked at the managers who had the most trophies in knock out competitions.
Occasionally Foden is excellent for a few games but then he does nothing again for a while.
it is rivalled. by palmer
He’s never been in top form for England only when he plays in a Pep system. No disrespect everyone else is their on Merit or deserve a chance, he shouldn’t start unless he has another season like last year imo.
@@samholt9177 He's never turned up for England. Played every game in the Euros and has absolutely nothing to show for it. Palmer did so much more with much less.

It’s actually a more balance line up with Reece James or Kyle Walker RB, Stones & Colwill CB & Rico Lewis LB, because James/Walker, Stones & Colwill will become the 3 CBs with Lewis stepping into Midfield like he does for City.

Carra speaking facts tbf, not many arguments can be made with that
Completely agree with Jamie

If Reece is in form he is a lock for RB with Tuchel.
Kane being dropped will give him a kick in the backside and he’ll be back to his best
or the most likely scenario would be to build around him to accommodate for his dropping deep, tuchel won't drop kane

People hype him up for moments of magic but don't remember the countless cutbacks into exactly where he should be, that he wasn't there for because he was jogging up the pitch.
he should play deep like he used to at Dortmund
he cant dribble properly? a virus? looks lazy?😂
Again, these are more examples of the dearth of footballing knowledge in England. It's right through every level.
@@harryclassa well said Harry. Bellingham is a parasite to this team and he should be dropped. He’s not a team player has a huge ego.
Ramsey's enthusiasm is there for everyone to see :D

@josh-sina you don't see flying left backs anymore when the right back goes in to midfield. Chilwell and Shaw can't keep fit and have had their chance. Rico Henry is one to watch when back fit. I'd be happy with Colwill playing in that position personally and coming in to make it a back 3.
