The controller of choice for the majority of the racers involved would appear to be the high end Truspeed models - the PWM II PULSE WIDTH MODULATION, and the APEX controllers. The 2024 edition of the New Zealand Slotcar Association 1/32nd scale RTR Nationals are due to be held this coming weekend (5 - 7 July) in Blenheim in the South Island. The track involved is a large, twisting 4 lane track based on English designs, and even though I won't place high up, I am definitely looking forward to competing and meeting up with other racers from around the country.
Hey Mark, thanks for the info, very interesting and, if it's any consolation, I use a truspeed but not those swanky ones you mentioned as, I couldn't tell the difference based on my experience in racing so far. Keep racing bro and thanks for watching 💯🔥🔥
